CockpitSeries: Flying to the Airbus Factory [FULL FLIGHT]

  • Follow along as the pilots fly between two Hamburg airports located only 10 km apart. This is called a 'Ferry Flight'; a flight done to re-locate the airplane with no passengers. Seen here is one of the shortest flights available for an Airbus A319.
    The Airbus factory is located in Finkenwerder Airport, which has no terminal or passenger flights. Some of the ships in the channel are headed to the factory loaded with airplane parts.
    Other Airbus factories are located in Toulouse, Seville and the UK.
    This airline 'Germania' stopped operations in February 2019 due to bankruptcy.

    Somehow this route takes much longer with the bus...
    Really nice cockpit footage. Flying during this time of day is definitely the best thing you can do :)
    Sad to see two airlines that ceased operations in one video...
