Just got my prince Albert done this past Friday, first piercing I've ever had in my life, I'm 47. It wasn't bad at all, I was very nervous, but all I felt was a slight pinch for a second, then it was done! I know everyone responds to the thought of something being painful differently, but it was no problem for me. Very little discomfort. It did bleed quite a bit the first two days, but by late afternoon of the second day, it had completely stopped and looked great! My wife recommended that I wear a pad because I went through two pairs of underwear with blood. So I through a females pad in my underwear, and it worked amazingly well! Sure, it felt weird as hell walking around with a pad on, but hey, nobody knew but me and the wife. I will try to keep anyone interested up to date with my healing. Great video, thank you for educating people on this.
Congratulations on your new piercing!!! And thank you for sharing your experience.
Hey! Congrats on your first ever piercing. How has the healing process been? And how did the piercing influenced your sex life?
Contrats! I got mine in my 40s as well and have had it for about 18 years now. You've probably found out by now learning to pee without it messing your pants is a beast. I did sit for a while but changed to a circle barbell and have no issues.
I'm 39 and I want to get one. I'm so nervous about it though. I've had my tongue and nipples pierced but this idea seems more nerve racking.
It think you are going to find the pain less than your nipples and it will be an easier heal than your tongue.
I got mine when I was 19, I am 28 years old now. I’ve always been curious about piercings, and I really like them on women. One day I spontaneously decided to do it. I think it was more like a challenge internally, going through something physically painful. No regrets whatsoever. Got pierced with 10g, and stretched up to 00g within 5 years or so. I don’t have tattoos or piercings other than my nipples (also spontaneous). I work in a client-facing wealth management role, and it’s such a great feeling knowing I have a secret down there. Every girl I met in college was fascinated by it. Women you would NOT think would be interested. Think daddy’s girl, conservative types. Even better, my wife absolutely loves it and it feels great for the both of us. She’s my age, and has her PhD and works in tech. Ever since she found out I had one, she got pierced down there in various places. Jedi in the streets, Sith in the sheets 😏
Thank you for sharing your experiences and for watching the video.
i’m getting the piercing at 19 in a couple days :)
Bro said “Jedi in the streets, Sith in the sheets”
😭💀
I love the way you describe this process with informative details and clear concise warnings about potential dangers *double thumbs up*
Thank you very much and I'm always happy to hear that viewers find our videos informative. Thank you for watching. DaVo
This was the last video I watched before getting my PA. I was on the fence for over a year. I especially liked the honesty about the drawbacks coming from someone who has to deal with them themselves. I'm on day 4 of healing and everything you said is spot on!
I watched this video 2 & 1/2 years ago and it was very informative. It helped me decide to get the PA and I am happy I got it. I got pierced at a 14g but I'm now at a 6g. This was my first piercing and probably is my favorite out of the seven that I have. If any of my friends were thinking about getting a PA I would definitely recommend this video.
Glad this video was helpful and a part of your piercing journey. Thank you for watching.
I’m a good bit older than you, and I appreciate your well rounded knowledge. I got my PA at 40, I’m now 62 and wear a 00g circular barbell. I enjoy the weight, and my former gf loved it enough that she took an outgrown ring and pierced one of her toys. No regrets.
Thank you for sharing your experience and watching.
I'd like mention that the quality of speech and presentation is fantastic - definitely a reference!
I just got my Prince Albert today, and thanks to this video and PiercingsWithScott's video, I knew just what to expect, came prepared with boxer briefs (which I don't usually wear at all), and took it like a champ! The piercer said I was one of the best behaved guys he ever had the pleasure of doing a PA on, and I'm glad that his apprentice got to watch and learn a thing or too, as well! Plus my girlfriend and best friend were in the room cracking wise, which really made it a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much for explaining very clearly and professionally what to expect! Much love!
You are welcome. I always try to make it clear that regardless of the piercing at the heart of it, it should be fun. It's one of the things I've been trying to teach my apprentice. I'm happy to hear that you had a great experience. Thank you for sharing your experience and congratulations on your new piercing.
you had 4 people in the room as you got your penis pierced? why..
I just got my Reverse Prince Albert done this morning. I wasn’t nervous, I wasn’t scared. In all honesty, it wasn’t that bad. However, I’m bleeding like a stuck pig. The piercer did say that I would bleed like this for a couple days. However, I do love the look. This is my first ever piercing and I’m going to be 52 in April. The piercer did say a good nine months to heal completely!
Very impressed, straight to the point and alot of information very clearly laid out.
Thank you and I'm glad you found the video informative and to the point. Thank you for watching.
Didn't know how much it was going to bleed, and it spooked me good. Ended having to wrap it up in *alot* of gauze. But it did heal quite quick, and the itchy phase has arrived, so I always have to be careful when I'm in public.
I have no intention of getting this peircing but I loved the description, you were thorough and very original, love the vibe man 👊🏿👊🏿
You talked me into getting mine I've been wanting one for years but too much of a puss. I am so happy I finally did it
How bad is it I had my frenum done before but not pa
I just got my 2nd frenum piercing the other day, and my piercer asked me if I had ever thought of a PA. My initial thoughts were f**k no, and told her my concerns. She and I had a pretty in depth conversation about it. Ever since then, I've become intrigued by the thought of getting it done. You gave me the best insight on the PA and everything surrounding it. I thank you, and will continue watching and learning from your videos!
I’ve got a pa piercing as well. I barely felt any pain whatsoever. I used a pad for the bleeding. Mine didn’t bleed very much though, and I wore boxer briefs all day at my factory job. I’ve had it just over a year, and I’m still in love with it. I love the feeling during sex too personally. I also just went a size larger recently, as it healed so well, and the ring left plenty of room for a bigger gauge. Don’t be intimidated by this piercing. It’s simple and satisfying. Also, great video.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
@DSGstove can you help explain me about the bleeding ? how bad is it? does it continues drooping all day long for the 1st or 2nd day?
