Bucky Brooks on Mahomes, Andy Reid’s GOAT status, Travis Kelce double standard, Purdy good or GREAT?
• Bucky Brooks on Mahome... - Спорт
Is Brock Purdy good or GREAT?
He’s good w/ this talent around him.
Good
Good
Brock is very good, this was his first full season as starter coming off ucl surgery which meant he was rehabbing for the majority of the off season. Look at the development he showed. I'm excited what he can do being injury free and being able to work on getting better in the areas where he has weaknesses.
I totally agree with you Key. As for Cowherd, the guy/gal's never known how to wear a jock strap. He/she has licked out a few of them though. That's the kind of guy/gal/he/she Cowherd is.
Props to Keyshawn Jr, some real skill as a Podcaster/broadcaster/host, whatever you might call it. Smart kid, great voice for it as well.
In his prime, Tom Brady was not even considered the best QB amongst his peers. Mahomes is not even in his prime yet, but he is universally acknowledged the best QB. Mahomes is already the GOAT.
Key thank you so much for sticking up for Brock Purdy I'm a niner fan for life
Montana is better than Brady ANY day!!
Personally I think the take about there being different levels to this is the correct one. Keyshawn like Travis is on a different level therefore treated differently. Travis is not only a core player in that team and captain among captains but he’s also Andy Reid’s favorite. So yes he’s earned the right to make a mistake like this & move on from it
Exactly Key! What QBs are great in their 2nd year. Few were and those were great QBs. Purdy does not belong in the conversation with other great QBs. He doesn't get much blame for the lose because we wasn't necessary the driving force of that offense all year anyways. He didn't play well enough to win but at the sametime he played as well as he could have by his standards
Mahomes won an MVP in his second year, that's one reason he's one of the greats.
Mahommes
Brady is the goat because HE has 7 sb? Bill Russell had 11 vs Jordans 6. But no doubt Jordan is the goat.
I love Keyshawn, just found this channel. When on Undisputed, he's the only reason I watch
Keyshawn says what quarterback is good in his second year? Answer, Patrick Mahomes!!
Add Lamar, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts to the list too.
Purdy had to have Ucl surgery on his elbow last off season I think people forgot and for him to come out and perform at such a high level and get us to the super bowl is awesome
No one cares. He did not win. He did not make big plays when it counted AND he missed game winning passes.
I normally agree with Bucky, but he’s way off on Purdy.
Yeah Bucky said dink and dunk when Purdy had the lowest percentage of yards after catch than anyone else in the top 5 in total yards and Purdy is number one
It is Kelces persona too. THEY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER 10 YEARS
Joe Burrow is not great, Josh Allen is not great, Lamar Jackson is not great... There you go. None of those guys have been able to finish or win the big game
What about Dan Marino? We've seen average QBs win Superbowls like Eli Manning, Nick Foles, Trent Dilfer, and Brad Johnson. These guys are all very good QBs but Mahomes is on another level. And they're all young so they still have plenty of time to win one.
@@rdogletree4543 okay and the same with Brock Purdy. Brock has done more than all the guys I listed above in his first year and a half. Nobody is giving him his respect and saying these guys are elite
Who’s great in your eyes? And do you think championships are the only thing that define greatness ?
@@ryanskeir7908Name any sport any player if they don't have a championship they shouldn't be called great
Say great talent or something but not great
@@ryanskeir7908 no but that’s partially the logic of the national football media. What makes Joe Burrow any more elite or better than Brock? Maybe arm power that’s about it? Brock is just as accurate if not more than Joe and he was actually throwing the ball downfield 10+ yards or more than Joe prior to Joe getting hurt
the goalposts will keep moving when Mahomes name comes up
Yep always
Brady isn’t in Mahomes class.
By his logic, Lamar shouldn’t be great either because he did significantly worst in his game against the Chiefs, literally threw a pic into triple coverage and all of his playoffs games except against the Texans this year haven’t been great either. And he said dink and dunk, he clearly hasn’t watched Purdy all season, just lookin at his basic passing stats proves he didn’t dink and dunk
This is all Perspective!!! I have a lot more respect for Keyshawn now with his perspective. And All the Barbershop talk that will continue.
COACHES ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR DECISIONS !
COWBOYS NEED DISCIPLINE .
If the Chiefs had Purdy do they win two in a row? If the 49ers lose Christian does Purdy lead them to a Super Bowl and win? Heck no. I agree, Purdy is good but not great. Mahomes is great. He lost Tyreek and then proceeded to win a SB and MVP to boot.
