That looked like a lot more than 500 in a day. Looks so yummy too. I want some now. Thanks to Bernie Beigne for letting you film and thanks to you for filming it. I found it very interesting, and it all looks so delicious.
So sad that there are so many people whining about this place cos they ain't got gloves on, when did this world become such a nanny world. Think the most stupid thing is if they knew what went on in most commercial kitchens they would never eat out again oh and I doubt very much your friends/family or even themselves wear gloves when they cook so let's also slag them off. It's great seeing how some people still have passion for what they do as a job as was seen in this video as noone would make this many doughnuts by hand every day if they didn't enjoy it 💖 (as for my fav I'm boring and it's the good old jam doughnut for me every time 😊)
Exactly! I bet all of these ppl eat at fast food places which don't wear gloves. And when they do the practices are unhygienic. Gloves can actually cause more bacteria to be spread cause lots of times those ppl aren't changing out gloves throughly. Some ppl have no common sense.
@@janicebailey6112 The best cooks in the world don't use gloves and people pay thousands of dollars for their menu for example $15-$30k for one dinner and nobody complains that this cook didn't have plastic gloves.
@@browndog9402 YES... that is what we do on my birthday every year. The donut place we go to in Albuquerque, New Mexico.. they were almost $3.00 each... but they're really BIG... worth every penny.
Where is this donut shop at. I enjoyed watching the donuts being made my parents were in the bakery business along time ago.it bought back alot of precious memories❤
When I bake at home, I get my hands completely clean constantly. When you’re only touching donuts, it’s not a big deal. It’s a lot cleaner than gloves overall, since you wash more often and don’t transfer germs to new gloves all day.
Haw it’s cooked hi what awesome yummy doughnuts 🍩🍩😊😊my favourite doughnuts are pink and chocolate they Are the best excellent videos thank you from KIM Alexandra jacobs Australia Melbourne
Leftover dough: the scraps from cutting the donuts is used to make fritters, twists and some other lower quality remains. Once the dough has proofed for the first run of donuts and cut, you can't keep kneading and rolling the leftover dough to make a second batch because it won't respond the same way. Baker's tip: You can use leftover dough to add to the next day's mix to help it along...as they did in this video. They'll let it proof and then refrigerate overnight.
Hate to tell you all but most bakeries and even food workers do not wear gloves. They are only required to serve. When's the last time you saw a chef wearing gloves?
Even tho it's nice to see them putting the effort into it by preparing everything fresh everyday it is still disappointing to see the preparation doesn't include wearing gloves as they are touching the donuts . You can't argue that even if they'd say we wash our hands. My god it takes 2 seconds to wear some gloves especially when you're dealing with food that you're trying to sell for others to consume.
Yeah they should also line the boxes with gloves, and the metal rods they use, and you should wear gloves if you eat them too. In fact I do hope you sanitise your stomach before potentially bringing it into contact with the doughnut. Can never be too safe.
Most cities/counties that have food license requirements state that if a product will be cooked, baked or fried, gloves are not required, only after preparation are they required.
@brendamagee6411 I get that food being at or above certain temp. The town I grew up in, some of our neighbors were business owners one of them, Don and his wife Nancy, owned the The bakery in town, well, Don got a condition, that, somehow the dough, something in the donut dough, caused the skin on his hands to shafe, right, he never wore gloves, right, eventually getting out of that business. Anyway, nothing wrong with human skin, as long as it's cooked above a certain temp, this is a true story about our neighbor years ago, but i do get what your saying about tempature

i don't wear gloves when i prep food cause i need to scratch my balls from time to time... but no one will ever know... Enjoy your food hope it was tasty.. .. :)
I applaud their effort but too much contact with the food for me. You cannot expect any reasonable customer to be cool with that in the times that we live in. I have to say I like the automated method of making the donuts, never thought I'd say that. The process is virtually flawless requiring virtually no human input thus no contact with the donuts, the cleanliness is impeccable and you get the same result every time.
😂 Why is wearing gloves, not a mandate when handling food? I get people wash their hands, but, unless they surgical scrub there’s a possibility of microorganisms between the nails and the hair on these guy's hands. Anyways, who cares… I don't think I have ever eaten a sterilized doughnut.
Wow it’s sad and depressing watching this video no food gloves I glad I can make my own doughnut simple cinnamon and sugar no glaze too much sweetness those cause tooth-take tooth decay and high blood pressure diabetic too
