Just to compare a single F16 JetFigther costs 64mio....the US has 2,231 of them. Imagine these kind of amounts of money go into Research of Aging, Cognition Enhancement, general well-beeing. Billions of people would get alleviated from there pains and miserable lifes in a very short amount of time but...no not for us, suffering and disease is just to profitable i guess...so we keep continueing this path for like 15-20years+ coz the general public does not know and will not go protesting for these REAL issues!
The X prizes have always been low for the goal they are intended to achieve, in my opinion. But it should still be enough to spur a lot of activity. Some participants may not even do it for the money, but rather for the attention that winning the competition would give them, which is also worth a lot. That said, yeah, the prize amounts always seemed insulting to me, for the worth that achieving a goal like this should be. I always look at these things as a way for the wealthy to get something done that they want, while paying only a fraction of what they should have to pay, to achieve it. I have no doubt that this WILL encourage a lot of work on this, AND someone will be able to claim the prize eventually. It remains to be seen whether any normal people will benefit from it though, or whether the rich and powerful will control the solution(s) found, and block access to everyone else. If you think they have too much power now (like I do), just imagine how much worse it will be if they can live longer and exert control that much longer. As it is now, the younger generations get their turn mainly by the older generations dying off, both wealthy and poor. If the wealthy DON’T die off, our subjugation under powerful corporations will just accelerate. Eventually humanity could become like bee or ant or termite societies, with the vast majority trapped with no choice but to be workers to support the queen (or ruling elite). Oh wait, that is already happening even without aging therapies. 😱 You can still choose which corporation you want to work for (to some extent). But it’s harder and harder to find a way to support yourself and a family, without working for some big corporation. And they all will treat you like the throw-away worker you are. If you’re in a small, independent operation, it’s only a matter of time before they will come and either buy up your company or force you out of business through financial and political means. Wow, surprising where the thought train can go…😂😭. That got dark fast. Sad to say, (imo) an achievement in the field of aging will only be good for humanity, if the benefits go to all, rather than to only a select few. Nothing in this prize competition will influence what kind of solution is found (expensive vs affordable to all), as far as I heard? If it is expensive, it will be especially easy for access to be limited to the wealthy, without them even having to do anything sneaky. Or maybe it will be something that only works for some people, but not others. Then humanity may diverge into two groups, the long agers and the normal agers. Depending on which types of people it would work for, would lead to different outcomes. Or maybe it will be something that works for some people, but KILLS others who try it, with no way to determine the outcome in advance. Now that would be quite the choice to have…
If you had something that could do that It would be worth WAY more then that, it would be crazy to jeopardise you're patent which would be worth millions inorder that you could win a prize worth a million
Hello, so it is a big endeavour to compete, but also seems like an amazing opportunity. For these reasons I want to help: whether i form a team or only facilitate connections with viewers, fill out this form if you want to join - forms.gle/1uDRErvDKo6fGiic9 😊
High fat carnivorous diet, blue blocking glasses/correct sunlight exposure, grounding/earthing as much as possible, sensible resistance training regime to enhance mitochondrial density. Those are the 4 most achievable and impactful ways to live the longest :) someone send me 100 mil
Just intuitively, cognitive will be the hardest. Simply because it is an extremely complex system that is not meant to break down a lot and regenerate like the others.
wut. if you have 101 million bucks then go find a good lab, go to Aubrey de grey for example, and just fund them. They don't need prizes they need funding.
Yeah I also think that they (xprize/healthprize folks)need to come up with some better financial strategy and advertising to reach even more demographics. There are different reasons why youth, middle aged folks and the elderly would want to extend their life. The youth would obviously want to stay young the middle aged would want to reverse time and get back to being youthful and the old...well they just don't want to die...and later on get back to being youthful sexy and young, lol. Ok so appealing to the older folks (as this particular prize is trying to do) could very well be a good strategy (I mean how would I know) but still it's missing out on all the rest of the billions fated to also eventually die. And given the stupidity of human nature people will only reach out to the tree of life (aka tree of Immortality in the bible if Christian) from their f-ing death beds coughing up blood. Plan ahead first and then thank the gods for making you physically immortal.
