The rock n’ roll legends livery on this car is based off of the Porsche 911 from cyberpunk 2077
Does anyone get the feeling that the wheels are a bit off..the left rear wheel looks slightly larger than the rest
Just wondering but have you ever noticed every single sand king swb. or lwb. custom or not have the same light blue shock towers ? even the yellow custom one that spawns across the street on 68 has the shock towers from the blue sand king custom that spawns there. Once you notice it they stand out like a soar thumb.

They honestly should've released the Comet S2 Cabrio and the Baller during Christmas and saved the Xeno for this week. Nobody's going to use a Christmas livery until next year, if more cars won't overshadow these ones by then.
Only thing that gives this car credibility is the roof

yeah, but they could have done it differently. Just recently bought the S2 and i really like the retro spoiler i put on. probably not gonna buy the cabrio, just a waste of money.

The less spoiler options is due to the convertible animations, higher spoilers would clip

I always customize my DLC vehicles before watching your video, and its amazing how similar our builds come out. Only thing different I did with this one was I went with a Metals Brushed Black Steel w/ an Ice White pearl and a Blaze Red trim color. Still came out very similar. Also, I feel like the Cabrio drives WAY better than the Coupe.
That’s probably because it does. The nerf made all the tuners worse overall.
I'm excited for this one, strictly because of the way it's basically an un-nerfed tuner car. It still hurts every time I think about all the tuner cars I barely touch now that none of them are as fun to drive (and think about all the money I dropped into all those cars) 😵😧
Imagine it with low grip tires. 🤩😂 I haven’t touched the Tuner cars either since the update dropped.

@@rizkyantoni3948 they were nerfed when the contract released as far as I can tell. You can't handbrake boost or curb boost and low grips and stancing have had the speed increases nearly removed
I've been absolutely loving this car, my new favorite car at the moment the perfect balance of luxury, performance and looks.
Really disappointed with this one. I feel like this could've easily been a customization option for the normal comet s2.
I think it would habe been better if R* added roofoptions like on the RT3000. So that we can choose from different roofs and maybe build a 911 Targa 4s.

Couple of nice things I’ve noticed with this over the standard Comet S2:
- The Pfister logo is in the middle of the steering wheel, whereas it isn’t on the standard S2 which really bugged me
- They’ve given this one a normal 3rd person camera angle as opposed to the really weird high and zoomed out one on the standard S2
the camera is like that because the S2 has those giant wing options, this one doesn’t have that.
Kinda like how the Club has a weirdly zoomed out camera despite it’s small size because of the fact that you could put gigantic speakers on it’s roof.

I hate those high camera angles it makes me not want to drive the car
One thing I've noticed is that with the hardtop S2, when you change thee window tints the headlight cover also changes with the tint, this S2 Cabrio headlight cover doesn't change 😁
To me, this car was a god sent. My dad had a 2017 911 4S and it was a convertible. So I’m super happy I can recreate it

I'm gonna buy this convertible version. I made my original S2 into a lime green GT3, imma make this one ultra blue with yellow accents. The perfect "I live in LA and this was a tax write off" car.

I would have preferred a Growler Spyder variant, or just an option like the RT3000 / Banshees. Just a preference, not a complaint.

Fun fact, the “Rock n Roll legends” livery is a reference to the Porsche 911 Turbo from Cyberpunk 2077
It also was part of a drip feed livery list that most people don’t know about, all the tuner cars have been getting updated liveries since the tuner dlc dropped, but most people don’t even know about this.
So is it available now? I tried to apply it last week and I couldn't find it

The handling files are different. Also the cabrio doesn't have the flags from the tuners cars.
Imagine if in the next dlc they give us a Cabrio version of the Growler (or a Porsche Cayman Spyder)

@@gangstagarf Tencent controls all the microtransactions on GTAO and they also designed the shark card system and in game economy but here's the thing..... Most of the people making these decisions have never played the game, some have never played a video game in their life.

Also really bummed we couldn’t paint the convertible top. I also liked being able to add a carbon dashboard to kill some of the interior color. And the brakes.. missed opportunity..

