Thank you for speaking so positively about the father of our country!! Our Texas family spent the last few weeks in the New England states and were able to visit George Washington’s headquarters in Cambridge. We were all annoyed that our tour guide kept trying to convince us that George Washington was a greedy, selfish man. It brought to my mind this quote by Ezra Taft Benson:
“When one casts doubt about the character of these noble sons of God, I believe he or she will have to answer to the God of heaven for it.”
Thanks again for another great episode! 💕

This was just such a beautiful lesson you taught! My husband was active duty NAVY for 22 years and I am so grateful we had that experience of serving our country. I spent many, many holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries alone during those 22 years, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I also wanted to point out Alma 50:30: “Morianton being a man of much passion, therefore he was angry with one of his maid servants, and he fell upon her and beat her much” I thought this is the absolute perfect example of what you were describing. I didn’t hear you mention it, so sorry if you did and I missed it! But, it’s just another perfect comparison of the good vs. evil happening in these chapters.

Dear Lili , I feel so very blessed to have heard this incredible podcast tonight! I cried through the whole second half talking about our beautiful country! Thank you for your knowledge and powerful , (through the spirit ) way you taught us ! I’m so grateful for your willingness to teach us during this hard season of your life! I’m a widow of 6 years this coming Wednesday, and have so much longing for my husband and home. The Lord keeps giving me assignments to do , beautiful revelations and tender mercies, many in the temple! Because of this , I can continue on ( I’m 82 ) until He calls me home! Another thing… I want to support you through Patreon, but don’t know how to find it? Is it under that name? Sorry, remember I’m older 😂! Thank you again Lili , I love and appreciate you so much! I do love witnessing how men bond in church callings. It’s such righteous (right use) of men’s lives.

As usual, Lily is a voice of honesty and sense. I am the very blessed grandmother of 12 grandsons and and 6 granddaughters. I will share this podcast with their parents so they can discuss the gift that righteous masculinity is to the world. I am grateful for the good, righteous men throughout history and in my life today.

I’ve really gleaned a lot from your podcasts & I’m grateful for your continued efforts.
My family’s home study session yesterday- spanned nearly 4 hours as we poured over and delved into so many wonderful insights from these chapters.
My mind was likewise turned to the rousing speech from Henry V - in such a manner as you spoke of. My son is 16, and I felt a strong need to share with him - the historical and current strength and effect of truly good men on this world (even the Shakespearean version of Henry 😉). It’s incredible how blessed we are by great leaders & these chapters are so filled with inspiration for us. I’m filled with gratitude. Love the podcast!

Women do bond in blood. The blood of womanhood, childbirth, life and death. I think it’s interesting that men seem to need to fight to bond but women seem to bond more naturally.

That is a great point. I'm so grateful for men, as Lili said. I worked as a nurse in maternity for several years. Women still pay a huge price to bring children into the world. A lot of pain and blood involved. And courage. Definitely a divine division of labor. No pun intended! 😊

Lli - I know you may never see this comment, “ the very elect will be deceived”
Some elect won’t be but some will.
    What then??
