I’m from Ghana and we call it beans stew, this is how we make it too. I have to definitely try honey beans, I have heard it tastes really nice. Thx for sharing!
Tried, tested and oh so delicious. Made mine yesterday..I skipped tomatoes as I don't like it...love pepper. I'll try the exact recipe next time. Pressure cookers are life savers... Thanks dear ..keep more recipes coming
Love your recipes. I tried the oatmeal fufu and I am so hooked and now eat that exclusively when I have eat 'okele/swallow'. It tastes divine with efo riro and ogbono. The honey beans porridge is one that I have already tried...but I wanted you to know that I have been making my beans porridge in a slow cooker/crock pot and it turns out really well. Just another suggested way to do this. Stay well and bon appetit. xoxo
Jola Naibi Thank you Jola, I'm glad you tried the Oatmeal fufu and like it. The crock pot/slow cooker is another appliance that can be used, thanks for sharing.
🇨🇾Hi... just a question...don’t you soak beans overnight? I notice you put them in pressure cooker directly... when I prepare beans I soak them overnight, then pressure cook between 3-7 mins depending on the type of bean of course... if I can’t find ‘honey beans’ what would you recommend as an alternative ..thanks
I really can sit on my butt and eat a whole pot of beans if i'm not careful lol! This is a great recipe I cannot wait to try next weekend! Thanks for showing how it's done! Looks so good!
