In those 2 min, I came to completely respect this woman as a kind, caring, passionate, and talented person. She's honest, found a husband who loves to support her. She wants to use her gifts to teach younger dancers and bring life and vitality to older people, who are often forgotten and do not receive performances like this very often. I now just love her!
“Life is too short, not to do what you want to do.” This woman is very inspirational and shows that you CAN achieve your dream (even at an old age) if you choose to💗
Why does this make me feel sad? She has been dancing for so long, and she sounds so sweet and this just proves that you can be so good at anything you put your mind to.
Maybe because deep inside many people know they are not doing what their souls really, really want to do, what would give them joy and real life. May we all live our truest deepest life, the one that fills us power and light.

@@itswhiffles I started at 10 and I'm doing great. 12 is not at all too old, the normal age to start is between 4-8, you'll be amazing once your 17-20.
Eerie Pancake - lost my sweet grandmother 50 yrs ago. I still remember her to this day, and I also miss her very much. I look forward to seeing her again in the after-life, where we will rejoice together at the Messianic dining table; laughing, DANCING, and singing in honor of our loving Host. 💞
So much grace and elegance. So beautiful. I wish more people will see her and maybe it'll help some people understand that beauty isn't the botox, the plastic surgery and injections(unless it's medically needed). It isn't trying to look 25 when you're 70. Beauty is doing things you love, following your heart and your passion, while helping and inspiring others.
I used to think life "ends" after 30. I'm 28 and the best things have just started! Life ends when you die. Until then, do what you love and do it now.
Hahaaa at 30???? That's when you really come into who you are, and know yourself for who and what you are. Wisdom you just don't have in your twenties. Married at 31, 3 healthy children, last one at 42, going strong at 60, still look in my 40s when I color my hair or not, feel great not yet retired and not thinking about sitting around getting old and stiff. If you don't use your body and brain that's when old age takes over. I am planning what I will do, but won't be doing nothing.
Lore Bay Absolutely! I'm 57 and have a ton of energy, have always been active and hike for miles with my dog. Keep moving, look after yourself. I also lift weights and meditate.
I had to leave Ballet when I was 11 (I started when I was 3) because I got very ill... now nearly 10 years later I am still very ill and long to go back... hopefully the new year brings me some good health so I can re-train and dance once more :)
I do ballet for 7 years and everybody says 'Wow! it's been so long since you started to ballet'. Well if somebody says the same thing again I will show them this video. Look at this lady she is doing ballet for 7 decades! Ten times more than me!!! Wow what an ispiration...
@@robloxgamer_yt2225 Flexibility is something you can practise and get better, if you really love dancing and if you believe in your self you can be a great dancer!!!
It's best you work on your flexibilty! But aside from that, no! It's something you practice in it and before you know it, you will be able to do a spilt, side and middle!
I just turned 30 and felt like my life was over 😭...but look at this beautiful lady 77 years young and loving life. How dare I take life for granted and neglect myself 😢? *Inspiring* can't even begin to describe it 😢
It’s a weird feeling isn’t it? When I hit 30 I felt like I have to now “adult” with the other adults. However, I’ll be 32 in a few months, and in my mind I still feel like I’m 24. My body obviously doesn’t, but I feel like things are just starting.
Heismyrock3 It really is. I feel like I've gotten a late start and should be further in life, and things should be more "figured out" I guess...like, I should have done more in life and so much time was wasted just chasing a paycheck in my 20s to make ends meet instead of building a LIFE 😑 and I wake up asking myself "do I enjoy my life or am I just going through the motions?" When that reality hits that you have to go through this same old boring, humdrum routine for the next 30-40 years spending most of your life at a job(s) that doesn't appreciate you or value your time, is one of the most God awful depressing things and I wonder how the people before us even sucked it up and did it 😔. So now I have these impulses to live out life doing stuff I should have done in my 20s. Not clubbing and things like that lol, but making memories, road trips/traveling, volunteering, taking useful classes & workshops, building meaningful friendships, waking up with passion and to live my dreams versus spending so much time at a job I hate to only go through the same exact routine the next morning 😣. My brother is 34 and just told me I'm having a midlife crisis 😭 and "every 30 year old feels that way" lol but I think it's so much deeper than that, it's like we want to wake up from the matrix (cliche 😂). I'm with you 100%, my mind/personality still feels 21-24, sometimes younger than that, but body def doesn't and I'm like "oh sh*t I'm 30." I wonder if I'm just being immature sometimes but I like to say I kept the child in me alive because I just like to have fun and part of me doesn't want to let that go. But now more than ever, I just want to get serious about things and take care of myself so I can age gracefully while maintaining my internal youth, manifest my dreams, and be an inspiration like this woman as cliche as that sounds 😢. But thank you for relating to me and letting me know I'm not alone 🤗...even though I just vented so much crap and lowkey sound like I'm having a midlife crisis 😂. You're amazing if you read all that too 👌 LOL
21SayWhat21 dude YES. You explained it so well! You have some seriously awesome insight. I wouldn’t call it a crisis per se, but I agree with you that it’s kind of like waking up and seeing more clearly than you did before. You’re super not cliche! I think it’s fricking great that you watch this video and you’re reading between the lines to see that life is more than just the daily grind. But yes. You’re very not alone bc I can tell you I’m definitely in the same boat. One of my favorite videos about this is Jenna Marbles’ “Adult Puberty.” I have a feeling you’ll get a laugh out of it!
i had a 60+ something year old ballet teacher when i was a teen.. i loved and still love her dearly she gave me so much strength and passion.. she was so amazing and was always the best dancer in the room
I love how she talked about Ballet teaching you so much and that it doesn´t matter if some of the kids don´t stick with it forever. There are quite a few Ballet teachers out there being really harsh and they forget that not everybody will become a professional and it's also not what this should be about. She really got some good points there.
I turned 40 this year, and trust me, 40 is an amazing number!! Turning 30 ten years ago was amazing, and every year after that improved. I had been looking forward to turning 40 for five years, and it didn't disappoint!!! Now I can't wait to be 50.
Thank you so much for showing us all this wonderful woman. At 65 I had begun to think I was merely "taking up space" with my life. This dear lady is truly inspiring.
humming bird I hope you don't think that. You are valuable matter whom you are. I have often had similar thoughts due to my chronic illness; but I've found that even though I can't do everthing I'm still able to contribute to the world.
Madame Poole, you are strong, beautiful, graceful and a wonderful example for your students, who love and admire you, and who look up to you. You are an inspiration!
I love her message. Makes me hopeful. I'm a painter btw. Not professional. Never made it to the academy of arts. But I do what I love. Just for my own pleasure. And ofcourse it makes me happy if others like what I do.😊
Read your comment.. I'm also talented at art ,always have been since I was little. I never got to go to art college but studied it upto A Levels. I taught my three children how to paint, draw and lots of other art related stuff. My son is now a chemical engineer but he can still draw as can my younger son and he also likes sciences! My daughter is currently doing BA in fine arts. It makes me happy to see people doing things they love no matter their age. I wanted to be a professional painter or a fashion designer but it wasn't meant to be 😊😟
it does not matter if your skin is not so fresh, and your body is aged, because your spirit is fresher than lettuce and your interior is full of youth.
Aunee AfterGirl nothing against dance moms..but dance moms is shit lmao. i was a dancer for 18 years and most of the girls on that show are alright but mediocre at best. and the mothers act like children. 4/10 for good content.

