Wow, this is powerful. I've had a lot of trouble with anxiety over the years, and it sure is a struggle... one of my tendencies is to blame it all on myself, to think 'oh, my faith must be so weak for me to even feel this way,' which isn't true at all. God's salvation and presence in our lives as believers isn't an emotion, but a truth, there regardless of any emotions we face. You pointed out that anxiety reminds us of our weaknesses, and that is so true, it's silly the number of times I've tried to be self-sufficient and it's never worked out. I'm too weak on my own. "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'" (2 Cor. 12:19) AMEN! GOD IS ENOUGH!
Sometimes "Lord, help me" is the most powerful prayer you can pray because when we don't know what to do, he does, when we don't know what to say, he does, when we don't know what's troubling us, he does. While it might not be the most eloquent, "help me" is one of the most powerful phrases as we pray as we ask Jesus to help us! ❤❤❤
I can relate to this. I have experienced anxiety before. True. God restores. When you pray, God leads you to the things you need to do and how to get your thought process transformed. Kindly let's connect.