Pontianak Notebook everybody is going to bleed differently. Mine bled for only a few minutes. Yours could bleed for a couple of days, but usually not more than a week at the absolute max worse case scenario. Expect it to stop sooner than that though. And it’s not going to be a huge blood soaked mess unless you let it get like that through some traumatic experience. Just take it easy, wear a pad, and keep it clean and you’ll be fine.
Got my 8g PA 2 months ago, so far im loving it. Just wanted to say thanks! your video was very helpful in laying alot of my fears to rest. So again, thank you for all your work making the videos.
You are welcome, I'm glad you found the video helpful and thank you for watching.
I’m getting my reverse Prince Albert this Saturday morning! I’m 51 and excited as all hell!! I just love the look of the RPA! Watching this and reading the comments has been very relaxing!
Glad to help, good luck and let us know how it turns out.
Love my PA,was pierced at 8 ga and now at 2 ga. My strectched pretty easy and fast with the weigh of the jewelry only! 9 months to get to the 2 ga planning on going to 00 ga. If thinking of one the PA is a great one to start with!
Thank you for sharing your experience and watching.
Thank you for the good info. I may be able to make my way over there someday. Will give you a call when I'm ready!
Glad you found the video helpful and as I always say, you will know when the time is right.
Unrelated but I love the way the hoops on your left ear look. 🙂
Anyway, I got a Prince Albert years ago. I started out wearing jeans after the piercing and everything was fine but eventually switched to polyester work pants. I don't know why, but eventually it migrated to the surface of the skin and "healed out". 😥
Thank you. I just always like the look of the rings.
I'm not sure what happened but I don't think the wardrobe change was the cause. Unless it added additional pressure on the piercing. Usually PA piercings do not reject. Some of the causes could be incorrect placement, trauma to the piercing and / or incorrect jewelry.
I like to use plastic, lighter jewelry when going up a size. Recently figured out it's way more comfortable and heals a little faster. Great vid man!!
I really don't suggest plastic jewelry. Titanium is by far a better option.
Awesome video!! Very informative and answered questions i had!! I get mine done next month at Infinite body piercing in Philly!!
Glad you found the video helpful. So how was the piercing?
I'm a female with numerous piercings...and some in the southern hemisphere. I can relate to this video!
Enjoy your channel!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. The plan is to cover all the piercing I offer and then maybe a few I don't.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing My piercer says Iowa is a mecca for piercing. Who'd a thunk it? I've got a great piercer--she has little models of the male anatomy in her studio for reference and to show potential clients.
@@extractdigit I've heard Iowa called a lot of thing but not that. I'd like to think of that's the case I had something to do with it.
When I started piercing there was one other person piercing professionally in the state that I knew of. The other one a self taught tattoo artist that had learned from the old gauntlet videos.
Like the saying goes, the pioneers get the arrows and the settlers get the land, it was a struggle at times but it has given me so much over the years. I really wouldn't trade it for anything and I'm happy to see something I was seeking out 25 years ago and everyone told me it wouldn't work here doing so well.
Where are you from?

I got my PA 30 years ago, my piercer started me of at 0.8mm and it streched on his own to a comfortable 6mm.I have changed my jewellery now to a Princes wand and loving it. Over the years I added some more like a pubic which unfortunately did grow out. Then a scrotum and a nipple ring. The pubic was the worst, I went through the roof when that needle went through, followed by the nipple.
How comfortable is the wand and has it reduced the urine spray? I've had mixed results from clients.
Yes, the pubic has a very high rejection rate. Thank you for sharing your experiences and watching.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing The wand is not for permanent wear I think. After 2 days I had that burning sensation and removed it. The spray is worse as me hole underneath is 6mm and the wand is not as big. I was also considering the risk of infections as fluid and cum get trapped in the tube. The other negative thing is just after 2 days my hole underneath got tighter already.
I think I stick to my PA after all.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing I think it was my mistake as I kept on changing the jewellery to soon to often.
I would suggest cleaning and disinfecting or sterilizing the wand between uses. Whenever putting something that far into the urethra, there is always the risk of getting a urinary track infection.
Is the discomfort from movement or is it just the length?
I'm guessing that you really need to have them custom made to fit you. I don't think there are many manufacturers that still do that.
Awesome info, very informative and thorough, getting mine done next week, this vid helped a lot.
Mine is scheduled for the 1st! Can’t wait! Also, GREAT video. You’re awesome.
How’d it go?
@@miketall7086 Great! Just as expected.
@@kylec5064 wonderful. I’m sure your enjoying it. How’s the healing going? Thinking about adding more?
Great video and as a result I got my PA done two weeks ago. It was like a nano-second of pain when the needle went through. Seems to be healing well. Glad I came across this video. I do have one question...once it's fully healed can I do my urethral sounding with it in or do I need to remove the piercing? Thanks!!!
Thanks for the educational video, quite informative.
You are welcome and thank you for watching.
I've had mine for 10+ years, I forgot about the bleeding, yeah it bleeds a LOT, and sex was over for a month- too painful. Other than not being able to pee standing up i love having a PA.
Yes sometimes they do bleed a bit. Congratulations on the new PA, thank you for watching and sharing.
Im gathering as much info as I can. Im already determined to get mine. My main concern is the pain and infection risk. Not so much STD’s but normal flora that can reach the wound and cause localized infection. Specially Staph.
I wanted to know, how one should prepare the area the day we get the PA?
Is betadine recommended during the first week to keep the area as sterilized as possible?
How about trimming or shaving prior to getting pierced?
Also, what questions should be asked to the piercer to make sure he or she is knowledgeable about the procedure ?
