@@sersastarkIn this case the power was out due to Sheldon pulling the main circuit breaker switch to the apartment to force Leonard to reinstate the roommate agreement.
Pasadena City Hall would most likely have generators that would kick in when the power goes out.

The people who survived the longest had resulted to cannibalism and ate the people who had already died. Eventually the whole group had died. It is a dark and sad event in pioneer history

Funnily enough, in Red Dwarf, there's a thing called "Tension Sheets", which was just bubble wrap painted red. Users would pop the bubbles to relieve stress.
Another funny thing about Red Dwarf was when this episode originally aired there were not 61 episodes of Red Dwarf filmed. There were only 53 episodes, 8 seasons of 6 episodes a pop and a TV special that was 3 episodes.
Don't worry, Leonard and Penny could prolly find something to relieve stress too.

Reminds me of my mate who went on a date to an escape room with a girl who was an enthusiast. They apparently beat a course record. I love Red Dwarf. Mainly Seasons 1 through 5 though. They’re the ones I’m most familiar with.
I felt the quality of the show declined when, ironically, its increasing popularity gave it a bigger budget. They started relying on special effects and the show was never about special effects. It was almost irrelevant that it was set in space.

Who the thought that Red Dwarf was such a huge popular BBC show over in the USA, along with Doctor Who as well. It seems that American people loves this show, and it's on BritBox all the Seasons.
Here in St. Louis our local PBS station would show it Sunday night at 10 pm. Good times.
