Thanks! I was about to quit druid and reroll another class. I love how you explained all the synergies for the build. After trying it out it's a lot of fun!
I'm just happy to help. I myself wasn't comfortable with the druid till I rolled this, it just simplified my life overall kek. If you ever need more demonstrations, swing by a stream 😁👍
Dude you nailed it. There is a gap on RUclips, nobody is posting mid game build 30-40 with no aspect and no legendary, uniques. I have been searching on RUclips for it, and 0 youtubers have it. All builds require aspect, codex of some sort. You filled that gap with this video. Would appreciate more of such builds too.
Yeah I'll cover builds for Early, Mid, Late and End Game for all characters. This pre-season is more or less a way of me learning what the community needs so I can really drop the good stuff when season 1 comes out. I have other mid-game builds already out ;) That said, some builds do require aspects to function (that is unfortunately, unavoidable). No aspects is only possible on Druid, Sorc and Necro (as they can standalone). For Rogue and Barb they require at least 1 aspect (covered in my vids as well)
Huge thanks my man. Abandon my Druid at 24 b/c it just felt bad at leveling. Discover your channel 2 days ago. Now I’m 36 and loving this class even more. Keep pushing that content my man!!
Props to this dude for making a solid leveling build revolving around storm skills that uses under rated abilities, mainly cyclone and hurricane when you usually see nothing but earthen bulwark and hurricane added to shapeshifting builds. If I had to level a druid again I would go a similar route because it is both good and I've done shred, bear and earth.
First video I’ve watched and used this build to help me finish the campaign and up to lvl 51, so thank you! Before hand I was using a build of using howl and wolfs and ravens and came about lvl 40, I just was not getting good results anymore. Really diving into this build videos got me more into the game. First time ever playing a Diablo game 😁 I love the in-depth explanation as well!
It's my first time making content for a diablo game, so I'm glad people are giving my stuff a chance. I'll be here every season to deliver the best stuff now that I know the game inside and out :)
Finally this is the build I’ve been looking for. I’m at level 50 with no aspects or gear yet. This is the best storm build I’ve tried while leveling so far.
I never comment on anything, ever. That being said I used this and it was a game changer. A really fun way to play Druid for leveling. Thanks so much for this!
You and your build allowed me to kill my first butcher! Thank you!! For reference to others, I'm at level 42 and followed your build to a T. I love the fact that the build's gameplay is dynamic. Hurricane, a couple of storm strikes for ressource, a Bunch of lightning storms for trash mobs. For easy elites: Hurricane, trample for stun, then alternate between 3 storm strikes and a Bunch of lightning storms. For hard elites (with waves) : same as easy elites, but instead repeating the process, you go nuclear Calaclysm at the end of the first rotation and then star over. Pow pow!
Thanks for enjoying it. It's great for leveling, late game you can switch over to Pulverize Werebear (like me) or go for Stormwolf (not covered on my channel for the pre-season). But honestly, druids can be very fun. Thanks for enjoying my content and giving it a chance! 😁👍
This build is awesome and so much fun to use! I’m a newcomer to Diablo so messing around with different powers was fun but it was a struggle to defeat hoards of mobs…I’m at level 29 now and it’s been a fun and breezy. This build makes me feel like Thor 🤣
Yes 😁👍. All our builds work well because we play them live first. Thoroughly test (and you can reference the streams). Then we post and explain. Thanks for giving my content a chance. I will continue to produce only the best for my people!
I don’t know if you remember me, but I asked you for a support build on Dauntless. A day later you came up with the paladin build. You became my favorite dauntless creator after that and used many of your dauntless builds. I was about to give up on Diablo because I just couldn’t find a good early leveling build for Druid or necromancer. Most of the stuff out there is built for late game. Then while searching thru RUclips one last time found your videos on Diablo and immediately clicked on it. Just like you Dauntless build, your Diablo build are so much fun and easy to get into. I am following both your necro and Druid builds and having so much fun with both. Can’t decide yet which one I want to main. Thanks again for making these awesome builds. I’m so glad my Favorite Dauntless creator is now My Diablo creator. Can’t wait to see how many other awesome build you create.
I discovered this build on my own, but I run blood howl instead of trample for extra survivability, and the aspect which raises critical strike chance by 9%👌💯
Just wanted to pop in to thank you for this build suggestion. I was doing a shred/companion build i saw in an article and im having a lot more fun now 💪
Absolutely loving the Druid class, & this definitely is helpful. Was starting to get my butt kicked alot & overlooked some of the important skills in my storm druid
Yoo, thank you very much man, I've been struggling with mid game Druid and finally got a viable build. Keep up the good work! Soon you'll become a favorite Diablo IV content creator for many. :)
I'll do my best, I still have more work to do on the druid, but i'm working on the barbarian and necro first (my more favoured classes). Sorcerer also needs work kek. I will try to update druid by next week!
@@RealAsianRobot well you’re doing a great job! Loved how you actually included the rotations too 10/10. I’ll definitely be using this build and others you release in the future!
@joelglover3330 No problem 😁👍. I'm new to the Diablo scene so I test things thoroughly before releasing so that players can achieve the same results. I'm really glad that you appreciated my effort. Thank you!
what abilities were you using? I used Landslide build (with poison creeper) until I got to Tier 3 lvl 50 and it pretty much clapped everything. Landslide does an absurd amount of damage very quickly. Elites would die in like 2 casts.
