omg i just finished my invisalign treatment a couple of months ago and idk if anyone has mentioned this but my biggest tip is always changing your aligners at night! you’ll wake up used to it since you wore them overnight already instead of having to deal with the pain all day :-) also the lisp is the cutest part about invisalign !!!

this channel is litch a goldmine, your videos, for me, are one of a kind. like the way u edit is perfect; the mix of comforting & cool visuals, text fonts, music, etc; the periods of interacting w other ppl & the self-quiet time; the periods of speaking to the camera directly and telling us viewers those little details and then just letting the camera sit quietly in the bg while you do whatever... like, have you taking film classes? your videos always turn out perfect. i'm really praying that when i grow up, things can work out for me like they have for you. you've said before (i think on get real) that even though your parents never made you feel without, that you still grew up in a low income environment, and i really, really identify with that. but now you're a grown adult, and you have a stable job, your own home you can decorate perfectly to your taste, & great ppl around you. even your confidence & fashion sense, watching all your vlogs, i can see how it grew over time into this beautiful, kinda unique, sassy style, and i always tell my sisters how much i love that. you've really helped me embrace my own femininity, it's so nice just to see a girl ranting about sailor moon and moving house and dancing to her lps and going out and visiting different countries and taking photos and hanging out with her gfs, etc. i don't want to put any pressure on you with all this praise, please just keep making vlogs how you always do. and i don't want to freak you out with this intensity either, i'm just grateful that you've shared your bit of the world with us because it really comforts me when things get tough in my own life, because i have your vids to vicariously live through. i never usually comment but i've been keeping up with this channel for a while and i just had the urge to thank you, after u said in this vid that watching your old vids makes you feel grateful & remember where you started all the love & gratitude

I have friends who've had Invisalign and have mentioned the maintenance -- a lot of teeth brushing between meals, certain foods that shouldn't be consumed cause they're so sticky. You'll probably also have to do a lot more flossing than you typically do.
I’m a little late, but during my Invisalign tx I made sure to always bring the case with me whenever I would go out. Esp if I’m going to a restaurant so that I can place it in the case while eating and not a napkin which could potentially be thrown out accidentally. I also always had a toothbrush in my bag so I could brush my teeth after lunch at work or if I’m out all day I can at least brush my teeth and pop the Invisalign back in right away since it has to be worn as much as possible. Good luck with the tx! It’ll be all worth it 🦷✨
🙋♀Got Invisalign 4-5years ago~ over time your attachments may wear off so your aligners maybe not feel super tight so you can buy silicon chewies. This is a reminder to wear mine at night 🥲

I’d like to hear about your experience regarding LASIK Surgery since you had the surgery a couple of years ago. I am kind of going back and forth undergoing the procedure myself and it doesn’t help having my mom being anxious every time I bring it up. The procedure is quite daunting and intimidating and since you underwent the procedure I'd appreciate your insights since it can be quite informative. 💛

currently on invisalign now and actually finished my trays (17) but needed some minor adjustments (6 more trays). tbh at first i thought it was high maintenance because i was really a stickler for following the directions and needing to floss and brush my teeth AS SOON as i finish eating. and i also tried to eat faster because they said you can only have it off for 2 hours a day. BUTTTT now, ive been WAY more lax about it, and some times i just pop em back in after eating especially if im out. LOL. i think it's ok! i had a recent dental checkup/cleaning and they didn't find any cavities (so thats good i guess). it def gets way easier and at times i feel naked without it.
ALSO ANOTHER THING! Sometimes I bring a backup tupperware container in case i am offered food that i can't eat at the moment. i just take them and bring it back home to eat later hehe
invisalign is so tedious. can't snack without having to floss every time. Every time my friends offer me snacks in between class I have to decline ... T-T when you go out for fun you must floss right after eating. It's not recommended to drink coffee or anything other than water with invisalign but I do it anyways lol -- I NEED my coffee. I think the most annoying part is just flossing EVERYTIME. Brushing your teeth in public isn't realistic and gross too... Good luck I'm still not done with mine!!
I hated it when I had it. I was much younger, but I'm not sure if I would try it again just because of how much maintenance it was and how bad it felt to have them in.
Buying LPs by colour and cover is an amusing concept. I never thought of that ;) My 9-10 meters of ancient vinyl are more curated and also reflect the shift in music taste :)
