whats worse is the fact that the cars that have been took out are the cars used mainly by the car community. This is a sad day

if you bought the car you are good they are just not available on the websites no more.
Removing cars like the Comet and the Infernus hits hard considering the fact they've been around for a looooong time in previous GTA titles.

This is such a dick move by R*. The fact that they removed a lot of the OG/Day One vehicles is extremely disappointing, especially the Infernus considering that car has been around since GTA III.
I honestly think that a petition must be made to bring back all of those removed vehicles. Some of them I was planning on adding to my movie & tv car garage.

Funny thing is that most of the OG cars were still used by many new players... the comet for example was one of the most used vehicles throughout the GTA History... and now we can't even own them by going through LS custom...
I love the Comet, it was the second car I bought (after the Deveste Eight) and still have it today as a Retro Custom. Kinda missed the normal one so I bought one a few weeks ago and didn't install any upgrades, just a pleasant stock car

I think the worst part is the vehicle that has made SO MANY people quit (MK2) is still in the game but some of the cars I would have used (if I didn't quit 2 years ago) if the MK2 wouldn't blow me up 10 seconds out of the garage
Alsoin this new update they also nerfed the hydra but not the mk2 which makes no sense almost as if they want people to just buy only mk2s and ruin every lobby

This is by FAR the worst dlc this game has EVER received. Every single one of these cars are now unusable in racing events. You can't propose the use of a car which is impossible to buy. Not only that but a huge amount of these cars are some of the most enjoyable to drive in the game. You would very often see many of them in car selections for competitive racing events, and now you won't see any if nothing changes. In fact many people in the competitive community on pc have declared the game dead. It's absolutely impossible to host a high stakes event spanning over multiple races anymore.
And this is not even counting the issues they created by blacklisting every single prop that regular players don't have access to. So many tracks on pc contain modded props that have now been replaced with blue barriers. Countless tracks are now unplayable and will need to be rebuilt from the ground up, if it's even possible to rebuild them. I'm just baffled by rockstar's decisions. Unsalvageable company. Awful dlc.
I totally agree, i also dislike the fact that they had removed a few updates ago, i do not remember exactly, about a year ago i believe, SO MANY ADVERSARY MODES, RACES AND MISSIONS, LIKE seriously, only the 30 % is remaining now and i liked a lot of the now removed stuff.

Not saying this makes it any better, just mentioning that it's actually even worse. most casual players have never tried them

I agree with you, but I want to point out that you can still use the hidden cars in races...If you own them.
@@pedinhu18 you can use them, but in events I mentioned you are expected to practice for each race. You can't practice without the car. Of course you can still participate in the race because cars can be shared during the race but you will be off the pace of everyone who has practiced.
When I initially heard I was thinking it’d be like all the basic cars you can find out in the street. The key thing with them is that you’d still be able to steal them just not buy them. Thinking this would be a nice clearing of the websites now I think otherwise

I mean, I wouldn't be mad if they would just remove them from the game files because it would free some space up BUT NO REMOVE THEM FROM THE FUCKING WEBSITES BECAUSE WHY THE FUCK NOT
There is no reason to clear the website though.... There was no problem with it before. There where options to filter to the type you wanted like 2 door, 4 door or luxury. This is just a reason to make them drip feed or limited time in the fucking car shops around the place. Make them feel rare so they can jack the price of them up to make people buy more shark cards so they don't miss their chance of getting it.
This shit just makes me want to get a mod menu to be able to spawn any car I want now cause fuck Rockstar and their drip feed bullshit.

It's kind of sad that instead of adding a SEARCH BAR to the websites, they instead just removed a lot of actually great and useful cars from the websites, like the XA-21, one of my favourite cars in GTAO.
Also, they didn't remove them from the game completely, you just can't buy them form the websites anymore. You can still get them from other players, wheelspins, ls car meet prize, or from a car dealership. Maybe car dealerships will have a purpose now.

That custom jester was one of the few cars that was in story mode and they removed it so not only have they never added anything to story mode they have infact removed stuff.

THERE WILL BE NO GTA6 ONLINE - This is not GTA5 Online anymore - it's GTA Online. It's only shipped with GTA5. This is a seperate product. And it will live its zombie life as long as people pay enough for it. If not - it's gone and dusted like RDR Online.

Honestly. GTA 6’s story mode will probably be good. But the Online is going to be an over-monetized hellscape. They’re probably going to expect players to pay a monthly subscription just to go online, despite the fact console users already have to do that.
I’d love to dream that the greediness now is just Rockstar wringing out as much money as they can from Gta 5 before restarting and going back to their roots. But when the ceo of take-two literally says their games aren’t monetized ENOUGH, that dream dies. GTA online *alone* makes millions a month. If that plus the rest of the games take-two oversees isn’t enough, nothing will be.