Tried the early levelling build that you posted before this one and just couldn't level with it, did better with companions (ravens and wolves with creeper) and tornado. Blasted through everything. But after getting to level 20 i decided to try the mid game build out... now this whoops ass lol, really fun to play with and i'm only lvl 27 but it's starting to melt. I love it, thank you :)
No problem :). A lot of players seem to have difficulty early level for some weird reason, but I think it's because a lot of players aren't used to the way sustain works in Diablo. It's the same for the Sorc build, everyone finds the early game to be a problem, but mid-game they feel the rush lol. Glad you're enjoying this build, because it really brings the pain (once you get legendaries to work, it gets even more insane).
@@RealAsianRobot Yeah I haven't played Diablo since the first one lol. I'm old :D Was just fighting a boss and the server went down btw, the only thing that i can complain about when it comes to 4 haha!
Seems like a fun playstyle. I did a Landslide build (with poison creeper) and it absolutely smashed content, especially when I got the double hit Landslide aspect around the 40s. Did Capstone dungeon at 50 and it was incredibly easy. If I had to level Druid again I’d definitely try this build for a different experience because I really wanted to use Lightning, especially since I got the aspect that increases damage if you stand still pretty early on a ring.
@@steelesaldutti hey I’m not sure the name of it but you can get it from a dungeon just look at your map whenever you find a new area and you’ll see it I think I saw it on my map after doing act 2
Nice build. I'm running Poison Creeper and Blood Howl with storm skills. Works great for me too. I like the spirit management in your build though. Good stuff
omg! Thank you. I have been strugglin with Druid. Coming from a Sorc and Rogue I was like "why does this class feel so slow and meh" and this feels so much better. Druid looks really good with aspects but man if you don't have em it feels bad. Anyway thank you again. This is actually fun.
Well done on this build! The synergies and the need only for easily-obtained Codex aspects make this a winner, and arguably the build every druid should level up with. Thanks for the detailed explanation in your video of the skill selection -- I didn't realize the importance of making everything work together. Just for your information, I am using a 2H axe, as I cannot find a staff with an equivalent dps. On the other hand, it's not obvious what the actual damage done by your weapon is. How would you calculate the true dps of a weapon? I don't understand how the various damage amounts stack.
The actual dps is pretty hard to calculate so for simplicity sake. Just make sure the DPS per second listed of the 2H staff is the highest possible. After that just stack as many beneficial affixes. This is covered usually in late game builds, as the mid and early game, it really doesn't matter
@waltdonovan7858 staff has a better innate affix, the difference is very clear end game but can also be pretty obvious in world tier 3. Up to you though, I would prioritize DPS first, but if I can get something that is relatively the same on the main DPS Stat, I will always choose a staff vs an axe.
I wouldn't say I'm famous, but I'm doing alright, building up my following. Diablo 4 is a great game and thankfully unlike Dauntless their devs aren't racist towards asians :P
You can use anything, but take note that this was designed for the pre-season. I will work on a druid build for season 1 but not so soon. I am currently focusing on the Sorcerer and Necro. Videos will be published only after I play things live on stream, so keep an eye on my streams! That said, the more support I receive the faster I can work! Most methods of supporting this channel are free btw (just watch vids, like and share my vids constantly). More revenue = faster content 😁👍
The aspects are covered in the late game build coming later this week where we switch to a Pulverize Werebear druid instead (for massive damage and tankiness of course)
Interesting! I had thought of Lightning as being the Core for a fundamentally ranged build, but I see from your gameplay clips that this build is fundamentally a melee or at least CQB kind of play style…
Almost all classes in the game (tbh) sans the Rogue have more effective melee range builds than long ranged builds. I think it's the way Diablo 4 was designed. Storm druids are no different, they just have cool lightning while being in close quarters 🤣🤣
I have played Diablo 4 for about a week now and Storm Droid has to be the best Droid build I have seen tried, Warebear Pulverise build and died very easy in boss fights more so with the Slither Boss yet to test Storm Droid on that boss which read up on is very tough to kill. I was wondering are you able to do how to work the PS5 controller. What I found to work the best is to have the storm lightening assigned to R2 and the Hurricane to L2. I have cleared 2 dungeons near Fractured Peaks and working out how to find more waypoints around there so far only located Bear Tribe Refuge Waypoint. keep up the great videos with Diablo 4 Robot got my vote for best and easiest to follow step by step with using the skill tree followed by simple instructions videos on how to use the build for Diablo 4 content creator..
Thank you for giving my content a chance. I'm glad you like it. I'll be making sure you guys get the best builds in season 1. That said, I'm so sorry. I am a mouse and keyboard player and I currently don't own any controllers so I'm not able to make those vids (plus can't afford to buy controllers right now haha). But maybe in future if I grow 😁✌️
@@RealAsianRobot I understand I used to do the WASD and mouse now have a PS5 and controller found it much easier to control. That's true down the track could be in the position financially to get either a PS5 or even Xbox OneS 😁 😁I have made it easy going through dungeons with the Storm Druid and couple of Strongholds now at level 47 going for Stronghold 49 using this build of yours Storm Druid getting killed much quicker with the Stronghold Boss.. 2 Strongholds tried were Hope's Light and Alcarnus. Robot do you have a video about how to defeat a boss in a Stronghold? I have been learning using the lightening Storm all based on the spirt except when have full spirit my lightening storm takes a little while to even start once gets going I am fine except when you crowd control by Elites and Witches found it very tough to survive. Watching a Video seeing how you complete a Stronghold would really be helpful in my opinion. I was researching about Aspects which get from Dungeons maybe get the Druid ones that will help with damage reduction and more damage with the Lightening Storm, will see how that goes..