Great points. The Chiefs don't make the playoffs with Purdy. And the Niners don't lose a game with Shanahan coaching Mahomes with that offensive supporting cast.
If Pat completes the 3 peat, it's not only the greatest start to a career by FAR...its the greatest stretch EVER. He is the most talented, cerebral, clutch QB already. The literal only thing left for him is to play long enough to accrue the extra hardware.
Love the pod !
I got problems with Vick and Hill. It blows the good example thing.
TROY DIDN'T HAVE THE SAFETY RULES THAT QBS HAVE NOW !
he is right under kirk cousin ..he not that good but he is not that bad either
HOW YOU WIN MATTERS !
Well thats on the 49ers and their coaches
Saying they might do it differently is crazy. Its the Superbowl and every one else in the country knows that both teams get a chance, especially if you only get a field goal on the first possession
And Big Red jumped all over Jones until they pulled themboth off.
Shanahan lost to Brady and Mahomes. He lost to the GOAT and the emerging Goat
Brock Purdy in 2 playoffs (4-3) already has a better playoff record than
Allen (5-5)
Jackson (2-4)
Herbert (0-0)
Prescott (2-5)
Mayfield (2-2)
Only Mahomes (15-3) and Burrow (5-2) have a better playoff record.
Actually I think Purdy has a post season record of 4-2 not 4-3. And you left out probably the best point. The fact that Garoppolo has a 5-2 post season record which is better than Purdy. And further proof that the Niners "team" (especially the past two seasons with McCaffery, Aiyuk, Mitchell, deebo etc) not their quarterback has been keeping them in most games since Collin Kaepernick (4-2)was forced out the NFL.
@@paythecreator4317 Brock is a 2nd year QB which why i posted his postseason record compared to other elite QBs that are lauded by the talking heads in sports media.
Next season will be very interesting to see how well Brock does should McCaffrey not be able to stay healthy enough to maintain the high level of play he had this past season. If you look at the number of 20 yard completions Brock has thrown, I think only two other starting quarterbacks (min 16 games)have thrown less 20 yard plays than Brock. Lamar Jackson is one of them, but Lamar also lead the league in QB rushing. Having guys like McCaffrey, Deebo, Aiyuk, Mitchell that can run the ball well or turn short dump offs into long gainers help Brock tremendously. @@shauncampbell4371
Andy Reid = New Coaching GOAT!
#ChiefsNation has the best #nfl coach ever in Andy Reid!
Belichick:
.450 w/the #Browns
.687 w/the #patriots
41-57 before Brady started and 29-39 after Brady left.
Reid:
.583 w/the #eagles
.715 w/the #chiefs
Hail to the Chiefs!!!
Andy Reid needs 4 more rings lol
Brady was SUSPENDED for CHEATING!!! 🤡🤡🤡
if you go by just rings Robert Horry is greater then Mike......so yea deff gotta throw in stats and dominance during an era
You can't look at Brock Purdy as a typical 2nd year player because of his age. He's an old player, which means he's closer to his ceiling than you'd think.
Yo Bucky… let me school you… Bill Russell has more championships then Michael Jordan, yet Michael Jordan is the goat
Jack Nicholas has more major championships then Tiger Woods, but Tiger is the goat
Tom Brady has more Super Bowl wins than Patrick Mahomes, but Mahomes is the goat
It's as simple as Mahomes just being more impressive, and more involved than Brady. This was far from Mahomes best SB, I think against Philadelphia and even the loss to TB were more impressive. But regardless, he had way more on his shoulders than Brady did at this point in their respective careers.
Why wouldn't the players know themselves.
You can always tell the direction a man is going in his life by the way he wears his ball cap. Coach Kyle is a perfect example.
Tom wasn't driving the 🚌 his first couple SB wins.
Not knowing or being prepared situationally is a rookie mistake..Shanahan is young but still has a lot to learn and thats not a dig at him. Andy made tons of mistakes in Philly when he was young and now is considered the best in the league. You cant cheat experience you have to walk before you can run
The head official literally explained the OT rules for the entire world prior to the period. Are 49ers players deaf too?
They said they didn’t know the rules prior to the game, obviously everyone knew during the game genius. Like Chiefs had plans for overtime before the game even started, the niners didn’t
@@huh3719 🤣🤣🤣Uh, I’m going to give you a chance, “genius”, to watch videos of 49ers players literally saying that they didn’t know the OT rules at ANY POINT of the game, then you can revisit your statement.