Just a friendly reminder that if you have a friend that owns any car in the game you can take them down to the Car Meet and buy that exact car. It comes with all the mods and performance upgrades as well.

Holy shit same. 10 years ago, all I could think about was getting to finally play GTA V after what seemed like forever of playing IV. It's like the magic of anticipating a new game was 100x better than the real thing. Now, I couldn't care less about GTA VI.
I absolutely agree with what you said in terms of GTA Online it really is a shitshow and it's sad because GTA O had so much potential to be a good Multiplayer game. At least we still have the Campaign, which I really enjoyed playing trough and I'm still going to play. It's the only good thing about GTA V that's left...

I got back into GTA V again after a few years, and they removed all of these. A lot lf cars that released whilst i was away, i never even got to see before they were gone, so i keep seeing cool cars i cant even buy

The worst part is most of these cars will most likely be put in the new dealership which REQUIRES gta+, the re-7b is in there right now I know these cars can appear elsewhere, but I think they’ll mostly focus on the new dealership.

A huge amount of the playerbase is kids. So you can have your corporate RP, race, competitive communities but the cold mechanical suits at R look only at numbers. No one cares about me driving my sound proof black cogniscenti like a balla, they care about the meta kids.

They're going to have to reverse this decision. Even Brophy has told them they can't be doing this. Strangely though, I think I have like 80% of all the cars removed.

They have done stuff more controversial than this in the past and gotten away with it in the end. Most people keep playing the game anyways. It’s a business strategy. Just wait a couple weeks and see how they will get you to spend even more money on these cars than before. This decision will stay final, one thing Rockstar doesn’t do is change their mind.
I have most of them but I'm still pissy about this. A lot of these cheaper cars I used as placeholders to sell when new cars came along and they were easier to rebuy and customize. I sold the brawler last time I played it was some time in 22. But I had every intention of buying it again later
@@GuardianWithAGu broughy is a decently well known gta racing RUclipsr. Him and failrace do A LOT of racing on gta5 and both channels are going to take MASSIVE hits in their content because of this update (failrace just used an 811 in his video today). This is a bad move by rockstar

glad i owned most of these already. you don't see many people driving them but it's not an excuse to just get rid of them.
Just the fact they removed all of these vehicles and not making the DLC vehicles to roam around all over the map is literally putting salt on a wound. Thanks Cockstar.

I was wanting that. I was also wanting the Ford GT, the 1950s cadillac they removed (The same model Hank Williams died in, same color as his on the website and everything) the 0:43 car, and probably a lot more I'm forgetting.

The worst part is some cars are now completely un-obtainable. For example; the Ford GT (Bullet) cannot be saved off of the road because it's counted as "high end". And now you can't buy it, either. You'd have to hopelessly wait for it to appear on the casino wheel or at a car dealership, but even then, I don't think Rockstar would ever put cars from 2013 on the podium.
Yeah, and btw people from some countries (like Poland) will have the worst time ever getting these cars now because we can't use the wheel at the casino
When was the last time you saw anybody driving a Bullet? How many in the last year? This car has been available for a decade, don't worry about it.

This marks the point at which GTA:Online is now slowly dying, many can argue that it did for years, but this is something we have never seen before, a dick move no one could have pulled off, Rockstar just killed races, custom props, car guy's communities all at once.
For 5-10% of players, the game just simply lost the thing that was intersting in it. And don't get me wrong it is a big number once you realise how many players are out there, changes like this will slowly strip the game away from it's playerbase.
Maybe they want to kill Online for the Next GTA, seems plausible, for now it is almost certain that GTA:Online has only a few years left and this state of decay will only get worse
I guess you could say Rockstar/Take Two are committing an act of Grand Theft Auto with this change...

They most likely will because no one is standing up to rockstar. Plus people still buy their products and what not so as long as they’re making money, they couldn’t care less abt the player base.
Too many people lack the will-power to just say NO to a new shiny game (GTA 6). A game, that will 100% be as bad if not worse than 5 in terms of play-to-win practices and even more microtransactions. Hopefully people get tired of being given the run around by this garbage company and boycott them. They don't act like they appreciate their fanbase, they probably don't... and they don't deserve our money because of that. Just say NO to GTA 6 and RDR 3 if there is one. Let them suffer.

Good amount of Motorcycles were removed too, such as my most used bike: The Hakachou. I didn't use the Drag mainly because I like doing wheelies (as well as the obvious price difference) and the Hakachou could do wheelies that lasted so long, it was so fast before and after being fully modded. I'm sad no one will now get to experience why I prefer this bike over the Bati now.

0:03 this just shows how rockstar has changed, this was the same car used for the GTA 4 TBOGT DLC trailer, that's right, this car existed because of a dlc and died because of a DLC.

They do if you have a bunker it’s a glitch rn. When you store something in your mobile operations unit there’s a chance it might delete when you put it in the bunker so I guess that counts
