A Frenchman hosting a seminar on a Japanese martial art that is having his words translated into Italian. This is one HUGE reason why I love martial arts, it brings people together.

Ancora grazie!

George Chen this is garbage, it’s idiots dancing and jumping around. Your are and idiot too if you think this is martial arts. A real martial artist like rickson Gracie could go through everyone in the room in 1/2 an hour or anyone trained in Muay Thai for a couple of weeks would destroy anyone in the room too. Pull your head out of your ass.

@@shozby i train boxing, i know very little about aikido, but i think its nature is based on the science of body movement. However, there is no real fighting in Aikido, so the learners find hard to deal with real situations, explaining why there is high chance for a 3-month muay thai guy to easilt win a 3-month aikido guy. But if they put a lot of full contact fighting into aikido during practice, I think it would become a really dangerous martial art. So before commenting, use your head to think deeply, brain is for thinking, not for decorating 😏 hope u understand, kid 😏

I always findeChristian Tessier so hard to comprehend. His facial expression never changes, or something, but he is so difficult to figure out the difference between do and don't do or the subtlety of his explanation. Then he lifts up his Hakima to show his foot technique but I never see what he is showing. I've done two seminars with him and I always end up with a headache trying to figure out his point of explanation. And of course no one ever dares to say they don;t understand but they remain absolutely silent not knowing how to answer. Which is a sign that people are confused. Because if people did understand they would quickly say yes.

    • @laumia2499

Lau Mia hi Lau Mia, I think you are wrong. Shomenuchi and yokomenuchi are both attacks from bukiwaza, like a lot of techniques. But if you practice hombu style I understand your reasons. In fact, these attacks are just in aikido, not in others martial arts and you don’t practice bukiwaza as the founder taught....

Sorry, there is simply too much bullshido shown. I have a hard time to like it. I think Christian could do much better, and you are doing Aikido no favor by making it no martial art.

Aikido is like Iaido or kyudo ..arts not created for the brawl...

None of Aikido technics work in real life. For self defence it would be better not to train Aikido, and just act by your natural instincts.
