The changing the guards is always perfect. I'm surprised at the number of music bands in the British army. I admire precision of the gesture and the change of steps. Orders given out loud inspire respect and discipline in the ranks. During the parade, the music maintains the cohesion of the whole by stimulating the troops. Excellent. Nothing to change.

Ive had the privilege of working with the band of the LIfe Guards before but something I never noticed was how not everyone wears the gold aiguillette on the left shoulder, anyone know why that is? is it a rank thing?
