  • The first of at least a four part series where I go over 10 Items to Farm. Scaling in time comsuption, we start at Normal difficulty, then go up to Hard, Elite, Raid and possible Reaper, so if you don't see an expected item now, like Jibbers, it is coming in a later video.
    Edit: It looks like for the Planar Gird you need the Green Key, which means you need at least some hirelings or pets to get through the magic doors, sorry y'all.
    Enjoy!

    Great video, thanks. I'd also recommend the Jade Ring from Walk The Butchers Path. Min lvl 1, resistance +1, and a colorless augment slot, perfect to slot The Masters Gift for a TRing toon.

      I crafted myself an underwater action gogs I found with 2 slots so i slapped a res augment next to the gift.
      My only problem with low level gear that can sport the master's gift is they tend to break on a higher level environment, especially on melees.

    Nice video. For the Keep on the Borderlands mounts, you'll want to go back at level 20 to get a fast mount. They have 100% movement speed vs. 80%, which matches the speed of all other mounts in the game and will keep you from falling behind the rest of your party. For that, you'll need another 15 Quall Feather Tokens to get another mount certificate (don't add it to your stable though!) and an Enchanted Horseshoe, which is a rare drop in epic level chests in quests in the Borderlands. If you run in a party and let them know you're farming tokens and horseshoes, most players will be more than happy to pass them to you.

    One other tip - if you run Waterworks, there is always a shield that is mithril as one of the reward items. You can craft a nice mithril shield from it.

    In *Kind Of A Big Deal* also look for *Steelweave Shinguards*
    25% Striding
    17% Electric absorption
    15% Electric resistance
    In *Death House* get the *Flightfoot Greaves* for Freedom Of Movement

    Might want to add a note the mysterious remnants only drop if the quest is equal or greater level then the lower player in the group. If the lowest player is 20 and you run reaper quest that brings it to 19 no remnants will drop.

    The boots with 2x exp retreat and the necklace with 2x mnemonic enhancement plus the cloak with 1x Feather fall are all super useful and the easiest items in the world to get. Just run Korthos quests. Also Axeblock bracers are really good.

      Actually getting a clicky on an armor for the blurry is the worst idea ever cause it takes time to equip and you can have better options...
      Wind bracers from cannith challenges give you a PERMANENT blurry lvl 3.
      Bottle of Smoke (trinket) from The Home of Memory gives you also a PERMANENT blurry lvl 3.

    One thing you haven't really covered is how many times one should roughly expect to run a quest in order to find named loot. For example, I've run Back to Basics in Saltmarsh 5 times today trying to get the Saltiron Docent. Does my Character's level impact the loot that I'm likely to get?

    • @MysticMical
      @MysticMical  Год назад +1

      For named items, the only influencers I know of are quest difficulty and whether or not you are using an elixir of discovery. Here are the probabilities depending of quest difficulty: Normal: 10%, Hard: 16%, Elite: 33%. For Reaper difficulty you get an extra 1% boost per skull.
      There are Elixirs of Discovery that can boost those percentages by 5%, 10%, or 15%. To my knowledge they are usually only perchasable during certain sales and on gold daily dice rolls.

      @@MysticMical So my chance of pulling a Skull of the Sea out of Rare encounter chest is only ever going to be 10%? Really wish I'd spent my DDO points on Keep on the Borderlands instead now. Having a mount to go from rare encounter to rare encounter sure would be nice.

    • @MysticMical
      @MysticMical  Год назад

      @@daxirons4376 I'll be fully homest, Im not sure if its the same 10% drop chance or higher. I can believe it to be since usually half the rare encounters spawn.
      Definitely recommend Keep when you get the DDO points, mounts are definitely a lifesaver in explorer areas.

    I don't know why some people like deathward clicky, why bother with that. So much good gear comes with deathward or lifesealed that is on all the time, passively, no need for clickity clickies.

    • @MysticMical
      @MysticMical  Год назад +2

      Deathblock vs Lifesealed vs Deathward
      Deathblock: Protects against insta death efffects such as Finger of death, implosion, and vorpals.
      Lifesealed is a greater Deatblock which also negates a percentage of negative energy damage. This does reduce the negative healing for undead players.
      Deathward is the greatest of the three and protects you from insta death effects, Negative Energy such as Harm & Inflict Wounds Spells and Negative Levels such as from Energy Drain & Enervation which give negative levels and stats. It also, according to the wiki "block the Strength Damaging effects of various Umbral creatures on-hit" which can insta kill once you hit 0 Str. Good for hardcore.
      So, if mostly just worried about insta death, deathblock will do just fine. I particularly like the clicky cause it is one less thing I have to gear tetris and their isn't an easy purchasable augment. It is dispellable though so the deathblock on an item against beholders is nicer.
