Yeah I think it's cause the other songs had a lot of stuff going on like tons of buildings and debris and such, so the background would just blend in together. This one is much more simplified and smaller scale so the things that are in it pop out MUCH more. I like it a lot more too.

Power hungry for more he makes the bucket helmets, failing to get everyone he turns to what i like to think is a sewage plant (neon tide) he fines this sewage has the ability to make fish easy to manipulate, sponge bob just returns from jelly fishing to see the destruction, plankton finds him and uses his new army to ether control or kill him. after months of chaos sandy is one of the few remaining, she devises a plan to finally wipe plankton from the sea (both of us). plankton is going through crisis as he knows something is happening and he is the only one who can stop it (probably why he says "both of us die if i dont reach the Finnish line") sandy stands victorious as plankton's power hold is weakened. as an explosion sounds from the distance, plankton knows whats to happen, he runs towards it to find Neptune enraged destroying the town for choosing against him ( you chose convenience over Neptune gift"-neon tide) Neptune destroys everything, plankton tries to save them, Neptune is defeated but all thats left of him is one antenna(funeral of an anti-hero). months later bikini bottom is in ruins, everyone is walking through the ruins reminiscing, plankton still alive and now crazed as he thinks everyone is now against him believes he cant be a hero and intends to end them all the way he should have before (rock bottom) opinions? *order is plan z->neon tide->both of us->funeral of an anti-hero->rock bottom*

this kind of how i see the story... (only counting the ones plankton is in/referred in)
plankton's failed to the point of breaking (plan z) so he decides that he isn't playing fair, he is going to hit krabs from all sides, using the plans that got him closest (referred to when he says "hey Karen pull up that file for me please, im gathering up my whole family tree" and the reference to F.U.N which actually got him a patty in the episode) doing this he wins causing krabs to go down with his restraint. Power hungry for more he makes the bucket helmets, failing to get everyone he turns to what i like to think is a sewage plant (neon tide) he fines this sewage has the ability to make fish easy to manipulate, sponge bob just returns from jelly fishing to see the destruction, plankton finds him and uses his new army to ether control or kill him. after months of chaos sandy is one of the few remaining, she devises a plan to finally wipe plankton from the sea (both of us). plankton is going through crisis as he knows something is happening and he is the only one who can stop it (probably why he says "both of us die if i dont reach the Finnish line") sandy stands victorious as plankton's power hold is weakened. as an explosion sounds from the distance, plankton knows whats to happen, he runs towards it to find Neptune enraged destroying the town for choosing against him ( you chose convenience over Neptune gift"-neon tide) Neptune destroys everything, plankton tries to save them, Neptune is defeated but all thats left of him is one antenna(funeral of an anti-hero). months later bikini bottom is in ruins, everyone is walking through the ruins reminiscing, plankton still alive and now crazed as he thinks everyone is now against him believes he cant be a hero and intends to end them all the way he should have before (rock bottom)
