Elizabeth seemed to like dresses with color patterns on them. She wore a lot of dresses on BEWITCHED with patterns. With her lovely complexion and blonde hair, she always looked great.
I have read characters often wore their own clothes on Bewitched, or at least often supplemented clothes with their own. I thought Liz looked awfully cute in oxford shirt in early seasons of the show.
In the first two seasons, Dick York and Elizabeth had their wardrobe supplied by a clothier. From the third season onward, Elizabeth used her own clothes, like the dress she's wearing here. York and Sargent's suits were continually supplied by a clothier. The other cast members wore their own clothes.
This is so awesome to find all these old shows. Never knew that this show had so many editions, I've lost count of how many I've watched in the last 48hrs
This is the last episode to have the gray color box where the passwords are displayed, the very next daytime episode in existence would be the March 17, 1967 show where by then, the passwords are now displayed in the blue box and the dingbells are now given a more '60s like, using the same dingbell as the one heard in the later years of the original To Tell The Truth. So hope the 1967 daytime episodes start up on this channel in the not to distant future.
Funny how the network wouldn't allow the contestants to mention the name of the company they work for, they probably thought of it as free advertising.
I wonder if Elizabeth Montgomery was promoting a clothing designer's fashions. Two days earlier, she wore a top or dress with a similar design but in different colors. The first was red and green; today's was blue and yellow.
I was just noting that the fashions she wore in this December 1966 run of shows were absolutely classic cutting-edge for the period--all kinds of colorful paisley, florals, and swirls. It doesn't get more 60s than that--Liz wouldn't have actually looked too out of place in Haight-Ashbury! I also notice that some of the dresses she wore, she also wore on the show during that season (which I believe was season 3).
I'm glad I grew up in the '60s - '70s. So many "crushes" = "Samantha, Mary Ann, Ginger (If Mary Ann wasn't available), Ellie May, Jeannie, Batgirl (in costume), Agent 99, Petticoat Junction girls, Hee Haw Honeys etc."
The only thing that is a little annoying is the audio production because you can hear the the ghosting of the audio which is actually ahead of the actual audio so you can hear faintly the voices and dinging of bell before they actually get the word. Kind of takes the fun out of watching it. And it's mostly of all the regular password shows
I'm not 100% certain, but I think it's print-through from the original videotape, where the sound ahead of the picture prints through to the next layer of tape. It also happens on reel-to-reel and cassette audio tape sometimes.
She was the queen 👑😂 of the 60s, beautiful ❤️😍
They didn't call Elizabeth Montgomery the Queen of Password for nothing! What a player!
Elizabeth Montgomery is sooooo charming!
Is it me, or were people so much well mannered and classy back then?
Yes, a more respectable time and place than today.
Compared to people today, definitely
I don't know if they really were in real life, but they sure were on tv!
It's you
@@debraharrison-hl9czHow old are you, Debra?

Neat to hear Jim backuss real voice

And Elizabeth Montgomery appeared on the Password shows 88 times!
@@randysills4418 that's astounding, guess that's why she was so great at it
Liz is soooo jumpy! I've been binge watching several episodes and she jumps in almost every one.
I love Elizabeth Montgomery! ❤ She was such a beautiful lady and died too young...
My favorite _Bewitched_ girl *IS* Elizabeth!
Elizabeth is soooooooooooooo lovely.
@@LearnMusclescom Mhm.
🦉 Helen could read Elizabeth’s mind !!! 🙉
Liz can really think on her feet
..she's the reason I'm here...J B is very good too.

EM was such a sweet woman dont know anyone who didnt like her she was someone you instantly liked when you meet her something of a rarity:)

Bonney certainly got into the spirit.....and didn't Elizabeth look beautiful *
Kind of ironic if not funny Jim backus. :If we ever get off that island we’re in trouble.: A few months later gilligans island would be cancelled
I noticed that the arm of Jim Backus's eyeglasses wasn't even resting behind his ear. He had it placed about two inches above his ear.
Funny how you never saw the actual star of Gilligan's Island, Bob Denver, on game shows and such.
That's because everyone hated him and never wanted to see him again
@@donaldleroy6502 They did? Why?
He did a week of Password in 65, Gilligan’s Island. He also did an episode during Password’s all star week in 66.
Lmao one player works for playboy, Allen then asks female contestant ‘Are you a working girl’ in today’s society that would be taken the wrong way 😂
My wife said the SAME THING last night as we watched Roger Smith & Carol Burnett’s episode.
Before vibrators were vibrators!
When advertising was allowed during a program in progress is when television took a nosedive.
Why is the old days, did they retire players after only 2 games
Sorry that Alan Luden died early. A great show host.

Correct
I don't think that's the only annoying thing. Those purple banners they keep flashing over the passwords drive me nuts.
Betty white was great!
Vibrator lol
As of April 2024, Glenn Sneddon is still alive in Whittier, CA. 80 years young.
Doug Emh
Did they not have vibrators ( sex toy) in 1966?
I'm 52, and I've never heard the word "dowry" in my life. Is it a word they used back then, but not in modern times?
Sorry to hear that. Start reading.
It's a historical practice where the bride's family provided compensation for the marriage. It is actually done today in some cultures.
I’m 60 and I totally know what a dowry is!! They still hv them some places in the world where ppl give goats or something to the groom’s family…
