Fair play Bev. Wonderfully insightful interview with the fantastic Lucy. Not easy to spill our hearts out in public but I’ve no doubt this will be a great support to others and give them hope in times of desperation. Inspiring and very engaging interview. Congrats to you both. John G in Dublin x

Hi Bev! I had the same diagnosis as yourself the day after my first birthday. I'm so sorry to hear that you couldn't remember certain things like even remembering your own children. I'm pleased to hear that you eventually got all the right medical support. I also have speech problems like word finding, getting anxious, I get very anxious especially during conversations because I find them very overwhelming and we do share some after effects so that's interesting information. Yes I totally agree with staying positive and living in the present. I have suffered various emotions (but different ones). My advice is to be patient with yourself, take time out and give yourself extra time for things you struggle with. Never give up hope!