@grantwilson2473 you should never need a vid for a stronghold. Just come to streams in season 1 and ask me to show a stronghold. It's easy (when I'm playing with the druid). That said if you have trouble your gear is bad. Gear up as your focus
As per the skill section of the video, please look at the nature passives at the bottom of the tree. It is highly recommended you review the skill explanations in detail as I go through them to explain how each skill contributes to the build.
I've used this build for the Eternal realm and also for season 1 I'm currently lvl 45. I have a few questions what lvl should I switch my build also. Please send me a link to that build you recommend. Much love. Your videos kick ass
Hi there, this build is outdated so I do not recommend following it past level 50. Though you can refer to my previous "late game druid" vid if you want to see what I did in the pre-season. Please wait for me to play druid in season 1 however, before I determine what is the best choice 😁👍. I am much slower than other creators because I play my stuff live on stream before publishing in order to give the best experience to my audience. Thanks for enjoying my content. I hope you don't mind the wait. For the season so far Necro and Sorcerer have been prepared for level 1 to 50. And they are both the best choices for this season. I suggest using them first
Not for the pre-season. I went pulverize werebear but the unique dependency made it awkward for end game. In season 1 I plan on experimenting on something that limits the unique dependency
@@TheDrPaulus Yup. It's a full change. But please take note I stopped my druid leveling around level 70 as I want to try a different path for Season 1. The overall dependency on Uniques, completely turned me off the Werebear druid (even if it's strong)
been running this build since lv 1! im lv 43 but starting to struggle. not sure if just unlucky with gear or what any advice? what stats should i prioritize on gear? Also will this build be viable endgame? at at least good enough to legendary farm on WT3? :)
This build is enough to farm legendary on WT3. Gear wise, you try to get best possible DPS on a 2 Handed Staff and then focus on damage reductions for your armor :). That's basically it. (also + damage to vulnerable targets would help you massively). I will release the late game build for druid today and it will switch over to a pulverize style, but it will contain much more detailed info (as we focus on gear and stats MOSTLY after level 50). Also make sure you NEVER play in World Tier 1 or your gear will suck, play only World Tier 2. This is a common problem that my viewers encounter due to being told to play in World Tier 1 by others
argue immobile from poison creeper over 2 points element resistance better...also good for bad omen. the points in endless tempest give hurricane 1.2 seconds..they are in there more for ult.
The level 60 update is out, but I switched to Pulverize Werebear. Pure storm is good for leveling, but for higher world tiers, I needed to switch to keep up 😁👍. Look for my late game druid build vid to see it
Turns out I can! thank you so much for sharing this build. My pulverize build was dragging me down. This one is waaay more fun to play and very satisfying to play also!
Absolutely you can. You can change builds anytime, just hit the refund points button and place the points accordingly. Just take note that you will need to ensure your gear however benefits this build (you will be looking for gear that deals more damage to crowd controlled targets and vulnerable targets). Once you get that sorted, you are good to go!
@@RealAsianRobot Thanks so much buddy. I really appreciate how much effort goes into the work you guys do. Do you think this storm druid will still be viable in end game?
@leelo4717 I will have to test it thoroughly before giving an answer. Some builds work out well. Some fizzle out. I only post what I test so for now it's amazing for leveling but end game might be a different story, especially with uniques available
This will be explained in the late game vid as you mostly focus on stats AFTER 50. Once thoroughly tested, I'll have that vid out (hopefully later this week).
This is for the pre-season. I have not worked on the druid for this season yet. My content will come out slower because I always play stuff live. I'm currently focusing on Necro and Sorcerer so you may have to wait awhile for druid. I sincerely apologize, but quality work does take time and unlike teams or partners I'm just a one-man content creator show haha. So please do support the channel if you can so I can make more content faster. Thank you 😁✌️
I was running tornado and it was fine until about level 25. Saw this video and have been running it pretty seamlessly but I do have trouble on high health single target. Currently level 45. Any suggestions?
The problem is usually gear, however a mid game build is just designed to get you to world tier 3 and after that you switch to a late game build. I cleared the capstone dungeon with a storm build at level 47 and then just focused on Gear farming until I got what I needed to switch. However I also got decent stats on my rings and weapons to improve my damage. I will be posting the druids late game build later this week after thorough testing. You will be able to catch the testing live on my streams, but basically you switch to a Pulverize build as soon as you have all the core aspects (some of which require drops unfortunately).
Done it multiple times live on stream. But anyway, you should ignore butcher until world tier 3 when you switch to the late game build (Pulverize Werebear), because World Tier 3 and up is where you need to kill him for Uniques (and of course he should be at least 7 levels above you). No point fighting him early and mid-game cause: 1) He drops awful loot 2) He wastes your time which is better spent leveling. 3) He is at your level which means loot is even less great :P
@@RealAsianRobot ok, make sense. it is just that during leveling sometimes when you are dungeon crawling it will keep showing up and keep ambushing you. Sometimes killing it will make it stop stalking you.
