- We use the Simple Present tense more than any other tense in English.
Let Carter (the dog with human hands) show you how it works. Listen to him describe his breakfast routine and you'll hear lots of examples.
Notice we form negatives with 'do' and 'not'. (I don't drink coffee. I don't need a napkin.)

@kosmopolitanna, Carter ate kibble - a compressed dog food in hard chunks that contained all the vitamins, minerals and protein he needed for a healthy life. I start my day with simple breakfast . I drink milk . I don't like coffee or tea . I have peanut butter and jam sandwiches . I read Yemen Observer after I finish my breakfast every morning . Then I check the time to watch your lesson .