It's really terrible how they screwed up the gearing on the tuner cars but I'm glad they didn't break this one again (yet)

This looks really nice with Gentian Blue custom color, silver interior and bronze colored mercie wheels. Perfect for cruising around the map.
White or silver primary with red interior looks good too
To be honest the roof option could be just an option in the first s2 and call it a day, but no...for some reason, maybe they were getting short in the dead lines, which also can explain the interior of the jubilee, so they went: "oh, we don't have time to think to make another car, so, let's pick one from tuners and make it cabrio". xP
Its so you’ll spend over 2 mill go bust and buy shark cards thats why they make like 5 variants of the same car with like 1 tiny difference between each one then release it as like an updated version as the first then you just need to pretend you got a new car

I've been waiting for this car to come out. I have the regular S2, and I love it. I have the red stripe livery and my car is black. Omg, I was ecstatic when I was done. But I love convertible cars. And Porsche is one of my favorite car brands. And too see the S2 in a cabriolet version, it just looks amazing. So, I'm hoping this will either end up on the podium or the prize ride. Because, I want a cabriolet version. I totally forgot that the S2 was nerfed. But thank you DCA for uploading this video. It's amazing. I just cannot wait for you to upload the event week ones. You are probably the best GTA RUclipsr. Your awesome man.
I def was waiting for this one to drop over all the other cars. The teaser mission where you have to drive it back to the agency was my favorite for weeks because it gave me a chance to drive the car.

As much as people say this wasn't needed I wanted this, we barely have any convertibles in the game as it is.

whats really disappointing is that the S2 Cabrio is not usable in tuners races, which means the tuners class is already done for and left in the shadows, proves R* never cared about the “street race community”

I am a convertible kind of guy and I love my current Comet S2. So for me, I’m going to see if they let us use this car in auto shop heists (which I doubt) but if they do… I might just sell my Comet S2 in favor of this. But chances are I’m keeping both. I like using the S2 in those heists or at least having the option, and it’s a good reason to have two of virtually the same cars to customize differently.
I have every Porsche in game and this one is definitely underrated it looks good with the Ron livery and a gulf blue

No interior customization is a massive missed opportunity
This car is just a big disappointment, had they kept the interior customization and the secondary brake calipers and stitching (which was standard on the S2 Coupe) it would be a decent car, now I’m convinced this was just a placeholder

I like this car, and i'ma let Rockstar finish, but anything that isn't Iman tech compatible, is obselete at this point. I'm going to buy it and keep it in my garage for sure. I just need that no lock on, on my car.
Until now, I just feel like GTA missed the perfect opportunity to add the aventador svj, ferrari 296 gtb, and the 720s since the contract DLC is DLC for high roller luxury guys.

I bought another S2 coupe in preparation for the cabrio to go in my garage next to it. Aside from the Buffalo Stx, this was the only other car I was excited about in this update. Honestly I won’t be impressed by a GTA online update until mansions and new houses are added. The ones we have are much too old cheap and boring
same with garages, i own 1 standard 10 car garage due to the fact of how boring the vehicle layout is, i wish we had garages like the import export warehouse where they’re scattered around the garage

It’s like the people at R* in charge of new content releases are placing bets on how flagrantly lazy they can be with this stuff.
“I bet if we copy/paste another Porsche and give them a free xmas livery for it after xmas they’ll still spend $2M on it!”
Not to mention they released the Zeno: nearly a $3M car with the snow instead of the Mil Spec which would be more logical. You know people still bought a shark card so they could drive that super car in the snow. 😏

I think this comet doesn't have the same spoiler options as the s2 because if you open the top, the convertible animation will mess up the spoiler.

We need more convertibles and targa style cars, they've become very rare. Only reason I wouldnt have bought this car was if it had the "tuner nerf" ... Glad to hear it doesn't. Probably wont be high up when Broughy tests it, but who cares - new convertible (cabrio) that drives normal... Im in. Great work once again. New cars day schedule: DCA for style, Broughy for speed.
PS. Silver and red is a great choice, thats one of the 2 directions I'm going to do with this. Other option is a clean navy over a saddle brown interior.
Comparing this to the normal S2 is missing the point. Its either you a Porsche nut and you buy both, or you pick your favorite like most Porsche owners do. IRL there are 20 versions of the 991 so at least we can have almost all of them now. Two things that would have been great would have been a roof you can change the colour of and also a targa option.
Yeah they should’ve put the convertible P Pfister as an upgrade for the hard top P Pfister so we wouldn’t have to buy a whole Nother car that looks the same but different as its counterpart