This video shouldn't have a lot of dislikes. I mean just look how this woman her age could have done that. She will aspire means me that age doesn't matter and that you can reach your dream always. This is way i hate people that just judge without knowing the person yet, that have no heart. Sorry for my bad language
WOW...AMAZING! She’s So Beautiful! She is so beautiful because she Loves Herself Enough To Do What She Loves! I Love Dance! I was too big to be in ballet unfortunately. ...She Is Incredibly Awesome! *”Life is Too Short, do what you love.” So Graceful, So Elegant”* My Mind Is BLOWN!!!
I started ballet at age 53. At that time I was a size 14, US. So not a tiny girl. I've lost a little bit since, but no means am I tiny. You can do it if you want it.... There is no telling how far you can take it. But I have a good time in class. It helps keep me in shape, I enjoy being in class with other people, by the way, my classmates are children. I finally got my point shoes 4 months ago.
RESPECT! So inspiring when seniors are physically capable and independent, as well as in 100% mental state. Sport and other physical acitivity are so important.
How deeply moving! For Madam Suzelle to think of sharing the rich beauty and serenity of ballet to those that are often confined to their nursing homes, etc., is so touching. The fact that she is such an inspiration, is not at all surprising. Her personal legacy will bear fruit through her students. I look forward to discovering her poetry and to sharing it with my grandchildren. A truly amazing woman and a blessing to the world even in her advanced age!
WOAH Inever and I mean never ever ever seen a woman in her 70's dancing ballet and that's awesome that she did ballet all her life. This video of her telling her story about her being a dancer for many years has touched my heart. And I just love it when she's helping kids that want to do ballet and if they've done ballet before and they are not good at it still they go to this amazing , inspiring 77 year old lady who've never ever stopped dancing . I just love when people just pick something that thier good at and sticking to it it's so amazing this video made me cry so much because it's so emotionally magnificent .