I have yet to come across any connection to Prince Albert Piercings and a flora infection. If you were prone to them or exposed to them, there should be little difference if you are pierced or not pierced. Of course, it is always best to avoid any situation that might increase the risk of exposure. Also avoid over cleaning that may lead to an imbalance in the level of healthy microorganism in the urethra.
I would suggest that if you have an active sexual partner that you share some "quality" time together in the days leading up to the piercing. Have a healthy nice meal before coming in. Wear clothing that you are not worried about staining that or offer support, are comfortable and easy to remove. Buy and bring to the piercing sanitary napkins or pads. Of course be clean and bathed. I'm often asked if shaving is needed and for the most part hair is not an issue in with this piercing. If your piercer doesn't sell Sterile Saline Spray, buy it ahead of time. Lastly if you can, try to make sure that you have a day or two off from work and walking.
No I do not suggest any type of antiseptic or surgical scrub. It is completely not needed, too harsh, could cause a bacterial imbalance and prolong healing.
The piercer should start with a consultation that covers about aftercare, healing, risks, and lifestyle changes. Asks lots of questions about their experience with the piercing and their methods of sterilization and processing of tools and jewelry.
I'm going this weekend to get this piercing. Thanks for all the information
You're welcome and I'm glad you found the video helpful. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing it's turned out really well. I bled for a few days after, but all in all I'm very happy with it
Congratulations on your new piercing and thank you for sharing your experience.
@walker jfs hurt like hell for all of 10 seconds. After it was done and in place just bleed for a bit.
@walker jfs not much has really changed. It's a bit uncomfortable at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. The cleaning isn't bad either.
Hey! Excellent video - you answered questions I didn't know I had. One remaining one: I'm an experienced chastity wearer, and I want to take it to the next level by getting a cage that requires a PA to prevent pulling out. Anything unique about that I should consider? Thanks for the video!
I'm happy to hear that you found the video helpful.
I have had clients that have used chastity devices with PA and frenum piercings. My main concern is what materials these devices are made of. I've done some research when asked about them in the past and have to say that the manufacturer are not very forth coming about what grade the alloys and plastics are. So, if you have a sensitivity to metals or plastics, I wouldn't advise it. If you are unsure, I would suggest only short term wear and monitor the piercing area for signs of a reaction.
The other issue with material is corrosion and poor finish. The device will be coming in contact with urine and other bodily fluids. If the material corrodes, it could begin to be absorbed into the body. This could pose a health risk.
Lastly there will be stress on the piercing that could damage the piercing. I would suggest that the piercing is well healed and stretched to at least 6g before trying to wear one. If the piercing becomes sore or there is discomfort at the piercing site, the device should be removed asap.
I hope this helps. I'm basically go off what little information I've been able to find and the input of a few clients. Like many things if a sexual nature, especially those involving bdsm, there is very little information out there and often it's more about the experience and sensation than the safety. I'm sure at some point one of that better jewelry manufactures will come out with something or already has. The problem is the stigma of these types of products.
Did you get a PA? If so how’s it going? What cage have you integrated the PA with?
Fantastic vid!!!!!! Fully of amazing information 😉😉
I'm glad to hear that you found the video informative and thank you for watching.
Best video explanation I’ve seen 👍🏻
Thank you and I'm glad you found the video helpful. Thank you for watching.
I’ve had my Prince Albert for 20+ years now and found myself nodding at every item, pro and con. The urination issue-a permanent 90° splitfire, whether the piercing is in or out-was one I had not considered prior, so do give that some thought if you’re considering a PA. If I’m outside or at a urinal I end up twisting my member 180° on the long axis to avoid peeing all over myself (but still end up with the occasional unpredictable stream) and pretty much always sit for toilets. I assume this is the common remedy? I have also never stretched and moved up from the 10-12 gauge ring I was pierced with and the slight natural stretching that has occurred since means that my ring’s capture will often rotate up into the urethra, which can get pretty uncomfortable. Aside from nicer aesthetics, I’m hoping that a thicker ring will alleviate that problem, so I’m now looking to go that way. Is there a preferred stretching method you could recommend for a PA? Thanks for the informative videos...you’ve got a new subscriber. 👍🏻
Yes, I also use the twist method when there is no sitting option.
With PA and stretching, dead stretching seems to work best. Give it enough time and the next gauge will easily slide in. If not give it more time. Taper pins can be helpful in decking if it's ready or not and for guiding the jewelry in.
A hint on the ball issue, try a larger ball. Understand this will add more weight but it will help with avoiding the ball finding its way into the urethra.
Great video! Best one out there!
Thank you and thank you for watching.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing After five years of wanting to get one and then finaly seeing your video I went out and did it. Zero regrets! No swelling or bruising. I bled allot the first day but that has stopped. And it hurt less than my septum. Thank you thank you thank you for the great video!!!
Congratulations on your new piercing and thank you for sharing your experience.
Very informative, thanks a lot 👌
You're welcome and I'm glad you found the video helpful.
Are PA’s permanent? If I don’t like it and want to remove it will it ever heal completely so it’s like it never happened? What’s the standard starting gauge for a PA? Pros and cons of higher/lower starting gauges?
I am thinking about getting this done. Your video is awesome and informative.
Thank you and I'm happy to hear that you found the video helpful. If you end up getting the piercing, please let us know how it turns out.
I will.
Can you get a PA on an uncircumcised guy?
How does that work?
Like most things with piercings it comes down to anatomy and if you have enough room under the foreskin for the jewelry. I have done a number of them and they had no additional issues.
I’m circumcised, but still have part of my frenulum. So what the piercer did was pierce very slightly to the side of the piercing as to not directly pierce the frenulum.
So you say you now urinate most of the time sitting down, how would you urinate out in the wild if you were in the middle of a forest and really had to go? Would you be squatting or would it be ok to stand as you dont need to aim? Great video btw, looking to get a PA myself. Just nervous about dropping my shorts in the store!
