Keychron is my favorite mechanical keyboard. I've tried other brands and go back to Keychron. I have 3 Keychron keyboards. You had blue switches on your other keyboard. Red switches are quiet. Brown switches aren't as loud as blue switches. Welcome to mechanical keyboards. You won't go back to a regular keyboard. You can get a low profile mechanical keyboard from Keychron. Enjoy your keyboard!
Well after I thought about it, the loud keyboard I had was the Logitech MX Mechanical and those keys were so loud. This brown is right where u love it and I can see myself with this keyboard for a long time.

Enjoy! I got an original Q3 before the Max version, I'm curious as to how this one improves over the original. As far as getting into mechanical keyboards more, be careful as the modding and customization rabbit hole goes deeeeep. I fell in myself and had no idea how crazy a hobby it can be.
I went forward with ordering Keychron V1 Max as Q1 Max, 75% layout that I prefer, as Q1 Max is out of my budget. This will be an upgrade to my older, trusted and modded K2 v2, which after mods sounds (thocky and silent) much better than factory Q1. Surely am planning to mod the new V1 Max and hope it will be even better.
yes, mechanical keyboards are coveted, cool and expensive… but I cannot explain why I’m so hooked to my Lenovo® ThinkPad® TrackPoint Keyboard II! so much so that I bought another one 🤪

Word of advice: if you love that keyboard, just stick with it for awhile. Mech keyboards can become every addictive and very painful on the wallet.

The RGB not lighting up the key caps is kind of dissapointing for this price. The point of RGB is to be able to type while it's dark.