@pencilcheck never happened to me before, could just be wild rng haha. Whether I killed him or failed, it usually doesn't show up again lol. But yeah, low level kills are a bit iffy. If you have fully upgraded gear with great affix rolls, you can kill him with this. But it really depends on your gear at that point and it's never worth upgrading much cause you outgrow your gear super fast (until level 50)
@@RealAsianRobot Druid is my alt so I keep it equipped with some affixes hope it will speed things up. it is just sad I can't kill like my rogue without giving it soo much care.
@pencilcheck you can if you switch to the late game build version then. If you already have legendary aspects you can go directly to the late game build version then. Pulverize werebear will smoke the butcher no problem 🤣🤣. Mostly because you're so tanky you literally cannot die That vid was literally posted last night. Feel free to check it out
...the Lucky Hit effects you mention only happen on lucky hits. It's not a % chance for any damage dealt, it's a % chance to hit after you land a lucky hit. What's your Lucky Hit chance? like, Calm Before the Storm (13:10) isn't a 10% chance on landing Nature Magic skills to redxuce your Ult cooldown by 2 seconds. It's a 10% chance when getting a Lucky Hit with Nature Magic skills to reduce the cooldown of your Ult by 2 seconds. Significantly lower than you seem to be making it out to be.
Listen, I will do a whole video explaining lucky hits, but considering how often you hit, you will cool it down pretty fast ;). It triggers fairly often in practical combat, just an FYI. It is also one of the best choices regardless for this particular build. You're not required to believe me, but I have seen the positive comments.
@@RealAsianRobot oh, don't get me wrong the build sounds like it's gonna slap and ngl lightening is always more interesting than the companion based leveling build. but just wanted to point out that the % chances showing on the lucky hit skills are not the actual proc %. because that's been a really confusing mechanic from day 1. I don't even know if it's explained anywhere in game, come to think of it.
@@acolytetojippity It's not, hence why I will do a separate video on it lol. Many people keep bringing it up, but it's honestly a non-issue as it has been thoroughly tested. But for the sake of viewer comfort, I will dedicate a video to covering it and thoroughly explaining it (not that it's difficult to explain, it's literally 2 dice rolls kek).
@@RealAsianRobot that would be amazing, because it sounds like a lot of people are getting the mechanic wrong (including me, according to what you're saying?)
@acolytetojippity no you are correct my friend. Quick summary: Lucky hit is calculated first on the SKILL. A skill with 50% lucky hit for example (just to illustrate), will either roll a success or failure. If the lucky hit from the skill is rolled as a success, then a second roll occurs to determine whether the EFFECT triggers. If the lucky hit effect has a 5% chance for example (1/20 probability). These rolls (afaik) are affected by affixed that improve lucky hit chances. So your initial thoughts on lucky hit chance were correct. I was just saying not to worry about the expected result even from a low probability of occurrence, because the sheer number of hits performed by the druid when casting nature magic, allows the effects to trigger more often than people might think 😁👍. In a video for example if I said that the chance overall of something happening is 4%, people might not consider investing in a skill or boon. But the practical combat results show that in the field, the upgrade works well and is beneficial overall. That is what I was trying to express
It should be, keep an eye out for my druid streams next week since I plan on pushing it toward exactly that. A lot of my testing is always done live on stream
Refer to the late game build vid :) we switched to Pulverize Werebear as this Storm build is essentially for leveling and getting into World Tier 3. Hope this helps :)
When I level my druid to 60, the early paragon board will be shown, however I am working on other characters at the moment. I am slower than other creators but that's because I actively test everything before it is released 😁👍
im having so much trouble with solo druid. I dont understand how you have so much healing. i dont understand how you do multiple strikes somehow at the same time. I dont understand the mechanics at all. Its so frustrating bc i want to play druid but companion build is the only build i've been able to survive with and it does nothing for dmg.
Start by watching the early game build and work on that first. Get used to the skills step by step and also watch streams where I use the druid. It will help you to sew how everything is put together. You should also read the skill descriptions to better understand the passives and how they work together to make your druid stronger. Take note that I always have a combat showcase at the end of each video to explain the build in depth. Please watch those to learn more. If you just copy a build, you will understand nothing about it unfortunately
im playing with a friend on wt2 on druid and honestly have no problem staying alive (i have pretty much been the tank since hes a rogue and squishy af lol), im not sure if you are leveling or not but i would recomend going for landslide if staying alive is a problem you pretty much just use landslide and creeper for dmg and have room for 4 def or how ever many u want could even do 3 dmg and 3 def if u can stay alive, im lvl 45 rite now and use 5/5 in landslide, 5/5 in creeper 1/5 in bullwork 1/5 in blood howl and huricane 1/5 and storm strike 1/5 rest of points i spent in some more dmg and some def passive i can just about stand there face tanking alot even some bosses cause i have so much defence and still do a pretty good amount of dmg, i personaly didnt find druid that bad to level with but then again i did it with a friend but im sure it would work just as good solo
So the only thing I would say about resistances is that I'm not sure they are worth putting skill points into since you only get 50% of your resistance in actual damage reduction.
