Flaws aside, think this is one gorgeous looking figure and in some ways, perfectly executed. This wasn't on my radar but it now is. I don't know if i am the only one in this boat but i find this and there harley to be one of the most best looking female figure's hot toys has ever done. I mean i could be wrong but from everything i have seen out of this line, those two stand out to me the most even over the live action stuff. I can only imagine a black cat done for the ps4 spiderman line and how great she'd probably be. I also wouldn't mind and kinda hope hot toys does a poison ivy.
Came for the thumbnail...stayed for the posing, nailed it! I'm still in the camp that Hot Toys should prioritize realism over poseability but they seemed to hit a sort of a middle ground with this release.
The design, colors and face look fantastic. But from a highend 6th scale figure I expect both, posability and aesthetics. Look at Alita Battle Angel or Gwen Stacey, HT proved there they can do better. And the Hips section on Batgirl looks weird and awful to me I'm out on this figure, even if I was so excided to get a Batgirl in my collection.
I can’t wait to get this figure!! But I do not like the gaps at the hip joints….looks like kai arts figure. I like posing but prefer accuracy. Thanks for the great vid!!
The single jointed elbows surprised me on your figure. It only surprised me bc in Justin's review & Sideshow's review for her, it shows her elbow going over the 90 degree angle. Especially Sideshow. Went way past 90. Also, it looks like the final product pictures on Instagram show a double jointed elbow so that's confusing why yours is that way 🤔 Anyways, Imma try and get her. I just need her and Harley. I have every other Arkham figure. Love 'em! Good review! 🔥
Great review, for sure a pass for me though. I also wish Hot Toys would QA their products a bit better. No idea how the Lando cape and this one keeps getting through.
I like the bat-pod pose is cool. The articulation vs movie/video game accuracy. I want both. Lol.. that odd gap isn’t pretty but hey you was able to get that leg to bend.
Great vid, as always... But wow- they *really* changed that head from the prototype : it's not even close.. Very bad decision to narrow her face rather than leave it rounder like the game.. Compare it to the picture on the stand.. It doesn't match at all... Typical Hot toys these days... ... It should have much more articulation and for that price point it should come with abyelling/teeth gritting mouth piece... The hair is a bit too long (compared to the game) and the limitations are just unacceptable.. Again I will stand by and wait for SooSoo or Toys Era to do a classic/comic version and get that... HT can keep this one.. AGAIN.. they have really gone down hill....
The website says that the pictures show the prototype but the figure you have looks just like the pictures... did you get a pre-release figure and if so do you think they'll improve the figure before it's released or do you think what you got is what they put out
I tank with some 6 scale figures the way how they design them is depending on what they want them to do if they know that the sixth scale figure is going to have a vehicle they will design it screen accurate with the pose ability to fit Bend on a motorcycle or a car if they expected to basically stand still on a stand then they will design it a different way but I for a Batman figure if people go the extra mile to get the vehicles that they would go ahead especially for Batgirl who owns a motorcycle they would have made it with the ability to pause on any vehicle but great job for not quitting on getting her on the Batpod nice job👍🏾
I don’t mind posability on most figures over aesthetics but with Hot Toys I definitely prefer more aesthetics than posability. I do not like the peg in legs but it’s not enough for me to not buy this figure.
If you watch the sideshow collectibles review of this figure you will see that her elbows are double jointed. Not single jointed as shown in this review.
What do you have against rooted hair? Just curious 🤔. I love all my tbleague figures with rooted hair! Definitely liked the batpod pose, her butt being part of her leg is off-putting for sure in the kneeling pose and that gap!
I prefer poseablity over aesthetics myself, especially when I’m paying 250+ for a figure. I’d want to pose the figure any way I want without worrying about messing up the suit rather than just looking at it in a museum pose to keep the suit pristine.
I like the posability of the legs to differentiate this figure from other female Hot Toys figures. The gaps can be covered by the cape and since they are black, they won't be too visible while on display in my opinion. Thanks for making this review video for us.
I bought this on TW for $340ish AUD. In Australia, the cheapest seller is over $420, which is crazy. Anyway, the single jointed arms are disappointing. In terms of 'accuracy', it is a game, so some concessions should be made. There are several statue adaptations, but they don't all agree. Some have prominent yellow stitching, some have carbon fibre armour pieces, some have gold rivets, some have silver ones. Neither of these details are easily visible even at hi-res in-game textures. So the figure itself should take priority. The arms are quite a disappointment, but considering the in-game model has a noticeable height difference between the crotch plate and thighs, from the front, the gap is tolerable. Not so much from the back, but I rarely pose figures from behind. If I can, I'll mod the belt to sit a little lower to cover the gap. I do prefer the segmented body and the engineering over the Captain Marvel figures, which look seamless, but are barely poseable and any poses at all lead to creasing. Also, Batgirl's knees are not attached to her boots, meaning there is no stressing of material on her knees when they are bent, which is excellent. The ratcheted shoulder butterfly joint is interesting, I don't think I've ever seen a butterfly joint that is ratcheted alongside a ratcheted swivel shoulder joint. But at the end of the day, they are meant to be figures, not statues, and poseability is more important than just pure aesthetics. Otherwise, why not just buy a really nice statue?
Ryan.... Why did you have to show her off in that cool pose on the bike! Can't unsee that and looks perfect (money now needed on a new bike). Just joking, great review and poses as always.
Great video! I prefer realism over poseability, especially with that unsightly gap. I’m not a fan of this figure personally but your poses were great. My wallet is happy that I don’t need this one at least lol.
I always enjoy your perspective on new figures. However, I'm not a fan of this figure. The large gap at the pelvis is very unsightly. I'm surprised Hot Toys didn't develop a better method to articulate that section of the figure. I do like the Bat-Pod and might consider picking that up along with the recently announced Catwoman figure.
@Jedha Patrol yeah so what?im not new to collecting figures though,I haven’t heard of that brand & it’s a dumb name but I was joking(if you get defensive & personal about toys then you obviously have the brain of a child, adults with adults mind don’t get defensive & personal about toys)these are facts.

