Batman is the true story of a hero, A man, that Battle not only evil but his own self in the end. True greatness comes from Conquering our inner demons, and learning to find the meaning of life, and to continue to fight on... Batman, in these movies reminded me of Greek heroes, they all battked pain, loss, Tragedies, and continued to triumph
This Batman is based on real life like we are now, and Batman can be anybody, not like any comic books and cartoon and other live action dc and marvel, they’re all based on comic books and cartoon, but this Batman is based on what we are in personal life behind cameras

YES!!! GOD YES!!! This is exactly what i have been saying. DC is about COMPLETE stories. Marvel is more about on going series. As a DC fan I want a complete well thought out story where I leave feeling like I went on a journey and ended up some place special. It's similar to TV vs film. For a TV show you expect twists and turns and cliffhangers to keep the show going. With a Film, you want a complete story. That includes sequels and trilogies. If it take you 3 movies to complete an epic story, that is fine as long as it really shows things have been really thought out and respects the audiences time and money.

THERE IS NO NEED FOR REBOOTS OF BATMAN. After this trilogy, can we just agree to move forward with new stories and new adventures rather than rebooting the same origin story over and over.
Totally agree, Hollywood's biggest weakness is not thinking new ideas. Hell even I have thought of totally new movie ideas that they havn't, we all have
This movie is like "Not in the past and not likely be in the future" no other trilogy ever carried this much weight on its shoulders and yet it reached the apex that nobody ever can achieve. As a Batman fan I'm forever indebted to creators of this epic. And yes this film and this score sure name 'Rise' as it has that ability to rise people's spirits. I feel like it's not blood that flowing through my veins it's electricity powers each individual cell of the body awakening the spirit inside me. Just like Super Saiyan in Dragon Ball Z.
I remember being at the theater opening night in 2012, the montage in the last few moments of the film and the score at 3:50, and how the music and imagery combined to maximum emotional effect... We were all just emotionally devastated.
Man I was wondering how people were reacting at this particular sequence! I bet everyone was devastated and crying but then after seeing Bruce alive they cheered and clapped like crazy after the credits? Bad thing I was too smal when the trilogy was shown in cinemas! I wish I could hear that majestic music in IMAX and see people’s reaction to the scenes! You are lucky that u had that experience
I listen to this Track everyday to remind myself and motivate myself to become a US Marine, to trust and enjoy the process. I love listening from 3:50 to the end. By 6:36 will make me feel like The Dark Knight once I earn that title of a US Marine after I conquer everything at Marine Corps Recuit Depot San Diego. Thank you Hans Zimmer, Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale for this amazing song. It helps me get through another day in the life.
My favorite song of TDKR movie. It's truly eloquently composed, haunting, moving, and with so much emotion, ranging from the funeral mourning at the Wayne Manor to uplifting and hope toward the end where Bruce is alive and when Blake takes over the Bat cave. This makes the ending far more emotional than I could ever expect.
My favorite thing about Hanz Zimmers' pieces for these movies is that I exclusively think of Batman when hearing them. You simply cannot pair them with anything else.
DeadHunter 1998 And from 3:45 you could hear the pain of everyone. The Rise of evil. The need of Batman. The hope that he'll return. Every movie from this trilogy had its scores based on it's themes. BB : Fear TDK: Chaos TDKR: Pain
In the Dark Knight there was so much focus on the protector of Gotham, and how Harvey was Gotham's White Knight. Yet, Batman realized by the end that even the White Knight of Gotham can fall. In the Dark Knight, Bruce says that "Batman has no limits." After being broken down by Joker mentally and Bane physically, Bruce decides to leave his work to someone who we wouldn't really consider as the next White Knight of Gotham. Yet, I believe that if anyone was going to be able to fulfill the role of Batman, or someone similar to protect Gotham after Bruce is gone it would be Blake. Or Robin, as we all assume he would be titled. I feel like that was a brilliant move writing wise because even Bruce himself was an underdog. Harvey was never an underdog. He was bound to fail eventually. He had cracks in his personality that the Joker manipulated and in doing so brought forth Gotham's reckoning. Yet, Robin, has already worked or is at least working through his pain. He has already seen the true nature of the world and is prepared for it. He is the only one that can truly carry the torch. Hence why Bruce was finally able to retire and have a happy life. Because he knew, deep down, that Blake was going to be a fine protector of Gotham. It's a shame we never got to see a sequel titled Robin where Christopher Nolan was able to show us a piece of this. Of course, the brilliance of this trilogy is that is just that-a trilogy. Nolan set out to write a fine trilogy with a beginning, a fall, and a rise. He did just that and walked away. He respected the work and art and let it be. And honestly that was the best thing he could have ever done. Now look, still all these years later and people are still making videos on this trilogy. A masterpiece of our generation. We will never see a better Batman. Nor will we ever see another Christopher Nolan. Great trilogy.
"What you said about structures becoming shackles...you were right. I just can't take it. I mean, nobody will never know who it was that saved an entire city."

