She and Fr Mike are truly gifted speakers. I hope they help to bring many young adults back into the church. As an older adult at 58, I can still take so much away from this. Little reminders here and there, about my vocation choice 38 years ago to marry my husband and have a family, have helped me to realize where I am lacking, and when she told the story about the woman looking at her spouse and seeing Jesus, made me think, wow, the bickering, and little things, we do that don’t show that love of Jesus to our spouse was a big wake up call. My husband just retired about 6 months ago and relearning how to wake up together and how testy we are in the mornings, etc. I don’t know what I would do without him or Jesus. I need them both. He is out shopping and when he comes home he’s getting a huge hug from me. Thank you Sr Bethany Madonna. This was a slap in the face I needed at that moment. It is so easy to take advantage of the people we love most in the world without even realizing we are doing it. Next time I look at my husband I will look for Jesus. God bless you.
Remember, he is called to ensure you return to heaven, and in return, you ensure he returns to heaven. I'm learning so much about Catholic life. I am not married, so every morning I wake up early and though I am like .. ugh, I still say "morning Jesus". :)

They both are amazing! I had the privilege of going to one of her talks and that’s what helped my fully realize my vocation. The sisters of life have greatly impacted my life and the lives of several of my friends. Fr. Mike also has done a lot for us although none of us have met him. There is a whole group from my parish who have been through high school together and are now young adults who have a community of other young Catholics on fire! It’s amazing!

I had the privilege of meeting Sr. Bethany Madonna at the Eucharist Congress in Birmingham, Alabama. She is life changing in the way that she instills hope and value in every unique person. She is definitely inspired by the Holy Spirit. She gives a glimpse of the immense love God has for us. We have to feel love to love others. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This is amazing. Lately I’ve been wondering about my vocation, as I’ve always thought I was supposed to be a nun and that it’s almost my duty to become one but now I’m starting to realize that whatever God wants for me is what I need to do, whether that be married life, or consecrated life, or just single life.

I so much enjoy listening to her I listen to her in the morning when I'm getting ready for work in the afternoon when I'm feeding my patient and in the evening when I fall asleep and this is between all my prayers. She makes it so easy for me to understand the Bible and she's so funny. She is very good speech as well

Jay Broughton far more children get raped/abused in public schools and even more from family members. At least the Catholic Church put practices into place to prevent abuse from happening

@@melissafeds1344 they pick a new name when entering religious life. Their legal name remains the same. Diocesan priests keep their birth name but priests who join an order such as the Dominicans pick new religious names! For some religious, it might contain part of their baptismal name but many times it doesnt

All Jesus is, are spiritual gifts. Gifts that are not potent. They are lacking. Man aspires for big things. Bigger than he has given. Not only this, Jesus helps nobody with this world we live in the flesh. His churches are poor making beggars out of so many. Even love, joy, pleasantness must be wrestled from the grips of his progeny on earth where they dwell.

Do you think they could have benefited from some Theology and advise from a priest in confession. The judgement is focused on how you treated your neighbor not on how well you use scripture to stay alive. Not even the hardest atheist communist secret police respected biblical Christians who kneeled using scripture, they did respect the religious prisoners who was tortured and refused to reject Christ. 96% of the religious prisoners in Dachau was Catholics not biblical Christians.
