Sooo good! If I could, I'd recommend getting just a pair of Shure SM58 microphones and a focusrite scarlett 2i2 audio interface. If you just run those into Garageband, it'd be a lot easier to hear the singers over the piano.
I think they could've had trouble remembering their notes and lines, a lot of singers tend to stare at a blank wall to remember lyrics. It helps, so maybe that could've been it