@@fallibleangel9101 Armstead literally said in his interview that people explained it to him during the game and Purdy said he asked Bryan Griese before OT even started, and Juice said they didn’t have a meeting prior to the game so the ot rules were a surprise to him.
Couldnt be much bigger yhanba New York Times headline.
MAHOMES RATE OF SUCCESS IS THE KEY 🗝. BRADY TOOK A LONGER TIME , THE GAP IN RINGS .
Cowhered and Nick Wright have to follow the narrative they started about Brock Purdy
If Niners had Josh Allen, they would be undefeated..hence Allen >>>> Brock…common sense man
Ring counters use an abacus to judge quarterbacks. I dont know how you can present yourself as a football guy and have such simple takes
You rather have Molly takes ehh. Give him and his son some time dont judge so quick. This is there podcast not whiteboy media abc, nbc CNN. Its black owned dont like hey there mimmy kines podcast 😊
@@michaelcooke8989 I don’t care what someone looks like, and I was talking about Bucky Brooks
Ridiculous argument for the Russel argument alone. Plus Marino never won even one, nobody denies he's one of the greatest to ever play.
Also, Bills record before and after Brady seriously works against him.
purdy is a system qb..... he is 24 and been starting games for 6 years......he should be able to identify a corner blitz out a college not after years of starting in the NFL
KJ 💪🏿👈🏾
I agree 💯 with keyshawn it was not Brock fault on that super bowl loss
Nobody said Jordan had 6, they said he never lost. Never was close to losing.
The kid is good...not just someones kid.
Magic said MJ was the greatest player he had ever seen before MJ had played a single game in the NBA
Purdy wasn't the reason they lost, i don't know if it bc hes really good or what but i do know it wasn't his fault
If it is ok to give Purdy a pass when he isn't able to win the superbowl, then Garoppolo should also get a pass. Garoppolo had the Niners up 20 to 10 and the Chiefs were backed up to a 3rd and 15 only 7:13 left in the 4th. The defense allowed the Chiefs to score 21 points in less than 6 minutes to lose 31-20. The media should not blame Garoppolo, if Purdy doesn't get the blame also, when he leads his team to a superbowl loss.
Purdy is Kucoch on Jordans Bulls , 9er fans give Purdy all the credit lmao
He was their best player in the Super Bowl lol
On behalf of Kyle...are the players mushrooms in a sea of darkness waiting to be watered? Did I hear Harvard?
Hey...you barbershop guys are forgetting the girls
I don’t think you should count the Super Bowl wins The Patriots got caught cheating in when in the GOAT conversation.
Thank you 🎉
Ask a Chief, they will tell you this..."Preperation leads to elevation."
Cowherd is terrible i dont listen to that guy
Pat is Jordan...All them other guys can figure out who wants to be Like LeBron.
What about Joe Montana bro Mahomes is 3rd btw Joe never lost a Super Bowl
Mahomes Was GREAT, BEFORE he
B E C A M E.. GREATEST
@BuckyBrooks and that's what Coach Shanahan did. Look up the Superbowl Mic'd up "I want back to back to back" seg.
1). In this video @ the 32min58sec mark @54FredWarner corrects his teammate, and I quote "(FW) let's go down a score, (his teammate/possiblyJuszcyk) Yeah we score a touchdown we win, (FW) No, both teams get a chance.
2). Juszcyk lied.. Coach said it Dye-Rectly to him. @ the 33min29sec mark.

Sorry, Bucky. Greatest of All Time is different than Most Accomplished of All Time. Mahomes is already flirting with that and if KC wins again, that's GOAT. Brady will still hold most accomplished.
Stop that skip bayless bs bro 4 isnt 7 ... Yall buggin
😆 🤣 😂 😹
I'm so sick of black and white I turned the video off after Bucky said that about Kelce lamb and brown I won't listen to that it's worn out
Mahomes is in the GOAT conversation and he is on track to pass Brady. But Brady won a lot of SB after aged 30 PLUS Brady won OUTSIDE of NE, lets see what Mahomes does without Kelce who may retire in a few years as he is already 34. Mahomes also has to stay injury free.
Regarding the OT decision, the 49ers had 2 secondary injuries (Brown & Lenoir). The defense was gassed and thats why the went offense first, would it have made a difference? maybe, maybe not. KC would have gone for a TD AND 2pt conversion if 49ers had scored a TD with their first possession (according to Chris Jones).
If Travis retires, maybe they can start beating KC.
Well dang I just listened to Key on undisputed. He did a 180 about Travis/Reid real fast. 🫤
