my first bike was a '65 t-bolt in '66 l was 15 it had tach and speedo last year that the gauges were in metal pots painted the tank color dark blue and chrome... rode it for 50,000miles spent $ 50 on repairs bought it for $ 600 sold it for $ 650....and no...l never dropped it...good times good bike.
That's a nice looking bike. I'm surprised you've never had an old British bike start on the first kick before. Maybe because you're hoping on a lot of vintage British bikes from Baxter's that you don't know. very well. Both of my old Triumph's will start on the first kick 90 percent of the time. I feel like if they're turned correctly, and you know what the bike likes on start up (choke/no choke, partial throttle, etc) they should fire right up.
I'm guessing the reason I don't usually start them on the first kick is operator error. A lot of my buddies with old British bikes can usually start their bikes on the first or second kick.
Hey, Fuzzy, you often mention the 3 bigfoot up on that thar hill.....and I never see what you're pointing at. How about making a run up that hill (on a Himmy 450, maybe?) and make them a feature of one of your video?
That's a good idea. I'll try and get ahold of the landowner & get permission. Did ride out today and take a few pictures that I'll include in some future videos. Thanks you!
Gorgeous bike 👍 I started out riding BSAs back in the late 60's, they were cheap and plentiful. I'll always have great memories of them! Wahoo!
This one was a hoot to run...felt very solid too. Great fun!

@@forgottenmotorcycles getting to know the bike a little definitely helps.

Just remember both feet down and both hands in and you will stop.
Wahoo!
I've never seen a video when you weren't having a ton of fun. Maybe a metric ton since you are riding British bikes.!!
LOL...Motorcycle make me happy? Wahoo!
