Yes Sohphie, toroflux is the name of the invention, the creator was Jochen Valett 23 years ago. Now, toroflux is the name of a brand too, and flipyflux is the name of other brand, so it's a toroflux and a flipyflux :)

Yes but toroflux is much more apt and descriptive as it takes its name from the shape which is a toroid.
