there is no stopping bots. There is a reason why blizzard doesn't ban them. They bring materials to AH and keep prices normal. I hate to say it but if there is zero bots, same thing will happen that happened to deviate delight server that didn't have any bots at the beginning. AH was empty, there was nothing to buy.
@@Sumppathe reason blizzard don’t ban them are greed, money.. nothing else. It cost money to have active GM’s searching for them, and they loose money by banning them.

In a way yes, but still. Crazy russians and crazy taiwanese people can do a lot of damage with personnal information. Like if they find your real name, name of your family, where you live, all your other account on the internet etc, they can at least harass and spam everyone. Both online and irl with pizza deliveries, raids, fake craigslist announces..
Easy to say that when it's not your ass on the line. If some random faceless nobody on the internet threatened to kill me, and then sent me a picture of my house, I would take that threat very seriously.
Dude, it's easy, make a new char, new name, new channel and don't talk and hunt those bots. It can still be fixed. Save the videos and then just attack the bots. Also, if you have not given them your ID, do NOT call the FBI, because then they WILL know who you are.
People that want him to keep going are missing the point. His fun little innocent RUclips side project where he hunts bots, now turned into something "serious" because they have his info. Even if the threats are hollow, it can still be a huge headache knowing someone can send SWAT to your appartment at any time.
Bro, they are doing nothing about it. They are a bunch of losers. Simply ignore them, I get threatened as well from time to time. Botters are just desperate and willing to say (not do) anything to stop you.

Do they actually have any information about you? Name, address, e-mail address? If not, these are just hollow intimidation attempts from 3rd world countries. Their goal was to intimidate you with mere words.
Its probably true but I get his perspective, if he has a family he needs to be concerned about even a 0.0001% chance it will be followed through with might be too much risk for him. But also a death threat has more credibility behind it when you are messing with peoples money and we know that there is a lot of money in the black market of WoW. I wish him the best and totally get his decision.
look at it this way. If they had any plan of doing anything to stop you, they would just kill your character. A few of them could team up and drag mobs over you same as you do them. boom! send you back to lvl1 and be free for a month.

Would have never thought a bunch of lazy people swiping their card in video games would ever lead to mass death threats by absolute oxygen thieves. Honestly, what a sad state.
The amount of people that are mocking you and disliking the video for this, really paints the picture about how petty and horrible the classic WoW community is.

People talk 💩, it's something you learn in life eventually. But I get it, I was doing it for cash, girls and glory. I've worked in both parts of the industry. You're not in any real danger. It used to be these were communication networks. Now, it's just low level nobodies using the skeleton of the communication apparatus as digital markets for commodities. The threats also likely came from within the United States. The mafia knows better than to sing a song about a job they haven't done yet. Keep that in mind. If you are ever threatened online and believe it's credible report it to the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation. Most RMT networks are run by US citizens.
Yeah sounds more like intimidation than anything especially the gruesome parts that just sounds like a power fantasy. But in the end, I can understand why he would quit. Game is made to be played and have fun over, not bot hunting and getting death threats over it.

You know more about this than anyone but I would honestly say these threats are completely empty. If you actually feel unsafe and think they are credible threats then you should contact law enforcement. Also if it's stressing you out then it may be best to stop but I honestly wouldn't worry and lose sleep over this because no one is going to put a hit on you for killing bots in a video game. If you don't feel safe though and you think it's not worth it then yeah you should stop. But maybe think it over for a little bit because I doubt these threats have any real meaning.
If they were really going to do something they wouldn't say anything, now if something unrelated happens they've self implicated. I've had dozens of threats against my life on the internet, I've only found it funny but I don't have a family and I'm sure that makes all the difference.

It's gonna be Stitches all over again. Once they hype dies down and people once again, like always get demoralized they just come to accept that this game is meant to have bots in it and people just give up. Bots will be in SM 18 hours a day and farming in Tanaris and Winterspring like always and people go back to buying gold and then it kills the spirit of the game and the server like it did on Stitches. It's just that when a new fresh server comes out after 5 years everybody is so hyped because maybe this time it is going to be better. But people know deep inside that unless action is taken by Blizzard it's going to be the same all over again. Bots and premades are the classic killers.

