An old trend dating back to 2004. There's always been bots and there's always been botkillers. It's a feature not a bug. I used to have a /duel macro back in the day to trigger bots to enable pvp. It's just now with hardcore it's no longer a lvl60 only sport.
so big brain of you, instead of focusing on killing bots yourself one at a time, you focus on grinding levels. Now not only are you stronger so you can screw with bots easier and more safely, but more importantly you have a bunch of gold, so you can make bounties like this and get the whole community after them! Great job!! Loving this!

I reported all bots I saw during leveling and most of the times told many many people to also report them if they were nearby, but NONE of the bots got banned. Its a shame and almost makes me quit the game. The bots steal our quest mobs and ruining the economy
Yep, they dont get banned... 8 months i reported the 30x lvl 60 scarlet monetary bots... They were there till the very last day of the server :D And they will be on this server too. Mark my words, in 1 month from now you'll see +30 level 60 bots in scarlet monetary for 18 hours per day.
I reported in TBC and Wotlk Classic dozens of Bots on a daily basis and only got MAYBE once in a month a massage from Blizzard that they Banned "some." When checking the typical spots again they were still there...
Its absolutly crazy how Blizzard is doing nothing against this plague. Never feel bad for going private if you think they dont deserve your money. Probs to you to cleanse the server and start an incentive!
You should think about making a video guide showing and explaining the techniques people use to kill these kinds of bots. I'd want to try playing on HC just to try it but wouldn't know how.
I am all in with this game of cat and mouse, I wanna see the community get more and more complicated as the bot developers make more and more adaptations from these videos
They've already changed quite a bit since I started hunting them on the other Hardcore server. Their pets have changed from Chinese characters to actual names now. But that's just 1 out of 50 tells so doesn't change anything. :D
Guys, I am what would be considered a casual player but this activity has captivated me. I am playing on the US server, Skull Rock (Era) and Doomhowl (Ani) and wondering what the discord channel is to join and begin assisting with removing this scourge from this game. I am not the best player but keen to learn and be a part of this growing movement.

@@Madskillzzhc A very well-known bot spot at that level are the Harpies in NW Feralas; they drop good loot and are extremely easy to kill, so it has always been a bot haven from 48-51. Also for 43-47 the Hippogryphs in Feralas ALWAYS have at least 2 bots present because there are so many of them and they are also really easy to kill. Lots of bots in Feralas, I suggest you check it out; you will rarely be disappointed.
@@noeltan1455 Just like hunters, they are fairly safe to play. I suspect it has to do with the bubble disengage option, to simply bubble and run away, without the fear of being dazed. Paladins also don't have to worry about having a pet leashing aggro onto them, which this channel, among others have used in order to kill the botters.
Its all good. I play the game so much that I can finance it. If people donate, the gold will be put untop of the bounty that i already pay. So it will just be even more g for the winner :)
Ofc not. Got 410 gold so far and im not even lvl 60 yet. Just play the game and you will get all the gold you need. Crafting cured rugged hide once every 3rd day, they sell for 50gs then found two blues. Other than that i just play the game :S
Imagine if this takes off and Blizzard will introduce a new in-game purchase like "bot hammer" that for a modest sum of $69 will allow you to kill a bot user in HC

Ask for Gold donations to pay the bot killers. If you get from everyone 1-10g donation you can easily pay your bot killers.

@ it wasnt one of the bountys but one of the bots this was 8 lvl over the mobs it was killing insta report and banned day later
