Ashmurugesan. We did this "Mother of All hikes, last week.....the best hike,ever. Had everything one could ask for: gorgeous vistas,alpine meadows carpeted with crazily beautiful wildflowers of pleasing hues,wild wildlife ( we saw a momma and her two cute cuddly black bears,a ram at close quarters,marmots,squirrels,soaring eagles, awesome, awesome lakes,the Grinnells lower and upper taking the cake,the lower was simply the best sight the eye could behold, turquoise,serene,the upper Grinnell,lovely with floating icebergs and the Grinnell Glacier at the farthest, with the Salamander Glacier hanging above--------- oh my God,if this isn't Heaven,then what is......plz make it once,if you are fit. It's once in a lifetime chance. I thank God and my daughter and my SIL who made it possible for me and my wife. I am 65,and my wife 59. If we could do it,you can. Thank you
Awesome video. I did this hike just 2 days prior and that waterfall at the 3.5 mile mark had receded substantially in 2 days. On the 13th there was no way to traverse that spot without getting drenched. Which was pretty refreshing actually.
Thanks for watching! Thats crazy how fast it receded! You're right, it was really refreshing on the way down. It started to get pretty hot so i was definitely looking forward to that part of the trail.
