I like that you massaged the presentation to fit your personality vs. imitating Slydini. I’m working on a presentation at this time that matches mine. Don’t mind the critics - you performed this for your friend in the video, not for the camera and us. - and it worked.
He did reveal it. He controlled and lapped it while placing the card in the fan. Then after he showed his hands empty he retrieves the card from his lap and palms it. When he gestures onto the table to say did you check this one? , he then drops the palmed card in the table.
Don't want to be a bummer but I see you place the card down, whereas I have watched Slydini do this over and over and I can't see him drop the card on the table. Slydini was a true master, his coin work is just amazing.
@@Onoins425then why film it? By posting this online, you have a new audience that exceeds buddy in the video. I completely agree that it’s obvious when you steal and when you deposit the selection. Some tricks are just not worth attempting for a reason.
@@kyleleon85I've watched slydini do it and caught the move, if you know how its done you'll catch it every time. This guy did it well, don't hate because you can't do it as well
Good, although I wonder if this trick can be performed differently. The way this routine is done worked really well for Slydini's cranky persona. I am not sure it works well for performers with a different aura. In your case, you are a very sympathetic, warm magician. And I feel this presentation suffers, because you are not entirely compatible with it. At least, in my opinion.
I'm so sorry but this "Helicopter card" isn't Slydini. Too much time to insert the selected card in the fan at 0:15 and this is not natural. Slydini would disapprove this.
Thanks for revealing 👍
Beautiful. Bravo!!
Well done mate you’ve got that spot on
The 2nd time you did it was so cocky and cheeky, i just can't. HE WAS LOOKING AT HE STILL DIDN'T SEE IT, HA!

Very well done!
Love it mate, great work 🤞
Perfect! Just like the master.
you are comparing this man to slydini?
@@TAROTAI who is Slydini?

Very smooth!
indeed
@@pierresavioz Bah tiens salut cher confrère ! 😃
very nice.
Flash @1:04 & flash @2:57 & palming (coupled with timing) is the underlying key
Quite sure after you watched the video several times in slow motion, you saw a flash. In real time, this was a very sound performance.
I saw Slydini live once...he was awful.... couldn't even do the 21 card trick... It was embarrassing
@@Onoins425 really? 🤔i thought he was great🤔

Does this steal have a name?
Yes
@@francescotec4461 very helpful. For anyone else it's called the Copter Control.
@@weemanling Actually no.
@@francescotec4461 I'm literally reading the book by Slydini, this is the Copter Control.

not quite as subtle as Slydini.

I met Slydini in the 80s...he saw my version and said it was much better than his, but I already knew that 😂