Not that I am trying to convince you, because you will do what you want, but that's a thing that should just get reported to appropriate law enforcement.
Anyway I totally understand your decision.
everybody gets death threats on the internet man. dont let them win
Dude really took a death threat. Seriously. Oh it took was someone to name a number in DM to him? That's scary how easily he is manipulated lol
Yes it happens a lot, but when seeing a organisation doing it it might get really scary for some. very likely there will never come anything of those death threats, but there is always that one psycho, and like said if a mafia starts talking about wanting you dead its gets real
@@CatsLilaSalem this isnt an organization, its akin to your 12 yr old neighbor calling you a b***ch over xbox live 🤣

Someone share this in all big WoW Discords. We owe you something, you are a legend, not a loser.
Is this actually happening? You’re really gunna let it all go? You started a revolution dude.
there is no stopping bots. There is a reason why blizzard doesn't ban them. They bring materials to AH and keep prices normal. I hate to say it but if there is zero bots, same thing will happen that happened to deviate delight server that didn't have any bots at the beginning. AH was empty, there was nothing to buy.
@@Sumppa this is patent bs
@@Sumppathe reason blizzard don’t ban them are greed, money.. nothing else. It cost money to have active GM’s searching for them, and they loose money by banning them.

In a way yes, but still. Crazy russians and crazy taiwanese people can do a lot of damage with personnal information.
Like if they find your real name, name of your family, where you live, all your other account on the internet etc, they can at least harass and spam everyone. Both online and irl with pizza deliveries, raids, fake craigslist announces..

3 weeks since "The Bots will NOT be safe on Fresh Hardcore"
This is so sad!
Dude, it's easy, make a new char, new name, new channel and don't talk and hunt those bots. It can still be fixed. Save the videos and then just attack the bots.
Also, if you have not given them your ID, do NOT call the FBI, because then they WILL know who you are.
it's easy, oh stfu. do it yourself!
yeah you can do AI voiceover, upload over VPN whatever to make you feel safe.
@@jacob1121 ??? You realize that concealing your identity only works if you're not already identified, right
People that want him to keep going are missing the point.
Botters are just desperate and willing to say (not do) anything to stop you.
do they tell you your personal info too on those threats?
Fully understandable dude. You did your part and sparked an exciting new movement. Now it's time to take care of yourself and your loved ones, nothing is more important than that. Wishing you all the best!
The internet's greatest mistake was connecting the civilized world to the uncivilized.
Just give the third world their own internet. Let them scam each other.
People are doxxed all the time, with ease.
he commented they have "all his info", doesn't sound good
Cowardice. Imagine being afraid of emaciated 17 year old tai kids living in a shoebox half the world away. Yikes
look at it this way. If they had any plan of doing anything to stop you, they would just kill your character. A few of them could team up and drag mobs over you same as you do them. boom! send you back to lvl1 and be free for a month.
Killing a player that does not fall for that is not possible. As long as you dont hit nothing will happen to you.
A rust creator named @Sleth got death threats too (the video is called ''Why I haven't been uploading...(serious video)''

I've spoken about you to many people since I discovered you dude. Even people who don't play WoW lol.
Truly the hero we do not deserve, you will be immortalised by your righteous fight against the swarm.

If that is true it just shows how much money they make with those bots. Blizzard needs to get their shit together.
Its true. MetaGoblin did an expose of exactly how much money is involved. The guys at the top are making more than Bliz makes in profit from their games. Hundreds of Millions a Month. And they are mid-level.. they are cogs in bigger machines that include nation states.
Those subhumans don't have the power to actually do anything in the real world, they can fantasize all they want but they're powerless in reality. Your videos were entertaining, it's unfortunate that you won't be making any more.
Would have never thought a bunch of lazy people swiping their card in video games would ever lead to mass death threats by absolute oxygen thieves. Honestly, what a sad state.
A very lame ending to this saga lmao. They are bottom feeders in another country, they aren't going to do anything to you.
Then replace him. He has a family to protect.

Most RMT networks are run by US citizens.
also, never jump into an untrusted Discord. Never again. Just trust me on that. Don't. That goes for ALL of you. Discord is not what you think it is.

NAH FUCK THAT, DOUBLE DOWN, TRIPLE DOWN EVEN.
Also call law enforcement lmao

Bots and premades are the classic killers.
so all those gold farmers just feed their mafia overlords and blizz does nothing... sigh

But not everyone actually effects their multi-million dollar industry.
I dont think people understand the length these people are willing to go. The youtuber who pranks scammers had literally 2-3 hitmen trying to enter his home while he was in India, for us 20 dollars is 20 dollars, for these people 20 dollars is equivelant to a months pay. They dont fuck around, a hitman is like a few months worth of botting to delete the issue once and for all.
