Who’s left? Freshman?
@@shaneisbill1138if that’s what it takes!!!!
Tacario Davis just pulled his name out the portal a few hours ago! Possible one would come back for us, I reckon. Think portal closes tomorrow, so we will see the final list of available players!

**Alabama secondary - All those dudes have already been replaced. They will be good still… don’t believe the negativity. 💯
Domani Jackson
Keon Sabb
DeVonta Smith
Jaylen Mbakwe
Xavier Mincey
Malachi Moore
Zabien Brown
Red Morgan
Dre Kirkpatrick jr
Jahlil Hurley
Bray Hubbard
Kameron Howard
To all the guys that transferred, more so the young guys, I can't wish them well. They show no loyalty and act entitled. They'll miss Bama before Bama miss them
There is no loyalty anymore
Obviously Downs is the biggest portal loss in the secondary (perhaps the entire defense) but I agree Trey Amos clearly was HUGE loss! He was going to be a starting corner with Arnold and Kool-Aid gone. He was the next man up last year when Malachi couldn't play and he saved in the SEC Championship game Kool-Aid went out.
Aside from the attrition, the other part of the story that needs to be told is the inability of Deboer to bring in any real DB talent (except for Sabb) he couldn't even land his own guy Muhammad from Washington
@NoSerfdom cause of money. These guys are demanding 6 figures when the guys already on the roster are just as talented (mbakwe hurley brown) and cheaper. It's basically the same as running an nfl team nowadays
@@NoSerfdom Domani Jackson is better than Trey Amos
@@tyson5630 Perhaps. Last time I checked you need TWO starting corners not to mention depth.
@@NoSerfdom you must not have checked, because they have 14 scholarship dbs on the roster. Someone will win out
We gonna be alright 👍
Roll Tide!
Tickets will be cheap by mid October so hold that thought. Bama was in trouble before Saban even left and it's nosedived since then. Until they recruit a qb they'll continue to slide. I'm floored that he's still on the team.
@@davebryant8050Deboer made it to the national title with 3 stars with Penix being the exception. He knows how to get the most out of players Alabama will be fine
Amos and Downs
All quitters bye
More like they are looking for coaches that can get them to the league, not to dance with them wearing their hat backwards.
Well, look at texas, michigan, Georgia and on..everyone loses players..chill out..Bama get transfers IN also..
This isn’t that surprising. We just got the best db class in the country and best overall secondary class we have gotten in awhile. If two guys are ready to play and one is a freshman while the other is above that, the freshman should get the first shot.
Someone needs to show these guys the number of one years starters at Alabama that go on to be first round draft picks.
We turning into the pac smh all sec players leaving and we getting players in other conferences
Bro you got to fill the holes we have we had sum people hit the portal how you expect us to get sum depth it’s not like we can get anyone from the sec right now
and the coaches to go with it.
😂😂
So y’all think the secondary weak now ? That’s crazy. Bama got some dawgs in the secondary
They inexperienced at the college level.
@@shoreamaze177 EXACTLY
We can HOPE they'll be good but they're almost totally unproven
They sure as shit do!!!
I wish All these Quitters Well because they will need it!... Not many have left Alabama to be Stars Anywhere Else at Any Schools!... So, all Alabama is Missing is their names on the backs of the jerseys!...😮😮😮😮😮
I mean most impactful lost is downs then Amos
trey amos is a proven player.
Bottomline is develop the players that you have, stop worrying about who's leaving, tampering, NIL, and transfer portal, it's ALL part of college football now. NONE of us actually know what's going on in the program, all we have to do is support this team. ROLL TIDE 🏈
We are going to just fine
They figured out they won’t be getting any playing time. Caleb Downs is the only huge loss.
Looking like a 9-3 season with our weak secondary
It's not a shocking number of players in the portal! Ur trippin!
Thank God that Coach Smook guy is gone!
Never thought DeBoer wanted Tony Mitchell. With Tony being arrested for marijuana possession during Saban’s tenure. I’m sure DeBoer is glad he’s gone.
