It just seems that Rudolph Valentino was like the male equivalent of Marilyn Monroe. Both were very attractive and both died in their thirties - Rudolph at 31, and Marilyn at 36. Both were superstars, but their personal lives were far from perfect.

Rudy had such a sad short life with incredible success and riches
He loved women who were so wrong for him!
But he kept seeking out the same type of independant women who cared more for their own success and used his fame to improve their
      own careers.
The most beautiful man of all time
      was extremely lonely and looking
For someone to love him for

Unfortunately the technique of sound recording on magnetic tape reels was only invented in the midst thirties.
Before that any early radio broadcasting done in the twenties could not be recorded.
It just aired live once and then it was gone, lost forever to the cosmos.
So sadly all radio broadcastings, which Valentino might have done, are in fact lost forever.
Only these two records on shellack, which he had made on May, the 14th, 1923, have remained with us.

The boxing segment is not correct. It is from around 1925. Valentino was taking lessons with Jack Demsey and was sparting with a pro named Delmont. They would spar at 6 am before Rudy went to the studio. In 1926, just before he died, he fought a sports reporter named O'Neill on the roof if the Ambassador Hotel...the muscle-flexing but seems to come from that PR event. In the dining sequence, Dempsey and his wife are shown...she was supposed to act with Rudy in his next film which never happened.

    Just to add..
Baltasar Cue book wrote The True Rudolph Valentino after his death. Cue used the materials and notes he had from Valentino, whom he was working with to write his definitive story. He includes what he cites as the last photo of Rudy in the offices of the Strand Theater in NYC where the SOTS was playing. I can only say that his youthful glow was gone. He was out at night, feeling unwell, and not taking care of himself.

He looks awesome in "the son of the sheik". Healthy, fit and strong.
I agree that he would have probably aged badly. But still he was a good actor, and had a sense of humor. He was Italian, most of them do not take seriously anything, not even themselves. He would have been able to play the villain, the gangster, or comic roles.
He made a bad decission with Rambova. Valentino wanted a family, Rambova was a pretencious woman who always placed herself first.

The Unbelievable Thing is that Boxing Match that He Had with that Writer Who Filled In For the Yellow Coward, Hit Rudy With a Body Blow that Some Feel Caused the Perforation. This Makes All The Sense In The World But Rudy Never Would Have Dreamed of That Happening. Anyone Who Has Night Time or Day Time Reflux Will Tell You How Horrible the Burning Is. It Will Wake You From Sleep. I Have Had It For a Couple Years Now. Even If I Dont Eat, I Still Get Burning. I Have to Sleep Upright. You Can Drink Marshmallow Tea with Either MCT OR OLIVE OIL IN IT AND THAT WORKS TO STOP THE ACID FROM BURING YOUR ESOPHAGEAL WALL. Anyhow, The Lining is Left Weak and It Takes Time to Heal. If You Get a Hard Enough Punch There, You Will Go to The Hospital. In this Video, You Can See The Punch and Rudy’s Reaction To It. It is Immediate. He Stops Fighting and The Fight is Over. VERY SAY! The Guy He Boxed, He Could Have Easily Stayed Away From and Been Alive Today. It Is Beyond Sad! 😞

Can't help wondering if that last blow to his lower left abdomen during his sparring could have caused the rupture to his appendix? Notice how he grabbed that area in pain.
In those days people paid little attention to relate things. Or perhaps his sparring partner might have been charged with involuntary manslaughter. But it's water under the bridge now.
But for a man so young and physically fit, one can not help suspecting foul play somewhere.
Growing old can be choresome. But people like Valentino and Monroe are immortalized as Forever young - Forever beautiful.
Leaving behind a body of work that captured them in the peak of their beauty and sensuality. Forever young - Forever loved.
Valentino is by far the most sensual and beautifully charismatic actor I have ever seen. Maybe DiNero is his younger days. But Valentino leaves today's actors in the dust.
    RIP Valentino 💖

The movie scripts he brought on set and given to the director came from his wife Natasha who would hold a seance every night calling forth help from the spirit world in her creative undertaking. Then pencil in hand she would go into a trance and begin writing. So in other words, the movies you see him in were literally handed over from the demonic realm.

He actually could be caught looking less than perfect in certain photos...some reviewers said he could actually be ugly. But that's true for everyone, even the most photogenic. But. for sure...the professional portraits and the films were shot to enhance his looks. He WAS very good looking though...but by the end, he was exhausted and unwell.
