    I’m waiting to see if Milwaukee brings out a overland line. We be cool to have packout utensils holders and above led rover lights

      They should come out with some Overland products. I feel like a lot of people in the space use their products. Thank you so much for commenting.

    This is a genius idea! Question though - does the radiant heat from the burners affect the pack out box itself?

    • @inca4x4
      @inca4x4  8 месяцев назад +1

      Good question. The workstation is separate from the drawers and the burners sit up above the metal trim. I’ll update if I have any issues but I have cooked on it for a long time and have not had any problems. Thank you so much for commenting.

      @@inca4x4 This was my question after watching this video. I just bought a complete Milwaukee Packout System & I am definitely Interested in doing this. Since this question is 6 months old, have you had any issues & did you put anything extra in-between the cooktop & drawer system? Thank you in advance for any info you can give.
      P.S. You should really do a build video on this to show exactly how you did it. I'm definitely a see one, do one, teach one kind of guy.

    Great vid! Do you have online links to where you got all of this? It would be cool to see a video of how to built the top/stove portion too. Thanks!

    • @inca4x4

      Feel free to message us. It was basically a Coleman Stove that you unbolt from the top and connect to the Milwaukee workstation. On the Milwaukee workstation, you have to remove the wood piece and you have to cut away some of the plastic trim to make the knobs and gas lines run through. The gas lines are very flexible but can break so be careful at this point. If you’d like us to make the top section for you, we can make and ship to you. Feel free to call or text 770765-0835.

    I would like to try this on my Milwaukee pack out. Does it melt the plastic on the box?

    • @inca4x4
      @inca4x4  25 дней назад

      I’ve had this now for about two years and use it occasionally, even to boil water on a pot and has not melted the plastic. The burner actually sits above the metal sheet so I don’t think any of the heat radiates that much to the plastic. The second time I build this, I would probably add aluminum sheets and then set the burners on top just to create an extra barrier.

    This is a cool idea. What about heat transfer below the burners? This could be a great disaster prep tool for tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.
    I don't get all the hate about this video. If you need hand holding that bad, maybe this ain't a project for you. A good part of overlanding is learning how to deal with challenges as they come, unless you are of the earthroamer overlanding caste.