Usually twisting so the piercing is on the top will reduce some of the mess.
Watched this after I got both of my nipples pierced yesterday and they didn't really hurt that bad. I had innies and I know male nipples are notoriously sensitive already.
Definitely made me think I could handle this in the future for sure.
Welp! I'm scheduled for tomorrow. Terrified but excited!
I came her to find out what it was and I really did kinda become a little queasy. You explained the pros and cons really well though I enjoyed the video.
Well you are now more educated on this piercing. Thank you for your kind words and for watching.
About sizes- from my gathering there are a few approaching to stretching. Say I want a 8g,what's the difference between 1) piercing at 8g, 2)piercing at 10g and having the piercer immediately stretch it to 8g, or 3) piercing at 10g, letting it heal completely and then stretching to 8g?
Never do the immediate stretch. It will cause massive trauma and damage. If your is 8g, pierce at 8g.
Hi, did it myself, held a ring thight from inside pushed it so I held a iron nail red hot against it and it popped trough, not more then a couple of hours healing . and the hole did not get bigger by itself and never leaked .
Sounds extremely painful. The healing took a lot longer than you think and you are lucky it didn't cause an issue. If it isn't loosening up, it may not have healed completely.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Places like this heal faster then elsewere its like in the mouth and such and wounds can be cleaned / healed by burn , pain just one pin burn no trouble ,
The burn may in fact have caused additional trauma. There is also this misconception that things that have been heated up, are "sterile". The reality is there are microorganisms that can survive. Also depending on the fuel used, it can contaminate the wound and at worst can be toxic.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing OK you won,you can kill al bad things probaly, there are ppl who get decorative burn marks they first put disinfectives just like I did, I just put one side of a 1.5mm ring inside of the barrel of the custard gun and held it were it was wanted to come trough and not one drop of blood and when I had a 7mm in and change it for smaller it closes right back,
Hears the thong bleeding isn't a bad thing. It is only an issue if it won't stop.
Awesome video topic DaVo👍🏽
Thank you and I'm glad you found it helpful.
I'm a grower, which is more optimal? PA or Reverse PA?
I think you are going to find the traditional PA more comfortable. Just make sure to mention it to your piercer and go with a slightly larger width ring.
My question is how normal is it for a piercer to charge a deposit for any piercing you may want prior to getting pierced. Is that normal or should the schedule appointment should be free?
Deposits are a normal thing and the deposit should go towards the overall cost of the piercing.
For years I took appointments without a deposit, then demand just got to a point where I had to start requiring them. Nothing is worse than turning away and disappointing clients because someone has booked an appointment and then doesn't show up. I had people booking up 3 or 4 hour blocks for them and their friends weeks in advance. Then finding another studio they could get into sooner and not bothering to cancel their appointment with us.
A deposit is a way of committing to showing up for your appointment. If you don't show up, you forfeit the deposit but asking any piercer or tattooist and they will tell you, we would much rather have you show up than get your deposit for sitting around doing nothing.
A lot of my clients also like the option to pay in full in advance.
Just my 2 cents.
Mine was pierced at 12G and then jewelry was 10G.
It's possible to use a urinal, the trick is too twist your penis so the piercing is facing up to avoid the effects of peeing on a metal circle.
I found that as I went up in size it became more comfortable. 10G and 8G I often had a pinching sensation. Not a problem it 6G and 4G.
I really like the matter-of-fact discussion here. My piercer did this too and it made the event much more comfortable.
Great video
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have been thinking about this piercing for years… however, I would like to avoid stretching as much as possible. I know it will naturally happen, but is there any way to minimise it?
Cheers!
You are welcome and I'm happy to hear that you found the video helpful. As far as the self stretching, you can slowit down with lighter Titanium jewelry and resting the piercing from time to time.
How long after getting a PA should you wait before using a Prince Albert pass through wand? Should I stretch it to any particular size before attempting to use one?
Is it possible for the old hole to be closed naturally or surgically (a specialist doctor)????????
It really depends how long jewelry was worn in the piercing and where the piercing was stretched or not. Yes, it can be surgically closed just like any piercing.
Advice Needed. I am wanting to get either a Reverse PA or a deep shaft reverse PA, but I can find no videos on the latter, and virtually no information online. Calling out to anyone with experience on these piercings.
Try searching for dolphin piercing. There is an oral piercing by the same name but the original dolphin is what you are asking about.
It is extremely rare. Partly because it is a very difficult piercing to do or get. The placement needs to be prefect and the NRT needs to go much deeper than usual.
Really great video! I have a few extra questions if you don't mind:
-Why is it that you want to avoid the tendon when choosing the piercing spot?
-You mentioned the hole stretches on its own overtime, but how drastically? Say if my end goal is about 4g, will it ever reach 0g on its own? Say that it does, will I still be able to wear 4g rings comfortably?
- What size do you recommend getting it? Any big difference between piercing at 12g vs 8g? 8g is obviously more tempting as a start point if my goal is around 4g.
-This one might be a bit on the medical side but I'll give it a shot- I tend to have mild UTI from time to time, any chance this piercing would aggravate it?
We want to avoid the tendon because it will hurt more and may cause issues.
Usually the piercing will only stretch to about the size of the next gauge. It does depend on the weight of the jewelry.
If you want 4g, piercing at 8g will get you there faster but you might see more bleeding.
As far as uti, it shouldn't but it really depends on what is causing them. You should talk to your doctor before getting the piercing.
Hope you are reading this. Is this piercing available in all piercing shop and tattoo or should i ask the store first ?
Most piercers will do it. Though it always pays to research your piercer beforehand.
Finally got my nipples done on Friday.. so far so good!! Thank u for the video on those
Congratulations!! How did it go?
