@kmdskins Oh I understand. In fact, the only owner in sports to build their own stadium is Jerry Jones, Cowboys owner. Every other Billionaire owner uses public funds, while reaping all the returns/profits.

The oddest thing about the whole thing with the Trop, Bally's, and the A's is this--this wouldn't have been such a big deal had the scenario been "Bally's buys the Trop and rebrands the Trop as Bally's". If it was just that, then Bally's would've already released their design for the new Bally's without having to wait for the A's to release the design for their new stadium. Makes me wonder what Bally's thinking was regarding all this--because if they didn't bother with letting the A's come onboard, the new Bally's would've been slated to open far sooner. 🤔
Interesting question. If you are deep stacked in a 1-2 game lets say 500 plus with 3 people. The table often limps. Is there value in just limping almost any two cards? I've been successful doing this lately in my local games, but it is so off the norm I was unsure if its pos ev long term.

I slowed the video down during the flush over “flush” hand. I can see a queen, when the dealer picks up his cards. so he definitely didn’t have a baby flush. I can’t tell if that’s the Q of spades or Q of clubs but it’s definitely a queen I can see.

The ONLY time I like MANDATORY bomb pots are the first hand after dealer change for time rakes for 5/10 games and up... I truly hate the time flop with the window card being the seat that pays because during a bad day you can pay multiple times if unlucky and that's the worst, esp during the days when you're stuck!!! So the winner of the bomb pot aka first hand after dealer change makes sense because the WINNER is always the one paying and no one minds. Or a second alternative is for the winner of the first TWO hands of normal poker with pots over $50 to cover the time rake (avg $25-$30/winner x 2)... Again, no one would mind here INCLUDING the winner because most likely they will have won more than the 1/2 Rake... Just IMHO ...
the peppermill needs to better train their dealers if they’re taking almost 5 minutes to correctly divide a bomb pot
I agree sounds like a dealer training issue , halving and even the occasional quartering of bomb pots is very straightforward
@GG-fi2sx I’m a dealer in Texas… Dividing bomb pots is easy. It’s simple math… So there ya go, got back to you!
And on the rivered Nut Flush hand that you rivered, offcourse any re-raise on the river bet would make your hand look face up BUT thats' why you have to make it look as bluffy as possible with the words ALL-IN because he did have $1100 behind so there is a "slight" chance you're making a move with the K clubs ONLY in your hand (in his mind that is)...But a min click or a value re-raise makes it way more fishy you have the KING high flush...just IMHO...

I guess you might blocker bet the river with the nut flush.
But I did agree, you do turn your hand face up with a three bet.
Given that river the raise is pretty obvious as well.
The second or fifth best flush might bet on that river but aren't going to three bet.
I don't think a small flush wants to turn the hand into a bluff or three bet for value.
When you bet it seems you either don't care about the flush or don't fear a flush.
The raise is small, just a probe but telling you that the opponent has a flush but probably not the second nuts.
It seems polar to me. You are either trying to bluff off or get value from a flush.
You might turn two pair with just the K of clubs into a bluff. But you aren't three betting worse than a second or third nut flush for value.
Feels like a spot where you are not getting more unless you convince him you are bluffing.

no offense to the room/dealers, but if they're going to play split pot games, the dealers should know the shortcuts to chop up pots. that said, they do take a long time, and it's brutal when you're card dead or they send the fish to the showers.
