- I was pretty close to giving up by the middle of stage 4, but I'm glad I didn't.
Completely unexpected.
Just to clarify, the ultra patch comes with automatic deathbomb enabled, so almost none of the deathbombs you see are actually done manually. This feature is present in all ultra patches.

People mainly play on Ultra patch for the challenge. You don't accept a challenge just so you can do it the easy way...
Silver Nightray ofc people do it for challenges, i watched few of his videos, there is a lot of details people cheese from lunatic 1cc pass to LNNN, he didn't do it. probably this is the definition of "pro" XD

My best guess is all stages in one go.
It's actually playing through the game with an Ultra patch that increases bullet amount, speed, or even both. It's meant to be the ultimate challenge for Touhou players. But on a game like SA, it's really hard.
