@Cameron Davis Gogeta and Vegito both have knowledge of Goku and Vegeta's techniques, so they both should be able to use Kaioken. They probably haven't because they never felt it was necessary to use that much power, and cause it would drain their time much faster.
Alex Mercer and Cole Macgrath are from the games Prototype and Infamous respectively. They’re both superhero-style games that came out at close to the same time, so there used to be a bit of a rivalry between the two series back around 2009-2012, which is when Death Battle first started. Both series have been dead for years, which is why you’ve never heard about them, but it was a well-requested matchup in the early years of Death Battle, so I guess it’s a “better late than never” kind of deal

Sure,season 8's best was probably better than this season's,but this season doesn't have a single episode I would say I actively dislike, while season 8 had one really bad episode (Blake vs Mikasa) and it had some real banger episode too, like Trunks vs Silver,Excalibur vs Raiden,Omni Man vs Homelander, SpongeBob vs Aquaman, and Sauron vs Lich King. Also, next season has 2 episodes I'm really excited for, even though neither of them were the ones I wanted to the Champions poll (The ones I wanted were Finn and Jake vs Mordecai and Rigby and Spy vs Agent 47) Although, I will admit Cole vs Alex was way more deserving since fans have been asking since season 1.
For next time, both Bill Cipher vs. Discord and Alex Mercer Vs Cole MacGrath are requested battles that have been a thing that people wanted for awhile, I am glad that they are finally now doing them, with the champion thing they are doing where they can request a match, and those two are great match ups to start the new season for, at least to me, as for much much I have seen them

@@N_o196 Jason vs Michael wasn't bad in my opinion, it just didn't live up to expectations. They went for something very hard to pull off but just missed the mark. Hopefully if and when they bring in other horror characters they can refine this and do it right. Can you imagine how sick it would be to see them get the true presence of someone like Freddy Krueger down in an episode?

Well if I have to say anything, this was a really good finale and I really like how the Dragon Ball FighterZ models worked for this one since this technically would be the first time that we've seen 3D models from Arc System Works since they helped Bandai Namco with that fighting game, so it was in the style with the more recent Guilty Gear games. So I guess I should tell you where Cole and Alex are from, Cole MacGrath is from the inFamous series, a video game franchise that is mainly exclusive to Sony's PlayStation consoles and I say that since last time we saw a PlayStation character was back when Season 4 started with Nathan Drake from Uncharted whereas Alex Mercer is from the Prototype series from Activision Blizzard but yeah, this has been a really popular request since the show started in terms of video game matchups like hell, Alex almost fought Carnage before the latter fought Lucy. So yeah, it has been one that people have been wanting since the very beginning. So with that said, see ya for your reaction to Hercules VS Sun Wukong.
Yeah I get it in the shippuden fight the clones were at the same level each of the group was when they removed the seal. The overall message they made with it was to be 'better than yesterday' but all I thought was to just switch opponents! 😂😂
To be fair about the Dance vs the Earrings for Zamasu, Zamasu is a Kai, the people who made the Earrings, where as the Dance is a technique that was created by a specific race so you would need to be taught it.

There might be a few reasons why Gogeta switched to Blue mid-fight. While it is reasonable, like they said, to scale SSJ4 and Blue as equals in power, there are inherent differences in some of the more minor aspects. SSJ4 is not as easy to control as it increases aggression to an insanely great degree and the tail is a classic sayian weak spot and just a good grapple point in general. Also, Blue uses God Ki as opposed to regular ki, which is supposed to be more potent and powerful. That could mean that they don't need to use as much energy to deal the same about of damage as SSJ4. I'm not sure if after getting god ki, Goku and Vegeta are always using it or if it's only used in their God forms.

Though it is true with gt's scaling that final clash was really close , Goku tore through Omega shenron with dragon fist even after him being 10+ times more powerful than Goku , it was do or die if that punch connected Vegito would've been decimated cuz he can't regenerate .

