Things are less hectic now but I am still busy with work and life, so I will try my best to continue uploading matches at a pace I'm comfortable with. I may not be able to refilm matches but please let me know if there are any misplays I missed so I can take note of them - feeling a bit nervous as it's been a while and I'm very much still in the process of warming back up.

"A key to the Holy Realm is finally within our grasp." Lilithmon's eyes narrowed. "That tiny thing is supposed to open the gate for us? A gate that all seven of our powers combined can't even dent?" Barbamon sniggered. "Not from the outside, Lilithmon my dear, but the inside." "The inside?" Lilithmon's brows furrowed in confusion. "How?" At that very moment, the vat stopped rumbling. The sparks faded. The flow of the current slowed, but its colour never returned to its original bright azure. It remained tainted in violet, the same colour that now pervaded every byte of the Crest of Friendship. With a deepening smirk, Barbamon passed his left hand through the glass and claimed his prize. "Why," he sniggered. "With the power of 'friendship' of course." TO BE CONTINUED...
Dude that fight was sick. Honestly I thought it was Cherubimon's round but nope even, when I saw it I still can't believe Dominimon somehow pulled out an upset and came back with the win.
Great to see you back! Always fun to see both decks do their thing. I also wanted to add something that was missed that wouldn’t have affected the game at all but worth noting. Around the 3:15 mark when you digivolve Patamon using its effect into BT15 Gatomon, since the security is reduced at the same time that the digivolution is complete, Gatomon is able to trigger its All Turns effect. The principle is the same as if Gatomon is played from security using the effect of ST10 Mastemon. Keep up the good work and excited to see the rest of the tournament!
Welcome back Rust, really miss your matchs, glad to see you again :D On thing, at turn 2 for dominimon, when pata evolve into bt15 gato, its gain 1 memory because sec was removed, its just like dorumon when atached to sources. regards
3:45 with the new ruling, the Gatomon sees itself leave security when it's evolved onto, but not when trashed, as it's playing itself back from trash. so Dominimon would have had 1 extra memory, unsure if it would have changed things
Glad to have you back Rust; your videos are some of the best on the site at showing off what new decks can do. And this returning feature, an epic clash of the three great angels, is no exception. Let’s see; looking at the upcoming matches, I’d say I’m rooting for the Seven Great Demon Lords, Shakamon, and Mastemon. Shakamon is probably the biggest underdog on that list, but as one of the most surprising new decks in EX6, I really hope it can pull something off so we can see more of it.
I'm glad to see tournaments back! Cherubimon had a really great showing, and you convinced me on the power of the st17 Lopmon. Definitely think I'll add a couple copies of bt4 Lucemon for extra dp and recovery since it probably helps cover Cherubimon's defensive weakness, but this list is a great starting point!
Man I missed these tournaments videos. Sadly I’ll have to drop Digimon as I’m moving and nowhere around where I’m going carries the game which is unfortunate I’ll still definitely keep watching the videos and keeping up with the game just in case I can jump back in though.

Welcome back Rust very good match and editing again. There is a slight misplay I spotted and maybe can be fixed in the next video. Patamon when digivolve to Gatomon from security the effect of Gatomon seeing security reduce will trigger and causing extra +1 memory from this effect. This also applies to Revelation of Light (BT15-092) if playing Gatomon from this option.
@rustmarrow its a very easy thing to miss, and ive had some argue if its a real rule constantly, but its a thing. Luckily it didnt seem to affect the game that much asside of putting cherubi to 1 instead of two in their final turn, but both times it didnt really matter and the worst outcome is you'd have to not play green training and just evolve Wendigo into antylamon to naturally draw the chrubimon that was already on top.
I know is a lopmon thematic deck, but In my opinion, changing the 2 lopmons ST17 and 2 Lopmon X for 4 of the Terriermon ST17 will help, cus you can play any of the tamers just for 2 or any other lopmon for 1. IMO that Terriermon is almost mandatory now in almost any green deck and more on the Terrier/Lopmons decks. But excellent video, I was thinking on how I will modify my deck when EX06 comes and this help me a lot.
Yep I definitely agree! Couldn't resist making me a full Cherubimon tribal build though... especially when it ended up being a fallout match between the 3 Great Angels
THE KING HAS RETURNED! Oh man though, these matchups do not look great for my favourite decks. Unless Ragna gets ST Brywe into sources it’s definitely gonna die to 7DL. And even with that 7 GDL has their option removal Shakamon vs Diabolomon is also a tough matchup. Unless Shaka is running Venus and Valkyrie ACE as their 6s, it’s gonna be a rough one
It’s wild how close the Cherubimon/Lopmon deck actually came. They were so close to victory, only to have it snatched from them at the last second. An awesome battle for sure. It’s too bad we didn’t get to see your Cherubimon Vices come out (other than the X form, but idk if I’d count that), I’m curious as to why you run the version from ST17 and not the EX4 or EX6 versions
@myrkurRT is right! When Patamon evolves into Gatomon from Security (or through Emissary of Hope / played by Revelation of Light), Gatomon is never sent to the Trash first so her [All Turns] can resolve immediately when she's evolved / played! I accidentally missed it oops!
Happy to see your back. I fucking hate the Dominimon deck though. Yellow was toxic enough to play against, it didn't need to get worse. Really hope we got more cards like Kongou.

ooohh, i've played the ragnaloard VS SGDL with a freind of mine. they have issues trying to deal with the big guy once he has his 'true shield' up (both bywrs underneath him)
How much I hate this Yellow Vacine Angels. Always digivolving for 0 from you sec, then recovering and then gaining memory for the recovery. Sad that Cherubimon already lost Round 1.

Jokes aside, it’s great to have these back! There’s really nothing else on RUclips quite like them, and it’s always nice to see such a high volume of the new decks and what they’re capable of. Especially less “exciting” decks like Shakkamon. And as much as I’d like for Cherubimon/Lopmon to get some kind of wins (like at all, it’s not gotten any tournament representation), it’s not like Terriermon won’t be getting some wins next tournament

What worries me about ex06 is how yellow and purple heavy it is. Yellow was already the best color after bt16 and purple had to be smacked by the banlist a lot recently. Im a bit scared the ex06 meta will be absolutely yellow dominated.
I dont know who needs to hear this or who needs to take inspiration from it but. With anytlamon and cherubi mon effect u can spawn bt4 lucemon for recovery +1. Also funnily enough cherubi X even though its the purple one is still vaccine attribute

When patamon digivolves into gatomon from security, it also triggers her effect. Giving you another memory.
This is not true, if Gatomon is trashed from sec, it is still in the trash hence do not gain the memory

Cherubimon Alliance doesn't trigger because it wasn't there when the attack was declared.
