It has been a while! 3 something years? I never expected I could daily drive a high milage German car that many years without a serious problem lmao. Never had any problems with anything ECU related. I'd suggest getting a scanner than can scan each control module individually if you don't already have one, they're available on Amazon. Get in there and scan the ECU.
@@MBDieselFreak I have access to different scanners, star diagnosis... The ECU doesn't respond whenever after driving, I take it out and it's hot. Little cool down - it starts to connect. My friends tech from Europe suggested to resolder Rom on ECU, I found T56 programmer device and adapter to read out this memory (in case I need to replace the ECU but to keep the flash(data)... Whenever its not responding - it's not cranking, not visible for scanners...
@@pfoxhound 100% faulty ECU. Unfortunately, that's beyond anything I've tackled thus far. I'd recommend getting a new ECU if you can swing it, or doing some research to see if used (known working) ecu's can be reprogrammed to your car.
Long time no see! Did you have a problem with ecu when ECU hot - no start, no crank, Traction problem, ABS problem? 2006 CDI.

Diagnose Dan did something ecu related. Heat expanded the ecu causing a poor earth internally. Worth a check
