Rich Spotts I wish they wouldn't have put people in the chancel it'd be good to see the distance that is from the nave to the sanctuary as it would've been in the past
Sancta et Immaculata virginitas, Quibus te laudibus efferam, nescio: Quia, quem caeli capere non poterant, Tuo gremio contulisti. Benedicta Tu in mulieribus, Et benedictus fructus ventris Tui. Quia, quem caeli capere non poterant, Tuo gremio contulisti. Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto. Quia, quem caeli capere non poterant, Tuo gremio contulisti.
John XXIII and Paul VI really messed things up with their Vatican II changes. This video shows the solemnity and beauty of the traditional rite. Compare this to the liturgical abuses going on throughout the world as a result of the changes in the 1960s.
Learn to speak latin, or just get a missal. The translation of the entire Mass, and all year round is right next to the latin texts in that book. I presume everybody CAN read? The good thing about a latin mass is that you can celebrate and understand any mass anywhere in the world. Latin is the universal language of the Roman Catholic Church. (And catholic means nothing but just that: universal. )
I duno, Willam Byrd, GH Palmer and Canon Charles Winfred Douglas adapted so much gregorian plainchant, hymns, canticles to english, with the same melodies, same meanings, even faux bourdon/harmonized versions. I don't think language is the issue. It can be in any language. I've heard gregorian in hungarian, french, finnish, german and spanish successfully sung with same beauty. Modernists wont accept the artform itself, regardless of latin or chinese. Modernists are essentially Protestants.

Vatican II was a complete disaster for the Church. The modernist tried to suppress and destroy the Latin mass thank god they did not succeed.
