I wouldn't be able to sleep for days if I saw something like that. I'd drive back home shaking and sweating. This is a great short film apart from the decent cinematography, the acting and how the story goes gives the vibe of hit horror movies.
my theory is the mine was a nest for Skinwalkers and when the mine collapsed the creatures were forced to find shelter elsewhere but because they spent all that time in the mine with there offspring they aren't used to being out in the open and whatever they see is the only food source they can eat to feed themselves and there offspring

the monsters are giving me very much like those monsters from “The Descent” movie! when those girls went into a cave to explore and those human-like cannibalistic monsters were hunting them down and killing rhem. WOW. this was really good and hopefully they decide to turn it into a full blown movie!
You wouldn't be able to understand what is happening. I've listened to stories of policemen, sheriffs, all sorts of people working in law enforcement who saw something they couldn't explain while they're on duty. Your mind simple rejects to believe that something like that even exsists. It's hard enough knowing that no one will believe you but it's even harder to accept for yourself "Yeah, I saw something for what I have no explanation." Way too many good people never came back from that. We need this feeling that we have the control over our life, our environment. If this feeling is gone, it is sometimes more than you can bear.