This soundtrack always gives me the faith and the strength to remember that out of all my hardships comes the reward because sometimes the truth isn't enough...sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded....And I know Batman is right on that.
I'm happy they used this same ending music in the first trailerstill gets me every time knowing that this is the end of Nolan's universeBale is still my favorite Batman
"My soul... is as ready to escape as my body." I think 6:48 represented the body of Batman being reborn as Blake And 7:02 represented the relief of Bruce's soul as it leaves Batman Maybe I'm reading too deeply into it, but my God those last two notes were such a chilling way to end the soundtrack
That scene where Alfred sees Bruce and they have those last few seconds of time together, knowing the other one is ok and living a peaceful life still gets me. It’s the perfect ending.
Best of the best soundtracks of a Batman movie... The Christian Bale Trilogie is the absolute best!! R. Patterson is a shame!! A soft egg as Batman... ridiculous!! Michael Keaton was okay, more colorful, funny comic style. But I love the aspects of the Bale Trilogy, the reality behind the possibility of creating a revenge symbol etc... The soundtrack is just epic
For all you Star Wars fans Try this! 1) Jump to 3:53 in this video and pause it. 2) In a second tab search up on youtube "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - Ending - HD 1080p", mute the star wars video and pause it at 0:12. 3) Give a few seconds for the Batman music in this tab to synchronise with the star wars scene and play the Batman music at 3:53 in sync with the star wars video at 0:12 and see how beautifully Hans Zimmer's music capture the emotional depth of the Star Wars trilogy.
I normally wait to see the movie before getting the soundtrack but back in 2012 I I got impatient and bought this score a week before this film’s release. This cue is packed with so much emotion. Great work by Hans Zimmer!
It's not a film by Christopher Nolan, it's a timeless masterpiece created by a brilliant and incredible mortal that will live on forever. The entire trilogy will.
5:15 Amazing how the music can be very melancholy and hopeless but it takes a turn into something hopeful. This was the same theme from the dark knight ending. But it sounds so much more refined in the dark knight rises, you can tell Zimmer has applied some of Inception into the music.
The house and grounds are left to the city of Gotham on condition that they be used for one purpose and one purpose only.. the housing and care of the city’s at risk and orphaned children. The look on Blake’s face when he heard that was awesome
Bryan M that part actually got to me emotionally cause Bruce even tho being a powerful man he still saw the need for those orphans to have a home! Men of power don’t usually do that, and he gave them shelter to grow up in 🙏 moved me to always want to show kindness to those in need
This soundtrack has helped me rise through the most difficult time of my life yet.

Don't let you sink in the dark mess. Your heart the only thing what can to give strength. You need to see the light in your heart and follow it! No need to vanishing your fears just able to beat them. The darkness there will be in you always, in every men. Once you need to know the darkness than you can appreciate the light. You can get to know yourself in the deep. To know who are you. Finally when you climb out from the depth don't be easy because many fights are waiting for you in the world. You need keep your strength, the light in your heart. No need to avoid the falling only keep the strength to climb out. ;)

That was a great interpretation, thanks. May you continue to rise.

What makes it even more sad is that he was talking to bruces parents... look at the scene again
@@coc8648 But let's say Alfred WAS talking to Bruce. Remember what Alfred said to Bruce in Batman Begins? He wasn't going to give up on him, yet in the middle of TDKR, he did. He broke that promise.

The mark of a Chris Nolan masterpiece is a rousing Hans Zimmer final score and a perfectly executed ending sequence. Dunkirk, Inception, and Intersteller come to mind.

The Dark Knight Rises is a wonderful Batman movie and a great ending to The Dark Knight trilogy.
This is one of the greatest superhero movies of all time. It is damn too epic
I really cried at that scene..
Ever notice that the beginning part 0:00 - 0:36 is used in all 3 Dark Knight trilogy?
- In Batman Begins when Batman brought Gordon upstairs while SWAT teams were moving in
- In The Dark Knight when Batman was attempting to bring back Lau from Hong Kong
- In The Dark Knight Rises when Batman was transporting the bomb out to the sky
It's called a motif, these are common through every form of media that uses a soundtrack. Avengers, Halo, etc

As many of us had said, the Dark Knight Trilogy goes deeper in terms of its story than many realize. It’s not just about Batman, it’s about Bruce Wayne having to defeat the Batman and other demons and obstacles.
This is the "focus on your self growth and fuck the worlds bullshit" theme

THERE IS NO NEED FOR REBOOTS OF BATMAN. After this trilogy, can we just agree to move forward with new stories and new adventures rather than rebooting the same origin story over and over.
Nah
Yeah but just the matt reeves one
Agreed S Singh
Yep Zack did it and Matt Reeves one.
The Batman is good, but it can't surpass this Masterpiece.

This movie. this music. symbols of not giving up. never ever.
It motivates me to lift myself up from current bad life situation’ I hope I will rise!
My favorite thing about Hanz Zimmers' pieces for these movies is that I exclusively think of Batman when hearing them. You simply cannot pair them with anything else.

But it sounds so much more refined in the dark knight rises, you can tell Zimmer has applied some of Inception into the music.
of course its Hans Zimmer
We got a batman movie, joker movie, then a bruce wayne movie, perfect batman trilogy
This is the best Batman movie in my opinion. It had a perfect ending in the best trilogy.