The thing is, you take it off later on. However early and mid game. It is a great way of upping your overall DR. Later on, once you hit late game. The skill points (imo) will likely be allocated elsewhere since you'll grab the legendary aspect that boosts your armor 😁👍
This will be covered in the late game build vid coming later this week :). In general, you don't have to worry too much about gems till World Tier 3. I just slotted in mostly Emeralds for Armor (to Thorns the Trash mobs) and Skulls in the rings and necklace (for armor), weapons just whatever I got.
Later this week. We are currently testing live on stream to learn the best stuff for you guys before I post. It's why I'm slower than other creators. I do all my testing live to make sure I go through the actual game so that you guys get exactly what I'm playing 😁👍
The build is nice and I bet it works really well. I might try it. Most I would already do anyway. BUT there are parts of this build I don't agree with at all. I get some of the passives are really good. But Dumping the extra points into hurricane. It's a damage over time. So that "1000" points of damage needs a full 9 seconds to do that damage to the enemies. So it's a trickle damage. Lightning storm is Core skill and should be main damage dealer and up-keep. It hits direct instant damage and up to 5 strikes per hit and each hit would hit for almost the same damage per strike. Especially if you can do the "4 second" sustain on it. it keeps the full width up and hits more at once. I agree that dumping points into it doesn't increase the damage all that much (percentage). But that is where poison creeper comes in. It CC enemies and huge DOT damage and hits in a very big AOE. The immobilize is such a good "breather" and allows you to deal damage without taking damage at least from all close enemies. It can be made even bigger in DOT by "companion buff" and dumping a few points into it increases damage quite a lot. It's up time is pretty fast as well. I would exchange Cyclone with Poison creeper. Hurricane is the passive damage dealer for the mobs that constantly on you. I always go lightning strike, Storm, poison creeper. From there it's a matter of choice. More mitigation and sustain can use bulwark/Cyclone and hurricane or just one or the other. Cataclysm 10 second is to good to ever be without. Then it's choice between bulwark, Cyclone, trample, hurricane etc. At times for just fun factor the Boulder with the enemies just getting pushed back and quick cooldown. Druid is such a good class, because it has so many variations and super good at proccing vulnerable and immobilize in so many basic, active and passive skills.
Nothing wrong with variations. Roll what you feel comfortable with. I upped hurricane because although it's damage over time. It's almost always up and I can see the overall value in it. That said, I may change things as I go. Mid game builds are usually just what facilitates leveling. So I may refund the points at a later time for reinvestment elsewhere. Hard to say until I really work on the late game druid (which I will be doing live on stream this week) Late game builds are where it gets fun 😈 and some may even totally change (like transitioning to Storm/Wolf or even switching over to full Pulverize).
Interesting build. I think I'm going to try it. I seem to be getting thrashed now at lvl 50, especially by elites/boses. I do have a question about this build. Would aspect of Inner Calm be beneficial at all for this storm build? Thanks.
Yes it can be. Because you ate stationary when using your basic and also when casting your lightning. However it's bad in kite fights so while gearing if you happen to get the aspect of inner calm it can help you in some fights. It's not crucial to the build though. Take note however that this was only built for mid game. For 50 and beyond you will need a late game build (I will update the druid with one next week if time permits as my other content jobs are coming up). However, you can also work on gearing your character better to take advantage of the conditions inflicted. +Damage to Vulnerable +Damage to Crowd Controlled Are two crucial stats for this build. Also load up on Damage Reduction for your pants and chest 😁👍
Your problem is probably gear. You need strong defensive gear which unfortunately most players neglect. It's why late game I switched to Pulverize Werebear. This mid-game build is only designed to get you to level 50 and into world tier 3. It's easy for leveling, but beyond that, you will need good gear and in that case, it's why I switched to Pulv
@@RealAsianRobot ok well most of my gear seems to want me to lean into werewolf skills so I think I'll just do that with poison and see if that's more effective.
To be honest, nice guide, but the gameplay looked very weak. Was that wt3? If wt1 then damage sucked. With pulverize build it’s so much faster and I guess with tornado build too
This is for the pre-season in World Tier 2 which you can clearly see on the screen ;). If Pulverize is faster please use it by all means 😁👍. I wish you luck on your Diablo journey. I'll be playing the Druid later in season 1 and testing the season 1 stuff at that point
For me, also pre season, was easier going pulverize because it’s so much damage and AoE (much better than the weak landslide aoe). I will try this one out in wt1 to try something different. Thx for the guide
@user-gp1xd7bm6w why though? Lol if you find pulverize fun and easy, use pulverize. Play the game the way you want. Especially if you're not going into the seasonal stuff. Enjoy the game the way you like bud.
I mean, if you have stuff in your codex you want to put on it, be my guest lol. I made this without the need for that so it would work for people getting through their first character
Used this to beat the barbarian king after Elias got stabbed in the neck. It definitely helped burn down the mobs he spawned which helped me generate the potions I needed to win the fight. That's a tough fight for a druid. I play on world tier 2. Thanks man.
