The Expanse is the only series I've ever seen where every time I watch it I get an overwhelming sense that every single person that worked on it in any capacity put in the most effort they possibly could to make it a success. Not a single detail anywhere was done half assed, even things like background computer screens had relevant and scientifically accurate information. It was an amazing production and is imo the crowning jewel of amazon prime.
I have to agree. I've just watched Season 6 after rewatching the previous seasons from scratch. I fired up my projector to watch these since my 65 inch TV just doesn't do justice to the fantastic sets and external scenes. The level of care and attention to detail throughout is exemplary - people really taking pride in their work. Wheel of Time, on the other hand, does look really cheap to my eye, despite the amount of money they're said to have spent on every episode. Both Amazon shows, but no comparison in terms of quality of design and execution.
When I was watching last episode, the scene with Holden resigning presidency... the whole scen felt like "Guys, were you even trying?" So no, not everything was perfect, made sense, or at least looked real.

A very interesting set! It is a pity that you cannot fit this interior design into the actual size of Roci! The concept of Vlad Fabry fits the real proportions. But for him, the deck does not turn out not as spectacular as in the show ...

If I had to guess, all of the wiring and conduits for the electrical props has to go somewhere, and it needs to be readily accessible in case of problems. Building the set on stilts allows the majority of the wiring to be run out of the bottom of the set, and therefore is easily accessible for the electricians to fix when things go wrong.
