i’m sorry but it’s hella weird that your friends went into the bathroom and saw Abbie’s phone just chilling on the windowsill, and didn’t give it back to her. It had to have been obvious to them at that time, Abbie forgot it in the bathroom.

We were staying at an Air BnB and the bathroom her phone was in was technically “their bathroom” for the night. We all headed out to silent disco so left our phones at the house so we don’t loose them. They didn’t grab it because they felt like it was supposed to be there. Mine was left on the kitchen table. There were a few people around we did not know.
Clearly it is a bad group of humans if a party full of people you know steal your phone and cards. Gross

Stealing is so freaking WRONG!! This happened to me too,when I was working at McDonald's. I laid my phone down on the toilet paper thingy,and washed my hands. I went out of the restroom and then a lady comes in the restroom and she has my phone. I tried calling it on someone else's phone and no one would answer it. My husband and I went to the police station to report it stolen. A lady threw my cards on the parking lot of Walmart and she tried putting my phone into the machine where you can get money for your phone. Apparently it stayed in the machine. A police lady found it and brought it back to me. I will NEVER forget about this mishap. To this day,I make sure I have it with me or I leave it at the house.

You never know who does stuff like stealing. Someone stole money from purses at my grandmother's funeral! It had to be family. It's crazy and sad.
Wow that's crazy my mother pass on May 3rd and eveone come back to our house the next day we want to get her name necklace and it was no where to be find.. I just think that who ever took it is really messed up on the day she passed away that have no respect what so ever.😢

If they saw it,.... why didn't they grab it for Abby?! If I saw my friend had left it behind, I would have grabbed it. Did you check to see if anyone had made purchases on any of the cards? It could be a clue as to where the phone is. Could Apple do anything? Something feels very off about this whole situation,... 😞

First of all stealing is a disgusting thing to do also just a hint for if this happens to anybody else or happens in the future again if somebody turns off your iPhone and you have an Apple Watch that is connected to your iPhone go in your Apple Watch and there is a hack where you can turn your Find My iPhone back on using your watch, you can also use your watch to ping your iPhone even if it’s on silent. It will make an alarm noise so that you can find it. You can track your cell phone from your watch all the way down to 3 feet. there’s plenty of hacks that you can use your watch for and if your watch was ringing, it was still connected to your phone so it was close enough to be connected to your phone but again stealing is disgusting and I’m sorry it happened

When I was in high school, I was at a friend’s birthday party and someone at the party stole money out of my wallet. We were playing “sardines” which is like reverse hide and seek (one person hides and then everyone else looks for them - once you find them, you hide with them). Anyway, you play with the lights off. So when one round was over and we came back in the living room with the lights on, my purse had been moved, my wallet was out, and my money was gone. I don’t remember how much it was but it was probably anywhere from $20-60. There were probably 15 people there, tops. We never did figure out who took it.

Losing your phone is not only very scary because of all the info but also very inconvenient when you are by yourself, had that scare two weeks ago.
So that's why I never have my phone and wallet together and I got a second SIM card that's actually a copy of the one I'm using. You can only use one at the time but that way I can go home get my old phone and can turn off the other phone and start locking everything 💡

If you backup your old iPhone to your apple account and iCloud then you don’t need to transfer anything from your old to new iPhone all you need to do is sign in into your account on your new iPhone then select setup as new iPhone or whatever it’s called and then wait until your iPhone is set up and boom if I’m not being clear then you can just go watch a ton of videos of people with iPhones or iPads of them doing it