They would have much better luck if they had 3 prizes: one for brain age reduction, one for muscle age reduction and one for immune system aging reduction. Asking for all three from one team is silly. The immune system has already been done...to some extent, with the TRIIM Trial. It has not hit their numbers, as there has not been enough time to know if it lasts. Muscles could be done with gene therapy, knocking out the MSTN gene that codes for Myostatin. Such things are not as simple as they sound, as gene therapy usually requires people to be very healthy when treated, as it is very hard on the body. So you would need very healthy older people. Everyone in the field already knows this, of course, and genetic modification is very expensive. My brain has already been turned back. I am not sure which intervention did it. My strong suspicion is that it was a combination of fasting mimicking and senolytics at the same time. I know it went back because I had plateaued in chess for years. I would, on average, lose 3-5 Elo per year, then after the intervention, I shot up nearly 100 Elo. And this was not just statistical noise. The chess I am talking about is bullet chess, and I play over 10,000 games a year. It is very rare, to unheard of, to suddenly get stronger, without some serious training. I did not do anything other than aging interventions. They are kidding themselves, if they think rolling back performance of the immune system, muscle performance and brain shape/volume and performance, is "solving aging." Most people are dying from cardio/cerebrovascular diseases and cancer. If you don't reduce the deaths from the diseases that are killing most people, I don't see how you are curing aging. I have also reversed my kidney aging. In 5 years, I went from a GFR of 71 to 111. And I never drank, so it was not that I quit drinking or something. That, I think, was caused by my reduced Advanced Glycation End-product diet, I developed. But other supplements, and interventions, may have been part of that. I have also improved my liver health numbers, but that required exercise and weight loss. And it is known, that liver health improves with exercise and weight loss, if the reduced performance is just from being overweight. Oh, and I took artichoke extract. Did it work? I don't know. I always felt good after eating artichoke, so it seemed like a reasonable try. I do have better numbers, but how much is attributable to what? Anyone's guess. I am trying to fix my body...everything...optimize my labs, and other metrics. Aging . AI 3.0 says my body is less than 1/2 my age. And most of that improvement is since mid-August, when I started in earnest to fix everything. Before that, it was just a few targets. My vision is better, more vivid (I credit organic alfalfa juice powder), no aches in the morning upon waking (Exercise? Glycine? Betaine?). I can do more than touch my toes, I can rest my knuckles on the floor in front of my feet. My grip strength is 197 and 198 lb, which is off the chart, and I haven't done a thing to exercise my arms yet. I am just walking, jogging, and hiking, so far. Going to add more forms of exercise. Balance on one foot with eyes closed is much improved (that I am sure is from hiking hard trails). One year to fix stuff good enough to retain that for 10 years? A lot can happen in 10 years. Heck, 3 years of pandemic did not do my body any good. It is unrealistic to expect to see improvements retained without some effort to retain those improvements.
Sounded to me like treatment needed to reverse measurable signs of aging by 10 years, not last ten years, which would probably be hard to show and would take a long time to verify. My guess is that even if the benefit stopped or reversed or even went to a worse outcome than no treatment at all, when the treatment stopped, it wouldn’t matter for the prize. If you have to keep doing the treatment or therapy to maintain the aging reduction, I think that would still qualify for the prize? Now I need to watch the video again to see if I missed something the first time through. 😂
yeah this is very cool.. Also, i'm getting some expensive microscope later on.. always wanted one. Just gotta do some projects first.. It's probably already cured to some degree, but there is probably almost "infinite ways" of doing this. Wow... hehe Not sure about that. Maybe.. Then it's a question of the best solutions really. Cool channel sheekey.