@malterdwight448 after you clear campaign. You just need to do the capstone dungeon. Recommended level is 50, but with my barb and necro I cleared it 5 levels in advance haha. So it depends on how strong your character is and how perfectly geared you are
Yeah I'm doing a separate video on it to explain it in more detail. I do know how it works thoroughly, but I wanted to give a simplified explanation, because when you test it in the field, it will trigger a lot more often than people think, even with the low overall probability when you examine the lucky hit rolls.
This build has a lot of issues. First of all the 3rd point in endless tempest is extremely inefficient as it doesn't help hurricane. You shouldn't ever put that thing higher than 2/3. Plus Natural Trample is GOAT, with 3/3 abundance you should never have spirit issues, it takes like 3 basics to get full spirit plus you have a lot of other better options for spirit. A lot more issues exist but those are the main.
Adjust it as needed or to your taste. A build is just a general guide, never a hard and fast set of rules. If you feel that something else is better, go for it 😁👍. I rolled what I worked with and it cleared everything easily, but if you feel a different path is better, go for it
Lightning storm is your prime damage dealer..nature damage. You have a LOT of points enhancing nature damage, but this is a percentage of a small number. Lightning storm up to FIVE, before you enhance it. GUARANTEE that you are nerfing and gimping the hell out of your build.
You can roll it that way if you want, I am showing the way I personally did it and I had 0 problems. Most of your "enhancement" comes from proper affixes in gearing. That said, the recent changes do provide a nice improvement overall to Lightning Storms QoL making it much more viable to enhance early on if you'd like to do that.
Man I can’t thank you enough I was really struggling with leveling because I couldn’t do enough damage or survive this build is awsome thank you
No problem happy to help
High quality video and super detailed explanation! Well done, you gained a new sub!
Thanks my friend :D
I think you should post more mid game stuff. There is a demand and few people is supplying it.
Yeah I'll cover builds for Early, Mid, Late and End Game for all characters. This pre-season is more or less a way of me learning what the community needs so I can really drop the good stuff when season 1 comes out. I have other mid-game builds already out ;)
That said, some builds do require aspects to function (that is unfortunately, unavoidable). No aspects is only possible on Druid, Sorc and Necro (as they can standalone). For Rogue and Barb they require at least 1 aspect (covered in my vids as well)
@@RealAsianRobot Thank you for the reply! You are awesome
@nicholasyee6083 thank you for watching my content 😁✌️
Huge thanks my man. Abandon my Druid at 24 b/c it just felt bad at leveling. Discover your channel 2 days ago. Now I’m 36 and loving this class even more. Keep pushing that content my man!!
Thanks my dude. Hopefully I can update the build this week!
Thanks for the comment my dude :) I appreciate it!
Thanks for this. It was taking me 10-15 minutes for boss fights, now it's under 2 minutes @level 34.
No problem! happy to help!
Awesome video! By far the best walk through and step by step explaination I've been able to find.
Thanks my friend! This build is great for leveling. Just remember that you will need to switch late game 😁👍
You are the best and most precise out there man. Keep up the great work!
Thanks I aim to improve this for season 1 😁✌️. Thanks for giving my content a chance mate!
Thank you for this. When I got to my upper 30s it became a struggle. Now... I melt those who oppose me. Thank you again. Great mid level build.
No problem. Late game build coming soon
First video I’ve watched and used this build to help me finish the campaign and up to lvl 51, so thank you! Before hand I was using a build of using howl and wolfs and ravens and came about lvl 40, I just was not getting good results anymore. Really diving into this build videos got me more into the game. First time ever playing a Diablo game 😁
I love the in-depth explanation as well!
Glad you're enjoying it! I hope to push it to late game next week!
Easy Sub. Well- explained and without rubbish. Much appreciated. Blow this guy up.
Thanks, I hope to update the late game version by next week! :)
I never comment on anything, ever. That being said I used this and it was a game changer. A really fun way to play Druid for leveling. Thanks so much for this!
Glad to be your first comment :D.
That said, it's super fun. I can't wait to play more and move into late game with this as soon as i have time!
This works sir!! Thank you, changed my look on the Druid. Now I feel capable in T3
I'll be working on the late game for T3 hopefully by next week :D. Glad you enjoyed!
Trying to get my Necro to T4 first
Great build guide, just changed my build and following your guide with each level. Super helpful for someone new to Diablo. Thank you!

This build is awesome and so much fun to use! I’m a newcomer to Diablo so messing around with different powers was fun but it was a struggle to defeat hoards of mobs…I’m at level 29 now and it’s been a fun and breezy. This build makes me feel like Thor 🤣
Haha I love that feeling with this one too. Hoping to push it to late game next week (if I can)
Aye, this build works! Thank you!
Welcome back mate lol. I will always be slower than other creators, but I will always deliver the best product ;)
just ran this at 44 skill points for fun, its actually better then my other builds for lvling ty!
No problem. Happy to help. Enjoy the build!
This build is so awesome!
Thanks for enjoying!
I am gonna try this as soon as I reach level 30 or so! You earned my sub man, honestly your content is great, you deserve more
Thank you, I'll keep trying to do the absolute best that I can :)
I discovered this build on my own, but I run blood howl instead of trample for extra survivability, and the aspect which raises critical strike chance by 9%👌💯
Enjoy 😁👍. I preferred the unstoppable because I find I'm always desperate for that. But if it's working for you, enjoy!