Gogeta being slightly weaker I feel is just their interpretation of how the fusion works. I always thought you just have to match in order to fuse, but when they are fused, "they're potential is brought out to it's maximum!" Or whatever it was. Either way, very close and cool fight. I like Gogeta better, mainly because of his look and the Broly movie, so it's sad that he lost.
Essentially both fusions are superior than the sum of their parts, but for Gogeta, it’s the sum of two of whoever is the weakest link, whereas Vegito lets the stronger one use all their power

Yeah, I also think the melee combat in 3D fights is just... not good. They just don't really sell their attacks, not much exaggerated movements, not enough leaning into big attacks, the close combat fun just isn't there. 😟
@@AceLeader101 Yeah but those are also smaller scale. Snake vs Sam in particular is just Two Dudes. Granted they're like peak possible skill, and Snake has some superhuman durability insofar as that microwave feat, but as far as their power output, they're within human limits. So no breaking dimensions or even buildings on their own.
@@AceLeader101 I've been a DB-Fan since a decade, and fights like Snake VS Sam or Raiden VS Wolverine are the reason why the hand to hand combat in recent seasons seems so notably lackluster to me.
@BJGvideos I don't think you understand the level of choreography required to animate "just two dudes fighting" Especially considering the shit they pull in the fights. The whole breaking dimensions and flying and shooting is easier to animate then actual combat. The sword play in wolv vs raiden for example is actually immaculate compared to anything in recent years.
This fight was pretty redundant and their reasoning for Vegetto being more powerful doesn’t quite hold up, while the fusion dance does require both to match power levels there is no confirmation that it impacts the power of the resulting fusion, also even if it did both Goku and Vegeta are equal in power to the point that matching power levels is a non-issue when fusion. Ultimately this fight is a stalemate, which should be obvious since they’re the same character.
@@Ris_Grestar don’t get me wrong Vegito’s longer time limit will always give him an edge but in terms of power they would be equal. It mostly comes down to how you interpret the fusion dance, Death Battle came to the conclusion that matching power levels will impact the fusions strength despite there being no evidence within the series for that being the case and even if that was the case since learning the dance Goku and Vegeta have been so close in strength they never actually had to match power levels.
Unfortunately Gogeta would stomp Omnimon, I like Omnimon more since he’s part of my childhood, but Dragon ball is basically in a tier of their own in terms of power.

Blue would be a lot stronger than 4 if it was just Super vs GT, yeah. Gogeta's analysis mentions that it's purely because of the Dragon Ball Heroes stuff that this Gogeta had the two forms at equal power.
They were referring to Blue Evolution and Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker. The base Super Saiyan Blue is still stronger than the base Super Saiyan 4.
Idk the 4 multiplier isn't really known , the lowest is 40,000x base but maybe it can be higher if we go into more detail with the powerscaling of gt . But if it was super vs gt then they'd also have gt versions of Goku and Vegeta so Gogeta would win

Just like with Megaman.exe, it's hard to scale sensibly since the whole "digital universe" thing is more nebulous than the Oort Cloud, but it should go well beyond planet, and it's not unreasonable to scale him to Gogeta's level, given how they scaled Megaman.exe.
Omega Shenron was going to destroy the universe over time by existing. SSG Goku and Beerus were going to annihilate the dragon ball macrocosm by punching each other. SSJ4 isn't comparable to blue.

@@Adum By beam clashing and punching both. In relative powerscaling to dbz characters both Ssjg Goku and Baby Vegeta ssj2 have been implied to be stronger than dbz Vegito . Death battle only had the transformation not GT version of the character . Omega was doing that just by existing , that ability was from the first dragon Goku encountered amplified to universal scale with Omega , his strongest and original attack is negative karma ball which uses the negative energy from all dragon balls and its full power isn't stated so it can only be estimated by implied scaling throughout the series .