Body Piercing & Tattooing the second one definitely hurt a lil more, but I'm glad it's done now.. my Acups are now cuter!! 🤷🏻♀️🤣
I'd describe it like childbirth, u forget about the pain after it's done🤣🤣🤣
@@buckfuddy489 Tha bad? See the problem with gauging pain is everyone is different.
Sorry I thought I mentioned the throbbing and aching. Usually it only lasts a few minutes than it will only hurt when it's bumped.
Body Piercing & Tattooing oh no, I think u misunderstood..I didn't mean the pain was like labor, I mean that it was something that I forgot about..like yes it hurt, but even before I left the place, the pain was gone!! 🤣🤣
Do you use the Sam size needle as jewelry. My piercer used a 10g needle and put in 8 guage jewelry and I never had any bleeding at all. Not at time of getting it done nor in the days following. Just a thought. Perhaps a trick to try out? I was quite happy with this method.
Here's the deal. Medical needles are measured by the hollow middle. Piercing needles are measured by the external. So a 10g gauge medical needle would be close to an 8g piercing needle.
If they are using the pierce and stretch method, I would advise against getting future piercings from them. Yes, you won't see blood but there will be additional trauma, pain and damage. In case you don't know what the method is. Basically, the piercing is done with say a 10g piercing needle, than a taper pin is used to stretch the piercing to 8g and insert the jewelry.
I do have a question about the blood vessel and the bleeding. If a person is on plavix blood thinner for having a heart stent is it to help minimize the bleeding. Cardiologist has given the thumps up for the piercing. Still a little concerned when you mentioned the bleeding for several days.
Do make your piercer aware of it. My standard policy is talk to your doctor and get their input. My biggest concern is that they nick a blood vessel and it doesn't stop bleeding.
Great advice. Question: what is the maximum recommended size of an initial PA piercing?
I really don't suggest piercing above 8g. Usually they are done at 12 or 10g.
Thinking about getting this piercing. Any special considerations or warnings for uncircumcised dudes?
The foreskin needs to be loose enough to fit the jewelry and there has to be room to do the piercing.
Any special recommendations for changing the piercing?
Thank you for the video. Would you recommend this piercing for someone who is uncircumcised?
It really depends on how loose the foreskin is and if the jewelry will fit comfortably under it.
I am uncircumsized and have a Prince Albert piercing. A 5/8" 10-gauge ring fits comfortably under my foreskin.
@@lowderjr88 thank you 🙏🏾
Does a Prince Albert have a tendency to Migrate? I had a Lorum piercing a few years ago but my body rejected it.
For obvious reasons this is something I want to avoid if possible.
Not really. It is more likely to stretch than migrate.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Thanks for the vid and answers. How can you control excessive stretching? I understand it depends on jewelry material, so for example with a 2 or 0 g, could you recommend a maximum weight? Which materials you consider from best to worst in that terms? Thanks!
Great video! I want to get a PA. How long after the piercing can I swim in a pool? Provided all is going well with healing etc? Would 9-10 weeks healing time be sufficient? Thank you!
I would suggest waiting until the piercing is healed.
I got my PA about 17 years ago . So can I get a Apadravya put in yes or no . But I can put Ampaliang in right . Let me tell ya all . I really really love my PA. I think all guys should do it . Tell me on my first question.ok thank you . My PA is my favorite piercing
Apadravya are usually through the PA piercing on the bottom. So yes but it will become part of your new piercing.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing so I can keep the PA in an get the Apadravya put in to . I want them both in .
It all comes down to the angle the apadravya needs to be, the placement of the PA and if there is space.
What do you feel about vitamin e oil for a faster healing process I've used on other piercings and has worked great
Really makes little difference and the biggest issue would be what else is in the oil.
does the bleeding coming out from PA is really bad??? I dont care about the pain, but some said that they bleed for two days??? I mean is it continue bleeding like drooping blood all day long for two days ???
The bleeding isn't that bad but it will stain clothing. You aren't going to bleed pints though and wearing a pad for the first few days is enough. Most of the bleeding is over after day.
Very informative
I'm glad you found the video informative and thank you for watching.
I have had a PA before and still have a hole but it's maybe a 1/4 inch from the urethra opening and I'm wanting to gauge it out later on but scared it will rip like I've done before and resulted in a larger urethra opening. Should I get it redone lower on the shaft for safe measures?
That does sound like it wasn't pierced far enough in but it really depends on your anatomy. As far as stretching, I wouldn't advise it. The weight would be the biggest issue.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing yeah the one I had before went to a 2ga SS and it was so heavy and uncomfortable that I went back down to a more decent size in acrylic then it pushed through on accident and ripped. That's why I wouldn't go back to SS jewelry just bc of the weight but I thought I'd ask a professional :)
Titanium is the best option weight wise. I do not suggest plastic, especially in areas where there is contact with urine.
Thank you for sharing your experience and I'm sorry to hear that you lost your piercing.
I had mine done at 47 within 3 days the ball came loose n when I was cleaning it it fell out tried putting it back in but couldn’t I went back to the place I had done he tried n the hole had closed already way would the ball just fall off
It really depends on the type of jewelry that was used. The most common is the Captive Bead Ring and if there is not enough tension on the ball it can fall out. The other two most common types of jewelry are circular barbells and curved barbells. With those the ball threaded into or on to the post. They can come unscrewed.
Had my PA in for 24 years now, got a 2g (6mm) circular barbell in....
The PA was very painful for me (as stated, the process), so much so I thought he was doing it when marking with the pen lol. The first night I bled loads, waking up looking like I’d been stabbed down below. Wouldn’t be without mine, might go 0 gauge soon....
Also, pissing aint too much of an issue if your uncut 😜 and I had sex right away no problem. Never had any infections, never had any problems, pissing through it cleans it 👍 BUT, one time when she was on top and came out landing on it, twisting it round (if you know what I mean) caused me to bleed heavily, I had to run to the bathtub and lost a litre or more of blood, looked like a murder scene and nearly blacked out everything going black and white and getting dizzy, had an ambulance arrive lol.... That’s my only advice, be careful you don’t do what happened to me 🙈
Thank you for sharing your experience. As I always say, sex when comfortable but very gentle at first.
