I have a fair amount of experience on equipment and would like to suggest your friend run his machine with the cutter facing down hill. It will save on every aspect of owning a piece of equipment. It will also cut way faster due to the lack of load fighting an uphill battle.

Robert, this is one of the reasons I post videos. I've learned a lot from folks who watch them and offer advice. Thanks for taking the time to watch our videos and more so the time to comment. Jesse sold his machine this past winter but we are looking to get one ourselves. We are not planning on starting off with a mulcher but an aggressive brush cutter. Any experience with those. I'm considering a CID version. Thanks again for you input! Kevin

The only way you will be able to grasp how steep the top section is would be if you are actually from Highland!!! I almost lost control of the machine so many times due to grade!

Jesse, I think a way to explain the steepness is with a level in front of the camera and the machine behind it. Thanks for commenting!

Was there ever a point you thought the machine might roll over on a steep section?

Several times. I call that pucker factor... where you bum tightens up and you try to become one with the seat... up and down wasn't bad but when Jesse lifted the cutter and spun around to go in another direction, I thought he would roll it for sure. Thanks for watching! Kevin

I think you need steel tracks with cleats!

Booker Uzzell, Do you think they make steel tracks that big? I think putting them on would be hateful mess... Wouldn't they work well though! Jesse let me borrow it for a while to clear some land, it was a blast. I keep threatening my wife to buy it! Thanks for watching! And commenting!