Just wanted to pop in to thank you for this build suggestion. I was doing a shred/companion build i saw in an article and im having a lot more fun now 💪
No problem at all. I'm happy to deliver the good stuff 😁👍
Absolutely loving the Druid class, & this definitely is helpful. Was starting to get my butt kicked alot & overlooked some of the important skills in my storm druid
Glad it helped. I can't wait to update it next week honestly 😁👍. Hoping I get the time to do so. Working on Sorc and Barb asap
Really great build and breakdown explanation!

I will try to update druid by next week!

awesome build, at level 47 almost gave up on my build because of the low damage, but this build save the grind
Happy to hear it. Look forward to the late game build coming soon
what abilities were you using? I used Landslide build (with poison creeper) until I got to Tier 3 lvl 50 and it pretty much clapped everything. Landslide does an absurd amount of damage very quickly. Elites would die in like 2 casts.
@@fringehouse That's also a valid way to do things, but I hated the way Landslide worked, so pure storm was just easier to gel together for me :)
This bad boy still works I was struggling solo druid😅 now I'm saved
Lol damn, I'm currently on Darktide, much better viewership but I'm glad my old build helps
Which aspect is this?
@@steelesaldutti hey I’m not sure the name of it but you can get it from a dungeon just look at your map whenever you find a new area and you’ll see it I think I saw it on my map after doing act 2

Nice build. I'm running Poison Creeper and Blood Howl with storm skills. Works great for me too. I like the spirit management in your build though. Good stuff
Yeah run what you feel comfortable with leveling.
omg! Thank you. I have been strugglin with Druid. Coming from a Sorc and Rogue I was like "why does this class feel so slow and meh" and this feels so much better. Druid looks really good with aspects but man if you don't have em it feels bad. Anyway thank you again. This is actually fun.

@@RealAsianRobot Looking forward to it!
The best build so far 😍😍
Enjoy 😁✌️. Late game build coming soon!
Good job, mate! 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
@@RealAsianRobot You keep saying staff. I keep staying 2h axe. Do you know something I dont? 🤔
Thank you a lot, great build guide
Always happy to help players 😁👍
Wow here we meet again, but now you're famous thats crazy (I meet you first on dauntless).
I wouldn't say I'm famous, but I'm doing alright, building up my following. Diablo 4 is a great game and thankfully unlike Dauntless their devs aren't racist towards asians :P

Hello man! Thanks for the video. Which legendaries aspect would be used with this build?
You can use anything, but take note that this was designed for the pre-season. I will work on a druid build for season 1 but not so soon.
I am currently focusing on the Sorcerer and Necro.

Hey man thanks for the build. Was struggling with my druid. Are there any useful aspects to boost damage output?
The aspects are covered in the late game build coming later this week where we switch to a Pulverize Werebear druid instead (for massive damage and tankiness of course)
@@RealAsianRobot 👍 nice. Will it be possible to switch to pulverize build at lvl 48-50 ?

Can you please go over the best gear for druid what aspects are best to maximize this build and what modifiers to look out for?
This will be covered in the late game build next week :)
@@RealAsianRobot I think even the bow Rogue too... once I discovered Barrage there was no going back to Pen. Shot...
@@Rhunzzz I plan on doing a twisting blade rogue once I eventually make one. It just does so well in PvP. It's nuts
How were you able to have the two skills on the snake boon?? I only have 1 for each of my spirit boons
Go to Tur Dulra, talk to snake, hit the CHOOSE SPIRIT button. This will bond you to that spirit and allow you to select 2 boons for it
I have played Diablo 4 for about a week now and Storm Droid has to be the best Droid build I have seen tried, Warebear Pulverise build and died very easy in boss fights more so with the Slither Boss yet to test Storm Droid on that boss which read up on is very tough to kill.
How can you get so much sustain and lifesteal? Which skill gives you this power?
I suggest using them first
Interesting. Gonna give this a go. I'm level 46 I think and kinda stalled out.
This is ideal for getting up to 60. I hope to update this build by next week :)
Is there a late game Druid past this vid keeping these skills?
Not for the pre-season. I went pulverize werebear but the unique dependency made it awkward for end game. In season 1 I plan on experimenting on something that limits the unique dependency
@@RealAsianRobot so will I have to respec all my points then follow the next vid
@@TheDrPaulus Yup. It's a full change.
But please take note I stopped my druid leveling around level 70 as I want to try a different path for Season 1. The overall dependency on Uniques, completely turned me off the Werebear druid (even if it's strong)
What would be better with.this build? A 2 handed weapon, or single with totem?
2H Staff only, always :)
good stuff mate
Thank you!
When leveling up, is it best to level on the easiest mode? Or go higher if you can for more experience and better loot?
Higher my dude. I always go as high as possible
been running this build since lv 1! im lv 43 but starting to struggle. not sure if just unlucky with gear or what any advice? what stats should i prioritize on gear?
@@RealAsianRobot Thank you for the response! I am loving all the content including the dark tide stuff... uhh i love you?
argue immobile from poison creeper over 2 points element resistance better...also good for bad omen.
the points in endless tempest give hurricane 1.2 seconds..they are in there more for ult.
This is outdated. Check my new druid build for season 1. It's far better and uses poison creeper ;)
hey,you continued build beyond lv 50 and 60?