Is it better to be "gifted" in that area when getting this piercing?
In most cases, no. It is more about the distance between the triangle area and the entrance to the urethra.
So I am planning on getting a PA piercing on July 25th I did use two weeks paid vacation for the healing process. Since there are no conventions or concerts to use it on lol. A few questions I had. 1) I know it will be uncomfortable in the morning and bleed a little more do to some men get morning wood. Is there anything you can do to relieve that pain? Uber Herd one person said their piercer told them to get a glass of cold water and that helps but not sure if that’s sanitary. 2) Any helpful tips on the day of to I guess relax as best as I can, but not sure if there is anything else that might help with the nervousness of getting it done. Thank you for making your many videos to inform and educate us individuals on piercings.
The best thing to do day of is just to relax. Have a healthy meal, get plenty of rest the night before and don't drink alcohol the night before. Your state of mind can effect the experience. If there is an activity that you find relaxing do it before go in. Bring a pad can help. Also wearing shoes and clothing that is easy to remove.
As far pain reduction there really isn't anything then making sure you have a skilled piercer.
As far as the aftermath, comfort clothing, limited movement and just lounging around the house. Cold water I guess could help but is really unneeded. If you want use an ice pack that can help. Ice in a sealed bag wrapped in a clean paper towel would be best.
Good luck with your piercing and let us know how it turns out.
Body Piercing & Tattooing so I got it done and tbh the receiving tube just felt like I had to pee the needle was a 7/10 for me but only for 2-3 seconds. Now as far as the aftermath I know bleeding can occur. The thing is I’m bleeding a good amount. I got blood on my carpet cause it was just dripping and the blood is coagulating but it still seems like it’s not stopping. Not sure if I should just wrap it in gauze till it stops. It literally bleeds through the gauze. 😔
First off thank you for sharing your experience.
I would wrap in gauze or use a pad. If the blood is pumping you need medical attention. Otherwise if it is just seeping and pooling, that is normal and can last a few day. Ice can also help the blood to clot.
Body Piercing & Tattooing its not really pumping it’s more dripping out blood
You should be fine and it should begin to slow. Try ice and time.
IM GETTING MY PRINCE ALBERT THE 5TH OF AUG AND WAS WONDERING IF A THONG IS A GOOD CHOICE OF UNDERWEAR
I live in Texas and as you can imagine, it gets pretty hot here most of the year. Would sweating in jeans cause any issues with healing/infections? I work in a metal shop so I have to wear jeans at work.
Sweat that comes from you is not an issue. I would only suggest to make sure to put on clean clothes everyday.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing About how big can I expect this piercing to stretch on it's own?
The sky is the limit but most tend to reach about 4g
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Cool. Thanks man!
I had my PA done a couple of weeks ago. However the ball kept slipping back inside the Urethra which was quite uncomfortable.. so I upgraded to a 10mm ball, it does it occasionally still but I can live with that.. however I find that the lower ball due to the weight digs in or rubs on the wound and is fairly uncomfortable, is this normal? Will this pain subside? What should I do to prevent this?

Have you ever had a client use numbing cream before getting it ? Is it safe to use some sort of numbing cream ?
I do not suggest numbing creams. They can cause inflammation in the area and other reactions. This could affect the placement of the piercing.
If you have a skilled piercer, the pain will be limited and quick. Often the pain fades within second. Thus making any anesthesia completely unnecessary.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing one more question do you have any fellow piercers in Richmond VA or near it that you would recommend. Because watching this video I only feel comfortable enough to have you do it or someone with at least as much experience as yourself. Due to the fact it isn't many videos like this on RUclips. So anyone in Virginia you'd recommend to do this type of piercing ?
Three weeks into my piercing 10g. Yes I used a numbing cream in a condom placed onto my glan an hr before. Uncomfortable but really no pain. Bleeding yes for first 12hrs.worst was day 4/5/6. Uncomfortable n fairly sore. After day10 almost all pain gone. Now just waiting for the prescribed 12wks to start stretching. Anyone interested just do it.
Personally I wouldn't even consider engaging a piercer who was not offering to use a numbing solution for a penis piercing period. As for causing inflammation, yeah so does not taking proper care of your piercing as regards to proper hygiene, cleaning etc, cause inflammation. Even wearing dirty underwear can cause inflammation as well. Sheer rubbish as this medical cream is used by doctors for all sorts of medical procedures & not just piercings. Likewise if we had of stuck with the wooden wagon wheel instead of moving onto tyres we'd never have ended up with punctures in the first bloody place!!, yeah right!! What a load of sheer unadulterated shit!! There is absolutely no need whatsoever for anyone to feel more than a very minor pin prick pain from a mere PA piercing. (max level 2 pain, almost the lowest) My advice don't even think of getting a piercing unless a numbing solution is being offered period!!
Well that's your person opinion but the reality is that even without the numbing cream the pain is limited. That us if the piercer is skilled at what they do.
A piercer is not a licensed medical profession, they do not have access to your medical records and are completely uneducated about the reaction and side effect topical anesthesia may cause. In the US they can not legally apply or even suggest medications. This includes otc medications.
I'm guessing you are not a piercer and don't begin to understand how much inflammation can effect the placement and angle of a piercing. This can be a huge issue with even piercing grouping like Jacob ladders. Where unless the piercings are done quickly before the inflation sets in can cause even the best placed markings to be off by the time you get to the second or third piercing.