Perhaps, but beggars can't be choosers and Deboer has failed to bring more guys in
I get it some Bama fans are salty because these kids jumped in the portal. The portal is there for a reason. Imagine your kid left from California to play for the GREAT NICK SABAN and BOOM 💥 he retires! The goal was to play for a legendary coach and if he's not there then they aren't either. Sounds fair
That's why a lot of Bama fans don't care that they want to leave. They wanted to play for Saban, not Alabama. The real ballers stayed, so good luck to the rest.
What is an "amount of transfers?" 18.4 lbs of transfers? 345 gallons of tranfers? Example: 9. No, that's a NUMBER. A number is NOT an amount. Not in English, anyway.
I’m sure DeBoer is glad that he’s gone.
Evidently people don't know the parting gift Saban left
All the players that have left Bama how many actually did anything. Caleb Downs is the only real lost that hurt but everyone else to me are replacable...Bama will be ok.
You can say everyone but Downs is replaceable and I would actually agree the problem is Debeor has largely failed to replace any of them
They do know you'll have atleast 10 different coaches while playing in the league😂I'll give them a pass because they are babies at the end of the day.
I'm looking at it like Oats is building his teams every season via portal and recruits (possibly coaches too) by surgically choosing his specific needs. This is where bringing in people like Courtney Morgan as a GM was a brilliant move. It's how the sport is now. Greg Byrne saw this coming. "Trust The Process" now has a totally new description. 🐘
One big difference between Oats and Deboer. Nate Oats is actually bringing guys in not just losing them🙄
@@NoSerfdom Oats has absolutely lost players. Rylan Griffen, Nick Pringle, Sam Walters, Davin Cosby and Kris Parker. He also had to replace assistants last season. DeBoer has done a great job using the portal to replace transfers and he's also had to replace coaches. IDK what you're rolling your eyes at. 😂
@loupi4bama Obviously Oats has lost players. I didn't say he hasn't lost players. My point is that Oats has also brought in as many quality players if not more as he's lost. And he's done that consistently over a couple years now. Deboer has not been successful bringing in nearly as many equivalent or better players as he's lost -- at least at DB position
Bama is good.
Brought in Sabb to replace Downs. Malachi is back. Five start CB Domani Jackson. 3 Five star DB freshmen.
Sabb seems decent but "replace" is a strong word Downs is generational talent.
Saban was a dB guru. He retired and we lost a lot of dbs. That's to be expected.
This goes back to DeBoer failing to keep T-rob
My confidence in this coaching staff is really starting to waiver. All these talented DB’s leaving and not being replaced. I hate sounding negative but losing these guys is going to hurt.
@NoSerfdom personally I think we dodged a bullet with t-rob. Go back and look at comments Saban made about having to spend extra time with the dbs last year. Players leaving have little to do with coaches and more to do with money.
I guess time will tell but if you think T Rob would have been a bad coach then ask yourself who tried really hard (albeit too late) to hire him as the defensive coordinator but just was too inept to actually accomplish it
@NoSerfdom I think interviewing for a job and getting an offer are two different things. He interviewed then deboer slow played it. Likely based on advice from Saban and Greg Byrnes. If he was so important why didn't more players follow him to Georgia?
downs
On the DBs
Only losses are Downs, Amos and Little.
The rest of those DBs were easily replaced. They didn't have what it took to play for Bama. That is a FACT!
So you admit Deboer's lost three key players and hasn't replaced them with equivalent or better
They were GLAD to get rid of Ricks....
Looks like deboer is losing !!
It’s not his fault if Saban coached one more year all the guys that transferred would have stayed
He has a 100 mil that says he's winning, he couldn't care less about what happens in bama. I sure wouldn't.
Look at his salary and yours then tell yourself who is really losing
After what happened with Tony Mitchell being arrested, I thought he'd stay with Bama because Bama & Coach Saban didn't turn their back on him. But oh well 🤷♂️✌️ #RollTide🐘
IF you think Mitchell is leaving "ALL" on his own "Accord"? You are being VERY foolish.....
✌️ to all the quitters... we wish them well, and now they'll be losing to us instead of winning with us! #RollTide🐘
