It'd expect Jason and the Argonauts (1963) and Clash of the Titans (1981) to be in high demand now. Please react to it. Also, what kind of glasses are those? They're sweet! Edit: They appear to be Nike glasses.

One of Harryhausen's many talents was to imbue his creatures with personality - the dragon and the birds were only a couple of the monsters I was sorry to see die. Thanks for reacting to this lovely spectacle.

One of the best kids film you can have. We were fascinated in the theatre. Also great soundtrack. Mysterious Island as a double feature would keep the kids heads buzzing. Also 'Sinbad' has the best creepy evil guy and genie. The Princess will hold the boys attention. I keep my Laserdisc print within reach when I need a pick me up.

I remember that this film was the very first movie I saw in the movie theater. I begged my father to take me! LOL In doing my research, it looks like "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad" was re-released in 1975. I couldn't find the actual release date, but depending on what time of year, I would have been five or six years old. This film was and still is a wonderful fantasy/adventure! I love it!

By 1998 I had watched this stunning movie more times than I can guess and more times than anyone would likely believe, when I enjoyed the privilege of a few brief minutes on the phone with Harryhausen. I told him that the single moment that most astonished me from his entire filmography was the cyclops grabbing Sinbad’s leg in the cave and lifting him. And he laughed and said “Stuart, it’s so nice to hear that, because there was some jiggling there that I wasn’t able to control!” I’ve never forgotten his exact words. And only because I was looking for the jiggling the next time I saw the film, I did see it, and I do see it now every time I watch the scene. But it doesn’t diminish it at all; I’m flabbergasted by it every time, as I am by every single moment the great magician gave us.
    Thanks for your upload!

If you want more Harryhausen-monster Sinbad, 1974's "Golden Voyage of Sinbad" is a good-looking Arabian adventure...'77's "Sinbad & the Eye of the Tiger", er, not so much, but it tried.
And that's not counting Harryhausen's two ventures into Greek mythology with the 1963 "Jason & the Argonauts" and the original '81 Clash of the Titans.

Welcome back, Sammy! It's so amazing what they did before the days of CGI, isn't it? All these Ray Harryhausen SFX films are great... the multiple skeleton fight in Jason and the Argonauts is amazing! I would have to say though, the best stop-motion work I've seen is in Dragonslayer... I think that was pretty much the last gasp of 3D animation technique before Jurassic Park came and blew everything out of the water with its then-new CGI techniques.
I'm really looking forward to your reaction to The Time Machine...that's one of my all-time favorites, and like so many of these other fantasy films evokes a time when kids would go to their local movie theater, pay a dollar or two for a Saturday matinee double feature and load up with popcorn, candy and soda and just escape into all kinds of impossible worlds with their pals.

The actors playing Sinbad and Sakura were in a film called 'Jack the Giant Killer' same style and Sakura is a warlock and king of witches and giants etc - it was good to see him doing so well :)

I'd love to see you go all the way back to 1933 and react to the spectacular KING KONG, the granddaddy of all animated monster epics. The music in this movie is so good because it's composed by Bernard Herrmann, who also scored such films as PSYCHO, CITIZEN KANE, VERTIGO, TAXI DRIVER, TWISTED NERVE, and another great stop-motion fantasy film, JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS.