Also what can be legally used in the US is going to cause little or no difference in a prince Albert piercing other than making the procedure all that much long. Most of the discomfort is caused by the insertion of the needle receiving tube into the urethra and the pressure it causes against the inside. The piercing is through an extremely thin amount of soft tissue and very quick. Sitting there focusing on what is about to happen to give the numbing cream enough time to work is only going to prolong and increase the client's anxiety. Then there is the fact that some of these creams can cause a warming or burning sensation when in contact with the genitals.
To conclude, usually when a piercer insist on using anesthesia usually are hiding they lack of skill or up-selling. Many studios will charge clients as much as an extra $30 to put a dab of cream on the piercing area.
What about if you are uncircumcised? What are the pros and cons or should it be done at all?
It comes down to anatomy. If the foreskin is loose enough to allow room for the jewelry, it can be done.
I have one if anyone wants to ask me questions. I feel like this dude gave really great advice, but there are a few things which were different for me.
What were they?
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Oh also, I can pee standing up. I have two separate streams, but I can aim them both to go in standing up. My jewelry is 6ga btw.
May sound strange, but is there some, like, "crust" forming over? Does things get caught in it ? I mean, it's kind of a spot where there's secretions and stuff so I was wondering
The jewelry can have fluids that harden and collect on the jewelry. These wash off with soap and water. Though urination does a pretty good job of cleaning the jewelry.
@@monnomneteregardepas5272 Completely agree with what Body Piercing and Tattooing said. You just have to wash it. I've never really had any issue with it getting caught on anything.
I'm seriously considering this piercing. I'm OK with the urination part but concerned about how it may affect my vaginal penetration sex life and personal masturbation.. Any info here is appreciated. Once it's healed it doesn't cause issues.

Good info. I have a question for you. So i got my pa done about 2 months ago wore a 12guage piercing i am now at 8guage but intercourse is still painful. Do you think i just need to wait longer, or get a thicker guage?
That is a bit of a jump in a short period of time. Give it time to heal and grow additional tissue. I would have suggested that you wait 6 months before going to 10g.tgere shoukd be no pain when stretching and a taper should slide through without effort.

I have 8G prince albert hole under my frenulum. Does it going to close by it self or do I have to take a surgery, sir?
It really depends on how long you had it and if it was stretched. Sometimes they never close completely.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Thank you for the instant reply, sir.
I had mine pierced, healed and stretched in about three months to 0G 8mm , and it is getting much smaller but I think it started to formed thick skin around the hole... about 6G 4mm now. Do you think it will close sir? Thank you so much!
Possibly. I tend to rest mine to avoid it stretching larger. Only time will tell.
Does one have to let the doctor know before doing MRI or cat scan
In most cases, they are going to ask that you remove any metal jewelry for the procedure. So, if you are concerned about them knowing, I would suggest removing the jewelry if they are scanning the area because it will show up on the scan.
Just a couple of quick questions... About sleeping and comfort during healing; is nocturnal penile tumescence a problem durning the healing process? I have a tendency to get hard in my sleep, and some times throughout the day. Also, what size (gauge) should you start with; and can your piercer do the stretching for you? Great vid btw! 👍
It can be a little uncomfortable first thing in the morning. Nothing too uncomfortable and usually fades after a few days.
Usually the piercing is done with 12-10g. It can be done with 8g but you are going to see a lot more bleeding.
Yes, most piercer are happy to help you with stretching the piercing.
I'm glad you found the piercing helpful.
I'm 43, got a Prince Albert on a whim about 22 years ago.... I ended up having to take it out about 4 years ago due to having to get some hip MRIs and surgery... Haven't put it back in and at this point I kinda feel like I've outgrown it, but I'm stuck w/ the hole unless I want to have surgery to remove the fistula and close the hole which seems like it might open me up to infection and possibly damage sensitivity....It's kind of a pain in the ass though when trying to piss. I'm wondering if I should just put back in a small piece of jewelry that I could remove easily if I need to and just keep it. Any ideas of what I could put in?
You can try different jewelry sizes to see what works best for you. It depends on which gauge it was pierced at. Getting it surgically closed shouldn't affect the sensitivity and I wouldn't be concerned about infection any more so than you would from getting it pierced. Thank you for watching!
Can kidney stones have trouble breaking out because of jewelry?
This maybe the first time I've ever been asked this question. I don't believe it would make any really difference and since the piercing tends to widen the urethra entrance, it may make it easier. However you may want to remove the jewelry.
I was just wondering (if you don't mind me asking) if this piercing affects one's ability to ejaculate normally?
Hi im from Indonesia, i want to ask about PA, because its not common in here and its hard to find a good piercer that i can talk. When you said it will bleed, does it bleed like stream or just couple of drop ? Honestly I very worried about the bleeding, im a worker and i dont want to bleed during the working time, thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english...
It varies but usually the worse is the first day. After that it's more like a few drops. The key is a pad.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing Hi thanks for your quick reply. I have another question about bleeding. Let say if im unlucky and find a bad piercer and he hit the blood vessel how bad the situation is it?
The worse case would be that you need medical attention. The risk of this happening is pretty low.
I was gonna pull the trigger but I’m afraid I’d set the bells & whistles off at the airport.
Since all high grade body placement jewelry is low carbon and weapons are made out of high carbon materials, jewelry will not set off metal detectors.

What is your opinion about the " Queen Victoria " reverse Prince Albert, cause I think that looks better, but some Danish piercers don't recommend it ?
Not a piercing that I do. I wasn't trained to do them and you really need to find a piercer that has a lot of experience with them and Apadravya piercings.
I really have always wondered how comfortable they are. It seems that an Apadravya would be a better option.
Hey i got a prince albert a few months ago but i took it out because
1)i had multiple people tell me the size it was pierced at was too small and may give me a cheese cutter effect (16g)
2) i expressed to the piercer that i planed on stretching to wear thicker jewelry but i think it was too close to the surface of the underside of the skin.
I really want to get it pierced again but im worried about the about the above mentioned issues. I also dont think my piercer really knew what she was doing. What advice can you give me going forward on jewelry size and how to find a reputable piercer?
