Yeah totally agree and very much like the hard tracks on the Monkeys Suck It And See album which Josh produced. Seems like Sheffield's answer to metal is pure steel and rock solid!!
I couldn’t be happier to find this band. I listened to Arctic Monkeys so many times the magic started going away. I still love them and listen to them often, but there isn’t that buzz that you get from a new song anymore. This band has that sound that I’m so in love with!!
very good,i'm going to start to listen to their work on the back of this song.Tom Rowlley is bound to be influenced by josh homme with the company he's keeping.
have heard ote from this guys first band? if you like that QOTSA impression on what was once spikey northern Britpop you might wanna try milburn's second album called "these are the facts" what will you do when the money goes is the stand out track for me. (ps it came out before humbug). unless you are already a milburn fan in which case have a nice day brother

Sounds a lot like Spinning In Daffodils from Them Crooked Vultures, not bad :)
and the vocal lines are like song for the deaf QOTSA