I think the issue is that MasakoX tries to sound more like how Goku sounds in Japanese. Not specifically an impression of his voice there, which is weird and raspy, but insofar as the concept of how he's sounded the same since he was a child.
I think it's fine Vegito wins, however I think logically Gogeta should win here most of the time, for two related reasons. First, I see the fusions as being slightly dominant of one of the two people fusing. Gogeta is named with Goku first and more like Goku in appearance of hair style and personality. Thus Gogeta is a Goku dominant fusion of the two. However Vegito is more of a Vegeta dominant fusion of the two. Named with Vegeta first, and more like Vegeta in appearance with the hairstyle and gloves and personality. The second reason plays off the first. If Vegito is a Vegeta dominant fusion of the two, there's two reasons he should lose to Gogeta. One, and sorry Vegeta fans, but this has always been true, Vegeta is slightly less powerful than Goku, so even tho Goku might have to lower his level to Vegetas for fusion dance, a Goku dominant fusion should be slightly more powerful than a Vegeta dominant fusion. Two, Vegeta has always had evil in him. Even a little bit, a Vegeta dominant fusion would have slightly more evil than a Goku dominant fusion, meaning Gogeta's Stardust attacks should give him the upper hand.
It’s worth noting that sometimes (like 99% of the time) death battle doesn’t have the right research like they said that vegito was stronger because it was stated by more resources but in the official V-Jump of the super broly movie it was stated they were evenly matched
They didn't say Vegito was stronger because of that , they just said Vegito being stronger or superior was mentioned in some of the guides before . They also mentioned hew Gogeta was stated to be stronger in a shorter fight in one of those .
The result of this fight is incorrect because we see gogeta using dragon fist at the end. And if you watched GT (which most of you didn't) dragon fist is able to kill people stronger than goku. He one shots everyone with it even if they're stronger. So vegetto should've still lost.

@@N_o196 Jason vs Michael wasn't bad in my opinion, it just didn't live up to expectations. They went for something very hard to pull off but just missed the mark. Hopefully if and when they bring in other horror characters they can refine this and do it right. Can you imagine how sick it would be to see them get the true presence of someone like Freddy Krueger down in an episode?

Well if I have to say anything, this was a really good finale and I really like how the Dragon Ball FighterZ models worked for this one since this technically would be the first time that we've seen 3D models from Arc System Works since they helped Bandai Namco with that fighting game, so it was in the style with the more recent Guilty Gear games.
So I guess I should tell you where Cole and Alex are from, Cole MacGrath is from the inFamous series, a video game franchise that is mainly exclusive to Sony's PlayStation consoles and I say that since last time we saw a PlayStation character was back when Season 4 started with Nathan Drake from Uncharted whereas Alex Mercer is from the Prototype series from Activision Blizzard but yeah, this has been a really popular request since the show started in terms of video game matchups like hell, Alex almost fought Carnage before the latter fought Lucy. So yeah, it has been one that people have been wanting since the very beginning.

To be fair about the Dance vs the Earrings for Zamasu, Zamasu is a Kai, the people who made the Earrings, where as the Dance is a technique that was created by a specific race so you would need to be taught it.

There might be a few reasons why Gogeta switched to Blue mid-fight. While it is reasonable, like they said, to scale SSJ4 and Blue as equals in power, there are inherent differences in some of the more minor aspects. SSJ4 is not as easy to control as it increases aggression to an insanely great degree and the tail is a classic sayian weak spot and just a good grapple point in general. Also, Blue uses God Ki as opposed to regular ki, which is supposed to be more potent and powerful. That could mean that they don't need to use as much energy to deal the same about of damage as SSJ4. I'm not sure if after getting god ki, Goku and Vegeta are always using it or if it's only used in their God forms.

Gogeta being slightly weaker I feel is just their interpretation of how the fusion works. I always thought you just have to match in order to fuse, but when they are fused, "they're potential is brought out to it's maximum!" Or whatever it was. Either way, very close and cool fight. I like Gogeta better, mainly because of his look and the Broly movie, so it's sad that he lost.

not enough leaning into big attacks, the close combat fun just isn't there. 😟
Go check out some of their older ones like snake vs Fischer or especially raiden vs wolverine. Now those are some good ass fight scenes
@@AceLeader101 Yeah but those are also smaller scale. Snake vs Sam in particular is just Two Dudes. Granted they're like peak possible skill, and Snake has some superhuman durability insofar as that microwave feat, but as far as their power output, they're within human limits. So no breaking dimensions or even buildings on their own.
@@AceLeader101 I've been a DB-Fan since a decade, and fights like Snake VS Sam or Raiden VS Wolverine are the reason why the hand to hand combat in recent seasons seems so notably lackluster to me.