First off research your piercer, ask about their experience, their training, how long the have been piercing, etc... Also If you see someone with a piercing ask them politely, who did their piercings and what the experience was like. Visit a few studios and ask consultation.
Now it depends on your anatomy but it should be placed in the triangle area. The top triangle is the bottom of your glands and the bottom line is the ring of foreskin. You can ask to see the marking before the piercing is done.
As far as jewelry, I suggest 12g or thicker with a width of at least 5/8.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing thank you so much!!
Granted I'm not a certified piercer but whoever suggested for you to get pierced at a size 16 gauge (PA) was so obviously not very knowledgeable, yeah right!! Also what about getting off your own backside & instigating some research on the subject itself instead of expecting someone else to do all your spade work & then you start moaning like hell due to everything turning to shit!! It's called getting your act together & wiping your own arse!!
A Prince Albert ideally should be pierced at 12 gauge minimum & either a 10 or an 8 gauge at the most!! But piercing with a 16 gauge would be tantamount to using a cheese cutter & consequently having that very same effect!! I knew nothing prior to my acquisition but got off the couch & spent absolutely months not days & did some simple research & there is heaps of it out there!! A PA is a piece of cake & so erotic indeed!!
Hi, pls help me, i have questions about PA stretching, I have my PA done several months ago, and i want to stretch it, my piercing now is 2mm, i want to get 3mm for the next. Is it okay from that size, or should i use the 2.5mm before 3mm ??? Thanks in advance...
I would suggest giving it at least 9 months from the piercing date. The jewelry should slide in without pressure.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing does it means using taper to streching it is a mistake ?
If I have had endocarditis is this a piercing you suggest is a safe option for me?
I would suggest talking to your doctor. Maybe don't tell them that it's a genital piercing. Just ask if there is any reason that you shouldn't get a piercing. I'm unaware how this effect the body's ability to heal or fight off infection.
By the way, PA piercings tend to be fast heals and are less likely to become infected than other piercings. So it maybe a good option for you.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing thanks!

Do you have a discussion on Reverse PA? These sessions are informative.
I currently have a PA stretched to 0G, and thinking of adding an RPA.
I haven't done one on a RPA. Though I did on Apadravya piercings which pretty much covers the same information
ruclips.net/video/mmVCKwBRFh4/видео.html .
@@BodyPiercingTattooing If I was to convert my 0G PA to an Apadravya (and then to maybe a dual RPA and PA), what gauge would you recommend to start?
I like large gauge, and I understand the stretching for an Apa is quite difficult. Going to a 0G for the PA wasn't that difficult. The only tough one was from 2G to 0G.
I would like to start large to minimise the steps, but don't want to be stupid. Also I'm not sure what a final goal for an RPA is recommended. As stated, I have a 0G PA, and that is my final goal for the PA.
Is it better to keep an RPA at a smaller gauge and then using larger balls, or increasing the gauge to support the size of ends?
I started my frenums at 6G, when the most common was to start at 8G. Almost wish I'd started at 4G, but it is what it is. I'm going to expand these to 4G, and this may be the final goal based on your previous comment about weight. I had thought about a goal of 2G for the frenums, but will need to see how things go before moving to this size.
Really appreciate your candid advice, and am very informative.
I personally don't like using those 6g needles. They create a lot of trauma and bleeding. However if you can handle the pain, it's possible. The biggest thing is no dermal punches and understand that it will be a lot more painful than a frenum.
Hey, i hope you can answer this question even after the 3 year time period.
Is it possible to get this while Uncircumcised? Will it effect the natural push and pull while having intercourse?
It is possible but more prone to issues. It really comes down to anatomy and if there is room for the jewelry to sit comfortably under the foreskin.
I love this man!
Thank you and thank you for watching.
I have a real short foreskin. Does that make it easier for a PA? Need to have bigger jewelry, too.
It all comes down to anatomy and how loose the foreskin is.
Since you're from the midwest, I wouldn't expect you to mention foreskin as the Midwest is the circumcision capital of the US. But for the rest of us men in the world with foreskin, Mine is pierced to the left because of my frenulum. Others choose the right side of the frenulum. Also, foreskin is great with a PA because it helps to hold it in place as well as having the extra nerve endings which feel amazing.
Sorry, I realized that I didn't mention foreskin when I watched the video last night at home and it isn't a midwest thing, it's an American thing. With around 77% of adult males in the US being circumcised. This was mainly caused by doctors after WWII tell parents that it should be done for hygiene reasons and to curve masturbation. Still over 70 years later, parents are requesting that it be done, mainly so their son doesn't look different. We could get into a long discussion of why this is wrong but I'm guessing that you wouldn't circumcise your child for non-religious reasons. So, we agree on that one completely.
Even though I'm in the Midwest, I have pierced a number of men with foreskin. When I started the general rule was that if the person was natural and uncut the piercing shouldn't be done. It took a very insistent client for me to attempt a Prince Albert piercing on him. I have done a number of them since then and the biggest have only had a few that had issues. Mainly, it depends on how tight the foreskin is. If it is super tight it can put a lot of pressure on the piercing and cause migration, prolonged healing or not healing at all. The client that had issues started to develop tears and abrasions from the jewelry forcing the foreskin back. There was just so much pressure on the tendon to cover the glands. Over time the foreskin stretched to allow room for the jewelry under his foreskin but it wasn't an easy or fun experience for him.
The other issue is ensuring that the foreskin is completely free of the piercing area. I had a person come in that was pierced elsewhere and somehow the foreskin got between the needle and the piercing area. Basically, piercing the foreskin and then a normal PA. An easy fix, we just took the ball off and back the jewelry out of the foreskin but one more reason to find someone that has not only experience with doing the piercing but with those with the foreskin intact.