At this age, she wears pointe shoes and can dance gracefully. How wonderful!
I love the example she's setting for those girls, that's so sweet!
Idk what Homestuck is I just like this picture i agree! Start doing what you love doing now!
Marijke plays amen!
Life never ends if you belive it.😉
Hahaaa at 30????
Lore Bay This is a beautiful comment! Thank you so much for these words. They made my day.
It’s crazy how beautiful she is... I’m not just saying that, she looks like a work of art.

Удивительная женщина!!! Вот с кого надо брать пример! Любить свое дело и забыть про возраст!
I had to leave Ballet when I was 11 (I started when I was 3) because I got very ill... now nearly 10 years later I am still very ill and long to go back... hopefully the new year brings me some good health so I can re-train and dance once more :)
justmeish1997 best of luck to to you :)

I do ballet for 7 years and everybody says 'Wow! it's been so long since you started to ballet'. Well if somebody says the same thing again I will show them this video. Look at this lady she is doing ballet for 7 decades! Ten times more than me!!! Wow what an ispiration...
Do u have to be flexible to do ballet cause I'm not flexible and u wanna be a dancer and cause I wanna try out for ballet
I thought she said she started when she was 60...
Hi. May I ask, how old were you when you first did ballet?
"Life is short not to do what you want to do." Thank you Madame. Just the words I needed to hear right now.
Heismyrock3 Thank you so much 🤗! I'll definitely check it out too :P
I'm 33 and I started ballet when I was... 31 LOL Life is over only when we want it is over. For me Life is starting now :)

I love how she talked about Ballet teaching you so much and that it doesn´t matter if some of the kids don´t stick with it forever. There are quite a few Ballet teachers out there being really harsh and they forget that not everybody will become a professional and it's also not what this should be about. She really got some good points there.
this is so beautiful.
yeah very
Here I am at twenty thinking life 'ends' at forty
For many, maaany people life *begins* after 40. Trust me
Skitah Lego It doesn't. I'm 41, verging on 42, and I've never felt so alive.
I turned 40 this year, and trust me, 40 is an amazing number!! Turning 30 ten years ago was amazing, and every year after that improved. I had been looking forward to turning 40 for five years, and it didn't disappoint!!! Now I can't wait to be 50.
For me I think life ends at 30 lol
Mandi why no kids?
Thank you so much for showing us all this wonderful woman. At 65 I had begun to think I was merely "taking up space" with my life. This dear lady is truly inspiring.
humming bird I hope you don't think that. You are valuable matter whom you are. I have often had similar thoughts due to my chronic illness; but I've found that even though I can't do everthing I'm still able to contribute to the world.
Madame Poole, you are strong, beautiful, graceful and a wonderful example for your students, who love and admire you, and who look up to you. You are an inspiration!
What a lovely woman; full of grace & kindness. She's beautiful.

Give her a tv show. It’ll be better content than dance moms ever was.
aaron everett I love dance moms! How dare you to say rude things about it . I only didn't give dislike because of this old lady and her dancing .
Aunee AfterGirl nothing against dance moms..but dance moms is shit lmao. i was a dancer for 18 years and most of the girls on that show are alright but mediocre at best. and the mothers act like children. 4/10 for good content.
+aaron everett Well said.
aaron everett EXACTLY. NO DRAMA OR ANYTHING, JUST PURE HEART WARMING SMILES
Aunee AfterGirl Excuse you? So you are saying, that you perfer a crappy Dramatic show, that has petty little girls, petty mothers, and a Coach who soon will be in jail than Watch this beautiful Lady who is so inspiring, and warms your heart? If yes, you have no soul. Dont call her "old". Age is just a number. And if age mattered id call you a baby. Stop whining over Stupid shows and take a look at a reality for once. I started ballet when was 4 year old and now I'm 11 and I'm still going because I love ballet