I found your channel through Dr. Brad Stanfield a while ago. Just an idea: once you have a few reliable people, present your team to those already scientifically interested in the subject who might provide research ideas, paths and funds. Be brave to reach out to popular channels or organisations with your goals (e.g Bryan Johnson or Nutritionfacts), all the best 🙂🙏
Odd. If you cured aging, you would not only not age (thus living for maybe 1000 years and being healthy all that time) along with your friends and family, but you would go down in history as the most important person who has ever lived and probably have access to infinite money from those grateful you made them live 10 times as long. The idea of some monetary reward on top of that being needed to motivate people seems strange
OK... First off, I think all research can be useful even if the experiment ends up in failure, but with the risk of sounding obnoxious, I am going to be critical of the method of this competition. There is no preventing aging, there is only how you age. In the top 10 causes of death published by WHO the top spot by a mile is ischaemic heart disease, which from my understanding is caused by coronary lesions therefore plaque buildup and reduced blood flow and impaired function of the hearth and in recent studies it's shown possible links to cognitive decline and a double whammy with muscle atrophy causes the miserable state our elders are currently experiencing. in second place is stroke and 3&4 is viruses and bacterial infections then cancer etc. Thus without restoring heart function I can have the liver and a muscles of a 20yo but the CHD is still the same and I can die anytime. SO the reverse aging thing(or also called rejuvenation) in the framework that is being sold as, essentially fountain of youth is complete BS. Now, I am a computer guy with passing interest in biology so I could be dumb please someone explain if I am missing the mark somehow. Are the researchers trying to rise funds for their labs by hyping it as if they are creating immortality drug or something? I gave up on proper grammar half way thru writing this so excuse me about that :)
Carnivore diet does these three things. There is thousands of real life examples on RUclips. Changing my diet saved me from debilitating back pain, nerve pain, joint pain, muscle pain, digestive issues, raised blood pressure, 20kg over weight. It took around 8 months for all these problems to resolve. Since 2020 I've been completely pain free and never felt and looked healthier. I'm only eating fatty meats, seafood, eggs and dairy. Prior to that I was eating the mainstream version of a healthy diet (lots of veggies, fruit, whole grains, low fat, eating the rainbow etc) for decades and watching my health slowly decline. I learnt lots watching videos by Dr Ken Berry, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Gary Fettke, Dr Benjamin Bikman, Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Paul Mason etc. And these authors videos Diana Rodgers, Robb Wolf, Lierre Keith. I read this peer-reviewed scientific article, that shows how 2,029 people had amazing results on the diet I'm on it's called "Behavioral Characteristics and Self-Reported Health Status among 2029 Adults Consuming a Carnivore diet".
keto/carnivore, low carb is dangerous you missing 17 essentials micro nutrients its bad for your heart, bad for your gut, you losing muscle and bones sources : see those two videos on nutritionfacts website or RUclips channel titled :"Are Keto Diets Safe?" and the other one "Keto Diets: Muscle Growth & Bone Density" or "low carb fraud" by T.Colin Campbell keto is like fastin but the dirty way. it's a short term thing you can't fast indefinitely. The carnivore diet is a mono diet the only benefits come from the processed foods you living out
Sample from the book Fiber fuel : Anyone want to guess what a Keto/Carnivore diet does to the microbiome? In a groundbreaking study by Drs. Lawrence David and Peter Turnbaugh, a group of people cycled between a completely “plant-based diet,” which was rich in grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables, and an “animal-based diet,” which was composed of meats, eggs, and cheeses. This “animal-based diet” could also be called the “Keto diet”-extremely low carb, very high fat. It could also be called the “Carnivore diet”-100 per cent animal products, no plants. So what happened? There were dramatic changes of the study’s participants in the microbiome in less than twenty-four hours. It didn’t take long. The animal-based diet saw the disturbing emergence of inflammatory bacteria like Bilophila wadsworthia, Alistipes putredinis, and Bacteroides. This was expected with high levels of saturated fat and animal protein. Remember, these are the bacteria that produce toxins like amines, sulfides, and secondary bile salts. Meanwhile, there was starvation and recession of the healing microbes like Roseburia, Eubacterium rectale, and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii. Similar to the Paleo diet, this is a shift away from health and toward disease. Perhaps the most disturbing part is the rapid emergence of Bilophila wadsworthia, known to produce hydrogen sulfide, which promotes inflammatory bowel disease. It’s alarming to consider that in less than five days the foundation is being laid for the development of Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis with this diet. But these low-carb, high-fat diets are helping people to lose weight, right? Folks, we have to learn that you can lose weight, look great on the outside, and be absolutely rotting on the inside. It’s short-term gain and long-term pain. Do you know the average life expectancy of a professional body builder? It’s just forty-seven years. Weight loss doesn’t always translate into better health.
Hmm, I doubt that diet would work for everyone. Not sure I even believe it works for you, but if it does, that’s great. Seems like an expensive diet though. This brings up an important point - what if the solution found doesn’t work for everyone? What percentage of participants would it need to work for, to win the prize? What if it helps some participants, but harms others?