The level 60 update is out, but I switched to Pulverize Werebear.
Pure storm is good for leveling, but for higher world tiers, I needed to switch to keep up 😁👍.
Look for my late game druid build vid to see it
for extra survivability if you're running out of spirit a bit too fast, could you slot earthen bulwark in place of trample?
Yes, but if played properly, you shouldn't find yourself in that situation :) proper rotations will ensure you're okay
Hey, love this build guide, but i'm only lvl 30. Can I spec into it then just add the remaining skill points as I level up?
Turns out I can! thank you so much for sharing this build. My pulverize build was dragging me down. This one is waaay more fun to play and very satisfying to play also!
Absolutely you can. You can change builds anytime, just hit the refund points button and place the points accordingly.
Just take note that you will need to ensure your gear however benefits this build (you will be looking for gear that deals more damage to crowd controlled targets and vulnerable targets). Once you get that sorted, you are good to go!
Pulverize is great but only late game/end game because it requires so much legendaries and uniques to actually bring it to full power
I only post what I test so for now it's amazing for leveling but end game might be a different story, especially with uniques available
what stats do we want on weapon? crit dmg?
This will be explained in the late game vid as you mostly focus on stats AFTER 50. Once thoroughly tested, I'll have that vid out (hopefully later this week).
Do you have n Update for the Video ? This Build Is Sick 🔥🔥🔥
Can this build kill the butcher?
Done it multiple times live on stream. But anyway, you should ignore butcher until world tier 3 when you switch to the late game build (Pulverize Werebear), because World Tier 3 and up is where you need to kill him for Uniques (and of course he should be at least 7 levels above you).
No point fighting him early and mid-game cause:
1) He drops awful loot
2) He wastes your time which is better spent leveling.
Mostly because you're so tanky you literally cannot die
That vid was literally posted last night. Feel free to check it out
Can you do an every 10 levels skill/paragon points and possibly weapons? I switched to this and I rock now. Thank you
I update at 60 and then 80, 10 levels might be a bit tough kek
@@RealAsianRobot Thats good enough for me, Thanks
@@kainblack2114 No worries, more late game builds will be released next week while I push necro to end game
...the Lucky Hit effects you mention only happen on lucky hits.
Quick summary:
Lucky hit is calculated first on the SKILL.
Is this also useable Once you hit world tier 3? Currently lvl 54
It should be, keep an eye out for my druid streams next week since I plan on pushing it toward exactly that.
A lot of my testing is always done live on stream
Will do that! Thank you for the reply, I Will try to test it aswell
best aspects to run with this?
Refer to the late game build vid :) we switched to Pulverize Werebear as this Storm build is essentially for leveling and getting into World Tier 3. Hope this helps :)
You are the nature boi
Whooooo
Would you be able to a paragon board for this build please
The skill points (imo) will likely be allocated elsewhere since you'll grab the legendary aspect that boosts your armor 😁👍
what gems should i use?
This will be covered in the late game build vid coming later this week :). In general, you don't have to worry too much about gems till World Tier 3. I just slotted in mostly Emeralds for Armor (to Thorns the Trash mobs) and Skulls in the rings and necklace (for armor), weapons just whatever I got.
got a post 50 build?
Hard to say until I really work on the late game druid (which I will be doing live on stream this week)
Late game builds are where it gets fun 😈 and some may even totally change (like transitioning to Storm/Wolf or even switching over to full Pulverize).
+Damage to Vulnerable
+Damage to Crowd Controlled
Are two crucial stats for this build.
Also load up on Damage Reduction for your pants and chest 😁👍
Very informative. Thanks. Will keep an eye out for your late game druid build.
U should try to play warframe it seems like it would be your type of game anyway great vid
Thanks, I would if I was paid sufficiently 🤣🤣
I just die in T3 with this build. Doesn't seem to work for me. I have no sustain or good defense.
@@HansGrub fair enough. Give it a try! 😁👍
No codex?
I mean, if you have stuff in your codex you want to put on it, be my guest lol. I made this without the need for that so it would work for people getting through their first character
Big shit this build man :D
Uh thanks?
Used this to beat the barbarian king after Elias got stabbed in the neck. It definitely helped burn down the mobs he spawned which helped me generate the potions I needed to win the fight. That's a tough fight for a druid. I play on world tier 2. Thanks man.
No problem :) I only play on the highest possible world tier so my builds are always tailored for that
@RealAsianRobot I'm level 45. Not sure when I open tier 3
@malterdwight448 after you clear campaign. You just need to do the capstone dungeon. Recommended level is 50, but with my barb and necro I cleared it 5 levels in advance haha.
So it depends on how strong your character is and how perfectly geared you are
Did you explain trample?
Yes, it is for unstoppable and also for stuns on elites mostly :)
Hi, enjoyed your video but I think you not really understand lucky hit mechanic. Look into it 😊
Yeah I'm doing a separate video on it to explain it in more detail.
That said, the recent changes do provide a nice improvement overall to Lightning Storms QoL making it much more viable to enhance early on if you'd like to do that.
git gud? nah git gud build
Damn right!
Okay? Okay..
Yeah, okay? 😁✌️
Idk how you play this build in act 5 I got destroyed playing it. I changed my build to see if this was better and imo it’s trash