The whole breaking dimensions and flying and shooting is easier to animate then actual combat. The sword play in wolv vs raiden for example is actually immaculate compared to anything in recent years.

The music for the fight went so hard.
This fight was pretty redundant and their reasoning for Vegetto being more powerful doesn’t quite hold up, while the fusion dance does require both to match power levels there is no confirmation that it impacts the power of the resulting fusion, also even if it did both Goku and Vegeta are equal in power to the point that matching power levels is a non-issue when fusion.
Ultimately this fight is a stalemate, which should be obvious since they’re the same character.
I mean, this is better reasoning than most contrary comments give, but it still has less supporting evidence than what Death Battle provided.

It mostly comes down to how you interpret the fusion dance, Death Battle came to the conclusion that matching power levels will impact the fusions strength despite there being no evidence within the series for that being the case and even if that was the case since learning the dance Goku and Vegeta have been so close in strength they never actually had to match power levels.
I still hope we can see Omegamon (Omnimon outside of Japan) vs Gogeta someday.

Blue would be a lot stronger than 4 if it was just Super vs GT, yeah. Gogeta's analysis mentions that it's purely because of the Dragon Ball Heroes stuff that this Gogeta had the two forms at equal power.
They were referring to Blue Evolution and Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker. The base Super Saiyan Blue is still stronger than the base Super Saiyan 4.

Just like with Megaman.exe, it's hard to scale sensibly since the whole "digital universe" thing is more nebulous than the Oort Cloud, but it should go well beyond planet, and it's not unreasonable to scale him to Gogeta's level, given how they scaled Megaman.exe.

Omega was doing that just by existing , that ability was from the first dragon Goku encountered amplified to universal scale with Omega , his strongest and original attack is negative karma ball which uses the negative energy from all dragon balls and its full power isn't stated so it can only be estimated by implied scaling throughout the series .

I think the issue is that MasakoX tries to sound more like how Goku sounds in Japanese. Not specifically an impression of his voice there, which is weird and raspy, but insofar as the concept of how he's sounded the same since he was a child.

I think it's fine Vegito wins, however I think logically Gogeta should win here most of the time, for two related reasons. First, I see the fusions as being slightly dominant of one of the two people fusing. Gogeta is named with Goku first and more like Goku in appearance of hair style and personality. Thus Gogeta is a Goku dominant fusion of the two. However Vegito is more of a Vegeta dominant fusion of the two. Named with Vegeta first, and more like Vegeta in appearance with the hairstyle and gloves and personality. The second reason plays off the first. If Vegito is a Vegeta dominant fusion of the two, there's two reasons he should lose to Gogeta. One, and sorry Vegeta fans, but this has always been true, Vegeta is slightly less powerful than Goku, so even tho Goku might have to lower his level to Vegetas for fusion dance, a Goku dominant fusion should be slightly more powerful than a Vegeta dominant fusion. Two, Vegeta has always had evil in him. Even a little bit, a Vegeta dominant fusion would have slightly more evil than a Goku dominant fusion, meaning Gogeta's Stardust attacks should give him the upper hand.
It’s worth noting that sometimes (like 99% of the time) death battle doesn’t have the right research like they said that vegito was stronger because it was stated by more resources but in the official V-Jump of the super broly movie it was stated they were evenly matched
They didn't say Vegito was stronger because of that , they just said Vegito being stronger or superior was mentioned in some of the guides before . They also mentioned hew Gogeta was stated to be stronger in a shorter fight in one of those .
Vegito is the goat and the strongest, vegito is better and stronger than gogeta.
The result of this fight is incorrect because we see gogeta using dragon fist at the end. And if you watched GT (which most of you didn't) dragon fist is able to kill people stronger than goku. He one shots everyone with it even if they're stronger. So vegetto should've still lost.