We’re all participating in trials for all the diets and supplements, without really realizing it. Doctors and scientists will be studying the population outcomes, for all the people following one diet regime or another, or using one supplement or another. The results won’t be as clean as doing a paid, highly-controlled study, but they don’t have to pay a thing to get different people to try different things and just look at the outcomes 2 or 10 years later, or age at death, or condition at death and before. All they need, is for someone to come up with another diet plan or supplement, convince enough people to try it, and wait for the results. Now I’m not saying it’s a conspiracy or anything like that. It just happens that it’s easy to observe some results, just by sitting back and letting people experiment for themselves (aka on themselves).
This is very interesting.. So muscles, brain and the immune system they said... Reverse anti aging? Or keeping "age" at the the same level? I need to listen again.. She said restores, so i guess reverse anti aging then.. Or like getting that "backup info". Okok, plus it's a fun subject to think about.. Or neutral. xprize. nice This is awesome! A competition for 7 years... yeah i mean.. it would been easier to have my gear in place and stuff.. but yeah.. hehe. Not that time really exists.. more the now and physics. It's just an interesting subject i thought about it as a kid, it's not fair to age. Just feels wrong.. "Life is a gift, then you age? Like.. what? You kidding me.. " But now i know a bit more about physics, patterns and info. So yeah. A good start. So it's like 3 options of anti aging you could say then. As to how you wanna deal with it. Seems complicated. 3 options i guess....hmm, maybe one. with physics and the downfall of it all.. But different ways of solving it. It also depends on... anyways, this is s deep subject. I need an microscope. I mean.. just as a hobby. "No time limit".. in the long haul. Just an interesting subject. And i'm not gonna nerd away at this at all times, just a fun hobby i guess.. learn some. I always wanted a microscope and this is a good cause to try and get one later on.. Also i should get paid for comments like these. Feels like i'm giving away my personal thoughts, but i guess i can share that. You are welcome... rich people... for free. . ... . . .:)
Good luck, Sheekey! I'll be cheering you on.
But really we all win, if anyone wins this prize.
Well, we all win, if we all can have equal access to any solution found…
Happy to be your experimental subject! Hope you’re on the winning team!
101 mil for solving aging? A little bit on the cheap side, no?
No this is good because it brings more attention to the issue. People are moved by money and this will just be the beginning.

I just saw my first gray hair at 34. I hope we find more info soon :(
My grandmother's hair was totally white by age 35. She lived to be 107 years old. Hair colour is irrelevant.
The first step to becoming a grand wizard
JustForMen, dude.
I’d join your team Sheekey. Only problem is besides being a human Guinea pig I don’t think I’d bring much to the table 😂
same here
Im glad a bunch of rich women are trying to help out.

I learnt lots watching videos by Dr Ken Berry, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Gary Fettke, Dr Benjamin Bikman, Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Paul Mason etc.
And these authors videos Diana Rodgers, Robb Wolf, Lierre Keith.
I read this peer-reviewed scientific article, that shows how 2,029 people had amazing results on the diet I'm on it's called "Behavioral Characteristics and Self-Reported Health Status among
2029 Adults Consuming a Carnivore diet".
Then go and win the prize
keto/carnivore, low carb is dangerous you missing 17 essentials micro nutrients
its bad for your heart, bad for your gut, you losing muscle and bones
sources : see those two videos on nutritionfacts website or RUclips channel
titled :"Are Keto Diets Safe?" and the other one "Keto Diets: Muscle Growth & Bone Density" or "low carb fraud" by T.Colin Campbell
keto is like fastin but the dirty way.
it's a short term thing you can't fast indefinitely.
Weight loss doesn’t always translate into better health.
lol "Self-Reported" is at the bottom of the pyramid of scientific evidence
Hmm, I doubt that diet would work for everyone. Not sure I even believe it works for you, but if it does, that’s great. Seems like an expensive diet though.
This brings up an important point - what if the solution found doesn’t work for everyone? What percentage of participants would it need to work for, to win the prize? What if it helps some participants, but harms others?
That's easy, the carnivore diet.
And one other thing 😂 and I just happen to know what that is 😉
@@EnhancedgeneticsCarnivore diet does these three things.

Or neutral. xprize. nice
This is awesome!
You are welcome... rich people... for free. . ... . . .:)
GH doesn’t cost $101m. Maybe the TRIIM-X trials will win
