- This 4WD trip on Mornington Island (Australia) was NEXT LEVEL!!! In this adventure, the boys have received word about a secret fishing spot from the local rangers.
As soon as they head off the beaten track with their 4x4 rigs fully loaded, the team quickly learns that getting there won't be as easy as they first thought. Even the powerful Back in Black 79 Series LandCruiser struggles in one section of 'creek crossing carnage'.
The effort to get there is worth it with mangrove jack, queenies and fingermark on the bite. Back at camp, Jase cooks up his famous tuna bake, which Simon declares is ‘exceptional’. It’s hard to say goodbye to this fabulous area.

Jason you have got to stop using a metal fork on a Teflon pot. Those pots aren’t designed to be scratched, and will leech into your food. Check out the movie Dark Waters if you want to know more. Great white sauce pasta by the way, will definitely use cream next time instead of milk!

That 1st "stuck" at 3.01 was nothing more than intentional let's see how deep the muck is by bypassing the main trail to Simon's right,and diving off into the already walked and fell into marl area to the far left... Ummm,manufactured stuckage ?? Intentional vehicle grounding in a known soft, mucky,bottomless area ??? 😂 sheezus..

The other thing is that first bog was off-line to give the second truck with the trailer a fair chance of getting through without getting stuck.

At 22.28 is one of the 20' wide Mantas,the big dog manta rays that rule thw oceans worldwide.. the same mantas that killed Steve Irwin many years ago,beautiful gentle creatures but stay out of their zones...
Manta rays are harmless and Steve Irwin was killed by a short tailed sting ray when he swam a bit too close over the top of it
