I don't see anyone giving it props but damn, Fiora's death scream in Japanese was ON POINT! That little high pitch squeal at the end with sudden silence? Man, that was agonizing. Fiora's death scream in English was good, but that was too real sounding. Goddamn.
the feels, every time, even more when you get her heart to heart right and she knows you like the idea of her being your bride ;A; also, theres a new HD textures pack, the faces look better now, almost high quality like the ones in zelda Skyward sword
I actually like the English version of this game a lot better. And I'm a guy who watches pretty much every anime subbed. The japanese VAs just sound kind of generic, and not quite as emotional as the english VAs.
ViralVideoFilmStudent 81 I also agree on you because I think that the English British dub fits a lot better to the characters and they add more emotions on their acting!
If only Ryo Hoshikawa would have used his Captain Falcon voice for Dunban in the Japanese version, it would have sound so much cooler, what a missed opportunity! :(
There are so many translation error in this game. And the English voice actor work are simply joke, I feel bad for the Japanese company that have to pay for those kind of shitty work.
Actually, those translation "errors" were kind of intentional. I don't remember the exact story, but I think it went something like this: the translation team wanted the English voice actors to match the lip synching of the character's animations while still conveying the impact of the story, leading to times where the translation between Japanese to English and vice versa being off in various degrees, why there are pauses in the character's voices during certain cutscenes, and English subs when the scene is silence when it's in Japanese voices.
AwVwE Actually the point is that it isn't a one-to-one translation, but people treat it like it is. "kisama" and "bastard" are not interchangeable words. It's translated to "bastard" since it's the closest thing we've got. There are no words like "kisama" in English.
All this talk about which dub is better but I think we can all agree that the manga is better
Take your damn like, you hilarious asshole.

Japanese did that better. But man the "I'll kill you !!!" from Shulk is so lacking compare to the english one.
I just started playing this game and damn. To see such an epic scene in such an early part of the story.
2:07 attack on mechon
+Shaulkk YAMEROOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
this part chokes me up every time.
Cant wait to see the remake

But..... Dunban is voiced by Captain Falcon and Vegeta.

When first playing this, Fiora/Fiorun's death annoyed me so much! Then I realised that she did this sacrifice to protect Shulk, Reyn and Dunban.
dammit they sound so hot
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) u sed wot m8?
yeah man i agree
Fucking epic cutscene, voice acting, and game!!!!
NO FIORAAAA
KISAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
dunban.... is that ryo horikawa?
shakuma 311 Yes.
rip
I like the Japanese voices quality wise, but the English ones for being iconic. Either way is good imo.
kinda tryna play the game in japanese if this is how dope it sounds
Have you listened to the English version?
@@skyriotAndKadeGaming I mean, if he said he would give a chance to the japanese dub he probably played with the english dub before
AW HELLS NAH!
best moment is 2:50
😭
Its...just...not the same for me...
OW HEL NO
the English yell of I"LL KILL YOU! > Japanese version
Fiora jp voice > eng voice
Ehh the "KISAMA!!!" Kinda ruined it for me, considering how I know what it means. (It doesnt mean Bastard)
Maybe, but it's like translating "Uso da" as "No". While they're not technically equivalent, they can mean the same thing in certain contexts.
It is "you" but in a very rude form nowadays, so I'd say "bastard" is a correct translation
AwVwE I guess it ain't bad but still, when people say "you kisama" it just kills it for me.

Xailashi moist and "Yamero !" means "stop it !", I am wrong ?
English Dub was better.
The japanese scream is a lot better, but the english version shows emotions!