Have you seen ww84 gold figure, endgame captain marvel and shuri. Those are the best female hot toys
@@dcmarvelunited5529 i have seen those and btw one of them has yet to release. I still think the one's i mentioned are pretty top notch.
Hello Jedha Patrol...will Hot Toys be making The Batman from the upcoming movie? I really want that 🦇😎🇵🇭
Try the elbows again, they are supposed to be double-jointed. Dope review, btw!
Yeah it’s a double bend, it’s killing me he didn’t figure that out in the video.
I was confused myself. I watched Justin’s review and he clearly stated that they were double jointed. That’s what it looked like in that video.
Hey jedha could you tell me what I should know about Spider Man Upgraded suit hot toy ?
That gaping does suck, but not enough to not want this figure. She is a must have I think.
Came for the thumbnail...stayed for the posing, nailed it!

I agree

2nd pose is good and simple. This figure, esthetically looks so good.

fair enough
She has double jointed elbows
It's like...a high quality marvel legends lol.

This is exactly what I’m planning on doing with the bat-pod, only reason I got these lol
great minds...

You got a flawed figure. The elbows go way past 90 degrees. Look at Justin's review for reference. I'd try to return the figure for a new one
going to give it another go later
@@JedhaPatrol for sure, Awesome review btw. Think I'll pick this figure up !
Leg joint cuts remind me of play arts Kai figures
facts
I'm confused because on the sideshow first look video this has double bend elbows. He was almost able to touch the figure's shoulder with the hand.
might need to heat mine up a bit
❤️ it
The gold lights on the wall for the whole video are just gorgeous. Adds so much to the presentation
Thank you so much!
I like this figure but I go for realistic astestics. I don't play with them, once posed that's it.
❤❤❤
Its good figure for 150 $ if somebody wants to start collecting ?
Great video, and great idea to put her on the batpod, lighting on this video looked cool too

exactly
Pose number 1 was great brother ✨✨🙌🏽
I prefer the possibility for sure. The gap doesn't bother me. Lol
😆 Today's throw away hidden gag...
" Well there's a pill for that I guess! " 🤣😂👍🙏
was wondering if someone would catch that
Well played Sir..well played! 😁👍
Hey bro
I've displayed mine with the batpod as well.
They go great together!!!
Yes they do
All 3 poses are really good imo
thanks very much
If you watch the sideshow collectibles review of this figure you will see that her elbows are double jointed. Not single jointed as shown in this review.
Yeah I thought that too! I think he didn't want to push it any further perhaps? But the sideshow reviewer done with ease!

nobody likes frizzy hair
Appreciate you brother, great video on the Batgirl ✨👊🏾
Much appreciated
I ordered her and can't wait
nice

Then Hot Toys is not for you, you should go for other lines of super posable pure plastics. Tight clothing will always limit the figure.
I have both

Idk about anyone else but I don’t think I can get past those hip gaps , the rest looks good but that’s a deal breaker for me
Seeing those has me debating on getting it now🤔, thank you for your review!

Her face looks so elongated and angular and creepy. It makes me as unconformable as Riley Rossmo's DC art
I'm not seeing that in person

That figure fits so well on the bike, I was actually looking for a batgirl figure with that design a while ago but I don’t have room for a 1/6
