Hello Professor..I've contacted you before with respect to using and interpreting t-test. Since I am working on a quasi-experimental design (pre post intervention) in which I am measuring a set of continuous dependent variables (reading skills) against one independent variable (explicit training in reading). I've conducted a t-test thanks to your guidelines but I found out that the results are not accurate and so I was told to conduct a one-way MANOVA test. Coudl you please share with us how to do this test. Thank you
@@researchwithfawad thank you. I'm currently doing a financial modelling assignment but not sure how it should be structured because it has to be a report. Do you know how this should be done?
Sorry sir to point out as someone is saying only continuous variables will be considered otherwise multiple regression will not run on spss. Please guide.
How to interpret more than one independent variable with dependent variable individually. Means I don't want to conduct multiple regression to know the combined impact. I want to assess it individually. So how to interpret and make table
Its the same as normal regression. Instead of adding multiple variables, just add one into the the list. If you want to assess each IV separately, then you need to run regression again with each variable. This video on regression may also help ruclips.net/video/GQP47ijt4LI/видео.html
Hello sir, thank you so much for your detailed explanation! I have a question to ask: How to compare the impact of different independent variables on the dependent variable? And how to present them?
You can create dummy variables for your grouping variable and use one of the dummy variable as reference. Please refer to the video dummy variables in spss on the channel. Here is the link ruclips.net/video/zaOFXnXC8Y0/видео.html

i have one question that you have taken F value from anova table. But in model summary table we have F change, df1, df2, and sig. F change value. what does it mean. if you have whatsapp number or email id. plz i want to sent you my table. thanks
Thank you very much for a simpler tutorial. As I prepare for my quants exam, I am gaining confidence 💛
All the best
I can't thank you enough. God bless you.
Thanks for your interest. I am glad you liked it.
Welldone clearly explained all the steps. I am very much interested to have more from you. Thank you very much
Thanks. I am glad you liked it. Please do watch the other videos on the channel
excellent way of teaching, if some published papers are taken where these concepts are used and explained, it would immensely help
Thank You.
thank you for being generous with your knowledge - life saver!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank You, Dr Fawad, really I got more understanding about how to run and interpret regression analysis. But the drive link is not working.
Hi. I am glad you liked it. I will share with you the link soon.
@@researchwithfawad thank you
@@researchwithfawad Could you please make a video about Factor analysis?
Hi. Here it is using JAMOVI. I will be making one using SPSS next week.

@@researchwithfawad thank you, genuinely appreciated, if you make with SPSS.
Well done explanation and God bless you. Can you explain detecting Multicollinearity?
Thanks. Please check fir VIF values, if the value if less than 5, there is an issue of multi-collinearity.
Sir you did a wonderful job. Thank you
Thanks. I am glad you liked it
truly amazing
Thanks. I am glad you liked it.
is the regression meaningful without controlling the other variables which have an impact on DV ?
Yes it is. You can use controls to see of there is an effect.
13:22 wy adjusted r square and standardised beta values doesn't used for interpretation ?
You can use those as well. However, normal reporting standards in regression use Unstandardized and R square.
@@researchwithfawad ok thank u sir
Sir, aren't we supposed to write the Beta value instead of B when reporting, i.e. 0.526 instead of 0.579 in your case?
With regression we normally put in unstandardized
@@researchwithfawad is there an explanation for that?
informative video, thank you, sir. if we want to test the relationship with more than one DV, what type of analysis do we need to run?
Thanks. I am glad you liked it. In that case you will have to use SEM based tools like AMOS, SmartPLS or SEMinR

I am sorry, but I haven't yet made a video on MANOVA
Can we perform serial mediation with 1 or 2 variables using SPSS only
Yes but that will involve some manual calculations and several steps.
What if my significance is greater than 0.05 , it is 0.065 actually?
You may still refer to it as partially significant.
Great work..
Thanks a lot
can you reject null hypothesis just by looking at the p-value? So if the p-value is less than 0.05 you reject the null hypothesis?
Yes, p value is used to reject null Hypothesis. If it is less than. 05

Yes, there are different opinions on this issue.

Hello sir, thank you so much for your detailed explanation! I have a question to ask:
How to compare the impact of different independent variables on the dependent variable? And how to present them?
Compare impact of a variable on another variable, is the comparison between groups.
@@researchwithfawad I don't really get what you mean. What item from the analysis result should I look at when comparing between groups? Thank you!
You can create dummy variables for your grouping variable and use one of the dummy variable as reference. Please refer to the video dummy variables in spss on the channel. Here is the link

Sir what does negatively significant relation means?
This means that an increase in one variable leads to a decrease in the other
@@researchwithfawad Thank you Sir
THANKS A LOT SIR 🙏😭
Most welcome
Sir, please also make videos about data analysis by using AMOS software if possible. I hope you consider my request thankyou
Yes Talha, AMOS is next on the list. Will soon be sharing AMOS videos. I am currently preparing the content
Sir can you plz provide the link For this Spss Software
I am sorry but only purchase the software.

How can we say there is no impact of iv on dv?
For assessment of Significance, check the p-value (sig). If it is less than 0.05, then we deduce that there is a significant impact.
@@researchwithfawad my question when can we say there is no impact?
When the p-value is greater than .05. P-value (Sig) is utilized to assess the significance of impact.
@@researchwithfawad thank you. ... So we just check significance
So we can't say about only word impact
Impact could be significant or insignificant. So we focus on significance of impact.
thank you sir
Most welcome
